Most persons may say no but YES is the actual answer
In the ideal sense the dominance of crypto currencies by women is in great progress. Bitcoin is  the most popular crypto currency and therefore a currency of such will be dominated either now or in the future.
Women engage in crypto currency transactions also like men do the reason you may feel they don't is because those that don't have not much idea about it.
Yes, they do, you can't basically know the actual percentage but they obviously do, and I say this because my wife does cryptocurrency trading, and I know a lot of other women who do it as well, so the answer to your question is yes, of course. The world is moving forward at a very fast pace, and women that are smart understand what they need to do to keep up.

Their involvement with cryptocurrencies will surely increase over time as the word spreads around more. I recently saw the news that in a country, women are dominating the male traders and are earning a higher percentage of profit compared to men.

Women are not lagging behind now, along with men, women have many updates in the trading sector they are also in the stock market and other trading sectors.Although women are very less in the training sector but they are getting involved in crypto trading day by day. Many female friends I know are involved in trading. As the awareness of Bitcoin has spread widely around the world, women are also becoming interested in learning about Bitcoin, especially college and varsity girls. And they are sharing their experience with others. But not all countries are equal, countries that are more developed and modern have more women in the training sector.

It is true that the world of trading has been dominated by men since the beginning but since 2019 the situation has actually started to turn around as a survey has shown that 43% of women have joined trading.Well this number has increased now I think it's almost equal now although the amount may be different in different parts of the world. So now it would be wrong to think that women have less idea about Cryptocurrencies trading.

The cryptocurrency world is open to everyone, regardless of gender. Both men and women have equal opportunities to participate in the market, and there is no reason why women can't be as successful as men. With the right education, resources and support, women can become successful crypto traders and investors.

The number of women participating in cryptocurrency transactions is steadily increasing. In fact, women are increasingly interested in the world of crypto trading, and they are making their presence known. A recent survey conducted by Gemini, a popular cryptocurrency exchange, found that 39% of women who responded to the survey had invested in cryptocurrency, while 17% said they were interested in investing in the future.

In my opinion, of course there are men and women who do crypto trading, but if my look at the market and I always see a chat room on one of the exchange applications, it turns out that there are more male names than women, so in my opinion, only a small proportion of women trade bitcoin.

but for the real thing I don't know because the number of people trading bitcoin in the world is very large and very difficult to predict.

I also think like you, because my friends involved in cryptocurrency are mostly male, almost not female. We don't have data on this, but it would be nice if more women entered the trade. We are an equal world, so I hope we will have the opportunity to welcome more women to the market.

I will only say No to the question if maybe I live in a hole to not know what is going on around me and around the world.
I tell you for sure that, if there was a way to start counting, we may likely discover that we have more women traders than we have men, most men are more focused on investing for the long term, I have several young ladies here in my area who are bitcoin traders, and they are so good in it that some times, I begin to where they learnt their style of trading from, cus I know that even as an OG myself, this ladies possess strategies I never really imagined.

So yes, we are really into bitcoin trading and the beautiful thing is that, many of them are even doing so well, more than the men.

According to my understanding the involvement of Women into cryptocurrency have increased over time. The best thing, they are much into accumulating more and more for the future than focusing on trading of cryptocurrencies. Women have got good patience than men which makes them better hodlers than traders. There are good number of Women traders, but those are really low when compared to the men's in the same trading practice. With time things could change as women are dominant in most of the industry. There is good increase in the number of female cryptocurrency traders over the past two years. In specific the 25-35 age group have made good number of signup.

As far as I can see in my locality, there are still some women trading but not as many as men. I know a local woman who is doing a great job and she even has a telegram group to talk to with a large number of members and most of them are men. She is not only a bitcoin trader but also a professional trader with the forex market, especially trading with gold only. Trading pairs are considered the most volatile of the forex market.

Trading is not restricted by gender, so everyone whether the person is a woman or a man can trade.  As a matter of fact, there is some news that women are outperforming men in terms of trading.  We all know that in the early years, trading is dominated by men but the era of gender equality is upon us so women are also engaged in trading.  Oh btw, this is not news anymore and everyone already knows that women are also engaged not only in trade but also in many other male-dominated industries.
Its a free thing and there are no qualifications or criteria's on whose the one would be joining up this venture as long you do know on what you are doing and you do really make out profits then this what matter most. For sure there are women who are involved with trading on which it would really be just that normal because there's no way that we could be able to know on whose trading behind those monitors
or the other side of the market since everything is done virtually. We dont even know that our neighbors are really making up trades. There's no restriction into it.
Thing here is that you should do your best on sustaining yourself with this unpredictable market.

No that's probably not the reason why men think there is less involvement of women in crypto instead, each one has their own judging perspective which is unpredictable, overall, things revolve around no knowledge (as you mentioned) but there are many surveys has been done to get you an idea of how many women are involved in crypto trading and some of these stats are shared by Wazirx exchange because they have the right data through KYC details so I think it's quite legit, according to them.
Quote
As per the WazirX survey, trading volume by female users has increased 3.3 per cent in a year, growing from 15.27 per cent in 2021 to 18.57 per cent last year. Combined, women investors, holds an amount of Rs 354.9 crores in their wallets.

Overall, women are in great numbers than men in the world but still, they do not give cryptocurrency a try, WHY? maybe they do not want to, like most of them have no responsibility to earn money to face the financial requirements of the home she just has to manage the home and kids like (housewives) but some are working women who love to work and want to face there expenses on there own but still, housewives not earning money, number of them are greater throughout the world. According to stats of Ownership of Cryptocurrency, 37% of female owns it.

There are no gender difference in the cryptocurrency world between men and women, right now many women have been active as investor in Bitcoin and some of them have been part for several project as ambassador. I don't think with men is dominance in Bitcoin investment right now due many women in my social Facebook friend list as women.

Seems women have more detail about cryptocurrency investment, based on with several time I got my friend as women with earn profit from Bitcoin and details research before investing in Bitcoin or altcoin, current condition right now not problem yet between women active in cryptocurrency because not matter about your gender but how smart when researching some project before investing.

I have seen many women who invest in bitcoin and also trade bitcoin, and many are getting associated with bitcoin as time counts.  Some people thinks women are not much interested in cryptocurrency,  well this can depend on the location where you come from. Another thing you should understand not all women can be able to bare the risk that is in cryptocurrency.

But from my own experience I know women engage in cryptocurrency,  I have even met several women who have come to me that they want to learn crypto trading.

I don't know if this is a question or an answer, but trading is not gender biased; it is not exclusive for men or women as it was made to give us all equal opportunity to earn profit, and the truth is that you can see that there are a couple of women that are more successful than men because they are more disciplined and follow their rules before they trade. I really like following some female traders on social media because they are good at recognizing their biases.
Exactly. Trading is not just limited to men as both men and women have equal opportunities to trade and earn significant profits. But it’s undeniable that there are higher population of men who are into trading than women but that does not mean that women are incapable to trade. There are still quite number of women who have made successful trades because of their high determination and eagerness to trade and earn valuable profits.

In to this article titled, Women are getting more and more invested in crypto: Survey, they reported that:

Quote
Survey results show that women are intensely interested in cryptocurrency. According to  eToro’s data, ownership climbed from 29% in the third quarter of 2022 to 34% in the most recent quarter. This, according to the eToro team, indicates that cryptocurrency is “succeeding where traditional financial markets have sometimes failed,” which is why it has risen in popularity among women.

So globally, more women are getting in to cryptocurrency, why shouldn't they? The world is gender and the cryptocurrency market is genderless. I heard of a woman in the middle east who teaches girls to code and pay them in bitcoins. So this in my opinion is part of the reason that lead to more adoption of cryptocurrency among the female gender.

So what if I tell you the first person who introduced me into cryptocurrency was a lady? Will you be surprise? Because Crypto just like any other digital skill, I see no reason why women shouldn't engage in crypto trading, as that is one skill whereby a persons gentleness doesn't matter, in as much as the person is ready, and willing to take the risk and has the funding capital to kick start your crypto trading. Anybody can do that.

Because if you haven't seen any woman trading crypto, then that means maybe she just wants to keep it private on a low key.
Research has it that women are far more better cryptocurrency traders than men since women's level of concentration is a bit higher than that of men and at that even if it looks so unpopular for women to make their Bitcoin/crypto involvement public their still make practical approach to actively gain from the growing cryptocurrency market today.
So I believe you when you said the woman was the first person to have to introduce you to cryptocurrency and in my locality woman make up a high percentage of traders we have as most names that pop up while doing p2p trading are mostly women.

There are no gender restrictions for trading, and therefore, it can be done by both women and men.

I know only male traders (from public ones), but this doesn't mean at all that there are no women in the crypto space. I don't have much idea about trading by women, but you seem to have. Could you tell us about it if you bring up this topic?
What men can do today, women too are also capable which means if men can trade well with crypto, women too are also trying their best to excel in crypto. As there is no gender restrictions in trading, so both men and women can equally engage in crypto trading and succeed as well. Though it’s seldom to see women engaging in crypto, but I don’t think they still have to come out in the market so their efforts will be recognized. I believe traders should do it privately, so no need to expose their genders when trading.

It is usually seen that women has less interest in technology compared to men. Mostly regarding new technology. But we have seen many of them joining the crypto industries. We are only able to know that because they choose to disclose their identity. But we don't know about many who hasn't disclosed their identity. We only see individuals doing good on trading and assume that it's a male. But it could be the opposite too.
So in conclusion, it doesn't matter who is doing what and what their gender is. Do what you usually do and forget about it.

Gender involvement is not based on any reason, because bitcoin or crypto is not created only for men or women, but so far the involvement of men is far greater than the percentage of women and it is possible that in the future women will also dominate. Ignorance is not a basis for saying women do not dominate involvement in Bitcoin or Crypto, because technological developments can be accessed by anyone at this time.

A more rational reason in my opinion is at the level of women's thinking and not daring to take risks like men to get involved in bitcoin or crypto, most of the women around me say so and they really avoid any form of risk in any investment, normally women play it more safe like saving money in savings or buy jewelry.
