Yes we will still have the free market with regulations. When they say about the regulations then they literally mean that it’s use and the way it is exchanged should be regulated. On top of this, they also mean that every transaction should be taxed small or big doesn’t matter. This way they will give it format of fiat only which works almost the same manner but they will also keep it decentralised, the principle on which it works. Obviously if that one taken out then it will never work.

How do you guys think? Do we need regulations in the crypto world? Should only ICO be regulated or legit coins (not "security tokens") too? Can we implement regulations mechanisms in code so that corrupted governmental institutions couldn't manipulate the industry? Can we still have free market with governments' regulations across the world?

Please, share your thoughts. I'm a bit confused about what's happening right now.
To attract more investors, I think it's necessary to regulate new ico and screen out those suspicious projects.

Regulated usage of bitcoin as well other digital currencies will cause a stability without much deviation in price. It'll continue to function same as that of the forex, the user might not get a bigger profit as the price moves will not be big providing opportunity to earn from the difference.

Regulation won't necessarily cause price stability. A volatile price isn't caused by a lack of regulation, it's caused by rampant speculation on the value of the asset. So being regulated won't cut down on the rampant speculation going on. There are plenty of regulated securities and assets that experience high volatility, and that's because expectations on the value of the asset changes rapidly. I would fully expect Bitcoin to continue to be volatile if/when it becomes fully regulated, because people are still going to be trying to profit off it in the short term.

Every now and then we need always a regulations in order to have a proper process or anything else because regulation intends to regulate what people are allowed to do, and I think that in crypto world we need a regulation to have a clearer transactions for all.
I agree with your opinion, other than that the rules, so that consumers feel safe, because everyone is looking for a safe to invest.

Yes. Regulation make everybody aware on what will be the limits and requirements to meet. Regulations is the one who can control everybody. It is also the strength and shield of one government without it government is so weak.

We always need regulations whether or not from the government. Things will be out of control when no regulations are implemented by the community.
Indeed it is god to make everything regulated and well disciplined so that it will give you profit all the time. Fix the time for investment and invest then, now in several countries bitcoin is suppose to use as regular currency and people are able to buy everything using bitcoin without any fear, if bitcoin will be regular it will be more famous and save for the investors and they will find bitcoin the open currency to use and highly profitable to invest and save.

When governments talk about "regulations" the only intention is to control and to tax.
So, I think it's better to avoid any kind of interference by authority, and to keep until it will be possible our anonymity.
It's not too difficult.

In every organization not just bitcoin is good to have regulations in order for proper guidances to all members and to prevent the abuse of authority not just the leader but also to members, the regulations in the government is for the government itself the securities and exchange and especially the tax. For bitcoin is good to have regulations for harmony and order.

yes we need regulation to the fear in peoples mind and make it more authentic. it will also make acceptable by all as means of exchange

But regulations tend to make markets too rigid and possibly very complex as different countries will ask for different thing to invest and make ICOs very difficult to launch.

That's right, and probably these regulations will make bitcoin different from how we see it today. But we also have to understand that without regulations, there's no chance that btc and crypto will have the mass adoption it needs to grow more. Governments will probably allow crypto to flourish but with certain restrictions.

Yes of course, we do really need regulations cause aside from all of that there are some who just take for granted bitcoin in other words they don't take seriously bitcoin. Having a regulations is like having a house rules a rules we need to obey. That's what makes a nice community .

I hope that the community pulls itself together to impose some self regulation. Given the antipathy governments and banks show towards blockchain, they will certainly use regulations to curb it as much as possible.

Controls will happen in any case. Be that as it may, it would even now be superior to getting defrauded out of millions where you don't know where you're cash went. It better on the off chance that we let the administration have some control on crypto with the goal that we are ensured somehow.
