Right now I do not spend any bitcoin because the rising has been so good, I honestly think it will let me lose profit that I can make in the future.
Its just a matter of time before I will spend it of course but this will mostly be around the end of this year.

I wouldn't say I actively spend it. I buy CS:GO keys from people on this forum once a week. I'm not sure if you count that as actively. Also, I have bought a couple of items from purse.io before.
I have only bought some things online but I sad to my self that I am not going to spend to much Bitcoins anymore because they are getting worth money.
This is my chance to make some money and I will not let that chance slide by spending all my Bitcoins.
Spending will be bad now around this time and that is because you have to know that the value of Bitcoin is becoming higher so that is nice for people who already have Bitcoin.
But it will be really hard to know what is going to happen later in the future.

For now, i'm not actively spend my bitcoins. Because right now i'm holding my bitcoins until the halving come, many people predict the price of bitcoin will increase so high though, so i'm not spend my bitcoins.

i'm busy earning bitcoin, altcoins and fiat rather than spending them. when i have not too much, it's better like that.

That's the best thing to do now, is just by holding out your bitcoin and just wait for the halving so that you can earn a good profit from it.
Then you can spend actively again when you already get profit from it.

for the few places that do accept bitcoin, do you currently spend the coins you hold at any of them?

I know places like www.takeaway.com accept bitcoin and i even heard CEX.co.uk accept bitcoin in stores now too, but does anyone spend the bitcoins they have or do most just onto hold them? (Or gamble them lol)

I wonder if there will ever be any retailers that only accept bitcoin.
Honestly i think the most sensible thing to do would be to save bitcoins as at the moment the value is quite low, but after the halving it should skyrocket, spending now seems like a bad idea when you can save them for now and buy later a lot more
I gamble with mine and honestly it's a mistake, because far more often than not you'll end up bankrupt in minutes when going on a loss fuelled spree, justified by the occasional win, hate it, but wouldn't change it

You cannot say that price is too low at a moment it is the best price that we have seen in recent past, but it would be the best if we can hold it till halving to get extra benefits from it.
Exactly, the more we hold our coins before the halving we will experience more profit. Just remember to drop it after the halving because my speculation is the price will fall a bit or would be stable.

I am not spending my coins on a daily basis. But at least 2/3 times a month I buy things online.
Sometimes on bitcointalk and sometimes online in the shops that accept bitcoin. So i do spend, but not active.

We all love to spend our coins for buying online stuff but I think we should stop spending now as halving is very near and it will show us some best price of bitcoin.
Already near to 800$ is bitcoins price right now and I expect to get it over 1000$ for sure and hence I am not spending them for now, I am thinking of saving them for at least 1 month and then see how it goes. Yes I do gamble a few bitcoins though but very few.

The halving is near and people as far as i know are trying to hold as much as possible because we think that the price of bitcoin will increase maybe double than right now and no I'm not spending.

Yeah, majority of us doing the same that we are holding our bitcoins for the next couple of months, it is expected that price would be much higher after the halving.

The bitcoin has proved many times itself that has potential to go more than 1000+ dollars, and i believe that bitcoin is on its way to this target. The halving is less than 3 weeks to happen and I hope to see good surprises. So spending or selling the bitcoins now does not seem to me as the best option so we are not spending them yet.

Exactly and we have really waited for long time to see the best price of bitcoin and now we have reached to that stage where we may see all time high price of bitcoin in coming days.

Not as much as I would want to. The options are not as many as possible. There are some options online but I would prefer to buy in physical shops. That is why the only use for it right now is to pay bills online and load my mobile phone.

Its good not to spend now, better you hold your coins for halving, spend when you see the best price of bitcoin, and if you don't have option to spend then convert it to your local currency.
It is good too to spend it since your letting bitcoin to circulate around rather than selling it which decrease the demand of the coin.
If you invest by keeping only your bitcoins then the supply circulation in the market will be lessen and that is what is happening now because people believe that halving will give them a good profit so they are holding their bitcoins, and due to the high demand of supply the price is still increasing.

Halving round the corner no one will prefer to spend their coins, as everyone wants to make profits and I am sure everyone will sell their coins at the time of halving, not before that.

Definitely do. I invest my bitcoin and spend it sometimes on gift card purchases online. However, I don't spend it in real life simply because there is a lack of vendors in real life.

Would like to see more physical vendors accepting BTC in future.

Converting is the solution since it's just the same as doing payment in bitcoin to some physical stores that accepts bitcoin.

Actually many merchants will open of adding bitcoin as one of their payment method if most of the coins are used in the market. Right now the role of bitcoin in most of the cases is investment.
Its true that many merchants are now opening to add bitcoin as a way of payment what that is recent is the steam community and I hope league of legends shop will adopt too or Garena store.

Are you from Philippines (or I think it will work too outside the country) ? If yes you may use coins.ph exchange. It offers a service where you can use your bitcoin to purchase Garena Shells.

No additional rate. 1:1. Better check it out.

physical vendors are available nowadays for the acceptance of bitcoin but still you can buy physical things with bitcoin from a number of online stores which accept bitcoin as payment, which you can call as the physical use of bitcoin in your life.
