Whether its a girl or not, he/she is doing it because they think it distinguishes themselves over other aliases on this forum and makes them more unique and stand out to others. If she is a girl, she's got control issues but is lonely (.....stop being so controlling). If she's a man, he's a scam artist or potentially someone seeking to join the shemales of the world.

There is my analysis. It's a shot in the dark, but I'd lean more towards:

A couple of guys on here have asked me for advice to do with girls, since I'm a girl myself. I'm happy to help u guys out if u need some advice from a girl's perspective just ask : ) x

Usually girls don't make such a point of "since I'm a girl myself".   But there *have* been many guys posing as girls, bringing up that they are "a girl", as part of their scams.

Why would you want to bring to everyone's attention that you're a girl.  Like you did here.  And here:

Hii!
Just wondering if there are any fellow girls on here who are into Bitcoin mining, trading, etc. It seems it's mainly guys. We are roughly 50% of the population of this planet yet I can't find any girls who are into Bitcoins, anywhere.

To lonely nerds, "a girl" might be a big deal, but I don't know any females who are so hung up on and feel the need to advertise that they are female.

Watch out guys!

It was relevant to the post, both times. I've also started like 10 other posts without mentioning I'm a girl, cause it wasn't relevant.
I'm not a "lonely nerd", I'm a girl, and some of my best friends are "nerds" so a bit more respect pls.

Why is it important or relevant on Bitcointalk that you "are a girl".     Are you a child? (Adults don't tend to call themselves "girls", rather "women").  I also don't know any "girls" who feel the need to continuously say "I am a girl".   Why do that?  Why not be a human and an equal?

whats the first steps to lead into a conversation despite her having a bf.

She's got a boyfriend...mmm...in that case approach her "as a friend", any excuse will do i.e. offer help with something or ask her to recommend a movie or music or whatever. Get close to her as a friend and take that opportunity to show her why you're a great guy (without being too obvious). If you're lucky, sooner or later her relationship will go thru a rough patch. If the guy is great I'm afraid you don't stand a chance. But if the guy is a jerk, well, she'll be single again soon, which is great news for you! Smiley
