Well what could I say, without gambling I would not know bitcoins and because of bitcoins I can gamble conveniently at a different online gambling sites and sports book, now that it's NBA finals I always spend huge amount of bitcoins to bet of my favorite team. I was really impressed by the benefits of bitcoins because by using it I have the most amazing experience when it comes to cashing out my money, no delays and no transaction fee.

In my opinion, bitcoin is already becoming a major currency that can be actually used. People are actually using bitcoin over traditional payment methods, such as cash and paypal.

Steam started accepting bitcoins just a few weeks/months back so I do actively spend my bitcoins on steam items Smiley
Great news mate, they are already adopting to bitcoins, the more the days pass the more businesses will be adopting with bitcoins. For me all I can do to support the community is to spread the news and to actively spend it with my gambling hobbies.

Yes my friend, every day I am carrying out transactions in bitcoins, although I have to admit that most of these transactions are based on my forex trading activity, because I use to trade on brokers accepting bitcoin as a valid platform to deposit and withdraw money.

Not for now cause i reserved all my btc for the incoming halving.. I m holding on myself not to spend any amount of my btc that i have saved.
Yes, I thought so too, since bitcoin prices rise, I've never again use bitcoin I get, it's because I also want the benefits of halving this, and I hope it will be stable
Well maybe you not spend bitcoin for something you need because you think to holding and get benefit of halving but you will not regret? if after halving bitcoin price less than $570 at current price.

At the moment I am holding to see what will happen with the price. If everything goes well before the halving i will try to either cash out or use my bitcoins to spend at a way higher price at some webshops.
Give it time and we will see 1k again and that's my goal.

Well there is 2 ways to benefit from the rise.
-Either you sell your bitcoins at an exchange or so
-Or you use your bitcoin with a higher purchasing power..

Both are very good ways to get the maximum out of your bitcoin value.

Halving will not make the bitcoin price stable because in general, all traders and exchangers are here for profits. That is the main reason why price fluctuates.

Rather than hoping that the price will become stable as a result of halving, just ride it and take advantage.

Reading this thread I am afraid that speculators do not consume. How can we increase consumption with Bitcoin?

for the few places that do accept bitcoin, do you currently spend the coins you hold at any of them?

I know places like www.takeaway.com accept bitcoin and i even heard CEX.co.uk accept bitcoin in stores now too, but does anyone spend the bitcoins they have or do most just onto hold them? (Or gamble them lol)

I wonder if there will ever be any retailers that only accept bitcoin.
I spend them more often than most of the people. The reason is that I do gambling and have to deposit withdraw very often, moreover I spend a lot of bitcoins for recharging my mobile and paying off bills.

No currently I am not actively spending my bitcoins on my
uses as now halving will come and with that our saved
money will increase invalue, so I am not spending actively
but I am earning and buying bitcoins actively and holding
them in my wallet.
Good idea, this is not the time, at least for this time while the halving is nearing we should discipline ourselves to save and do not spend more as this is a good opportunity of having a good profit in the future. Spending on items can wait and we can buy more of it if we have a successful price in halving.

I sometimes spend them but not often anymore due to the fact that the bitcoin is gonna rise to a higher amount this year with the halving.

No I do not spend them actively right now because of the fact that the bitcoin is having a very good future this year.
Its just a matter of time before its getting profitable in my eyes.
yes, you'd better go on like that, bitcoin will definitely have a good future. and I think this time is not a wise choice to spend a bitcoin, but I also do, I spent my bitcoin because I need it

actively and wisely, this past weeks i'm just investing all my accumulated bitcoin, i havent put any bitcoin in a gambling site now a days because i know that i will lose them and will never won with a small bankroll
yeah it looks like an investment included in spending bitcoin? so I had very frequent transactions in bitcoin. because I always make an investment in any one day or two days in various investment sites. such as Ponzi and also hyip I also do gambling. I also have a frequently spend bitcoin

Well you must be careful in investing with those hyip and ponzis scheme, they are just paying in the first days of its operations. But in the long run,
it will surely run from their investors.
But still, its your choice, that's why you are an active spender.

yeah ponzi investment sites usually will not last more than 2-3 weeks. but maybe in one week if they had enough to make a profit, they will be a scammer. although in the beginning they pay I hope you still are not tempted.
Actually ponzi website is what most of the guys invest in. Some are wise and they invest small, cash out first time and never invest back again ever. But at the same time the ponzi profits, so some people always loose.

if you invest at a very beginning and the ponzi is carefully set up to last for a few months you can actually make some good money out of it, its just like gambling to be honest

i dont spend a lot of bitcoins to be honest, i save it up for later more because i know that the price is going to grow thus allowing me to make some good money in short period of time

In my country , there is not much option to spend openly the bitcoins, so for me it like yes and no actually, because I hold some of my bitcoins in my hardware wallet and some of my in Web wallet. So I am currently holding some and some  I invest in cloud mining or purchase something only online.
