I believe in death penalty for a little number of crimes. You can put a guy on electric chair if he's a war criminal who killed children (and for some extremely wild rapists and killers I agree even with tortures). But I don't agree with death penalty for most of crimes like stealing or murdering a man in a drunk fight. That's the story, folks.  Wink

I dont think death penalty is the solution of sins or crime.. God give us his life., i think hes the only one can get someones lifes

Did God save those victims by this criminals? If yes then all is fair. Unfortunately, He did not( I am now doubting if He is really there or just a creation of those playful minds ).

Death penalty is needed, but should only be used to those who take the life of other people. It should not be use as a tool by those vindictive politicians who are in power.

On the contrary that God gave us commandment that it is not right to kill a person. It has a case to case basis wherein the people that do commit such brutal crimes and finds iut guilty they must be the ones who can be persecuted through death penalty.

Some part of me says no but some says yes. I don't because nobody deserve death because of what they did, they are still humans and have families. I also says yes because they should think of the consequences of what they did and the effect to their victims and its family.

I believe that we just borrow our lives from God. And He is the only one who have right to take them away from us.
I do. But it depends on the person and what crime they did. If its worth the penalty. Some people are just having false accusation so we better analyse it first. But yes. I'm agree to death penalty.

For some cases I believe it is necessary. when the offender will never be safe to society no matter how much rehabilitation.

Yes, i believe the criminals should take consequences for every crime they made.

As harsh as it may sound, only this logic works with the criminals. We have Christian churches out there which preaches forgiveness for the criminals. And trust me, it never works. I have seen criminals getting out of prison with the help from church groups and conducting crimes again, within a span of few months. And I am talking about hardcore criminals, such as murderers and rapists.

I certainly agree with it. We should value our lives as the Lord values it. We should hate sin and not the sinners. Though half of me says the criminals should also suffer and experience the crime that they had commited, my heart says that they still deserve a second chance to change their lives. We all commit sins, but only the Lord had the right to judge us.

It's easy for us to talk about the death penalty while sitting at the computer and not having anything to do with the prison system. But we need to remember that we are talking about human life. No matter how bad a person is, he deserves to live.

Yes, I agree with capital punishment. Capital punishment is extremely necessary. We should take these people out back and let their victims or victims family beat them to death. This should be televised nationally. We should send a message to our society that we will not tolerate violent criminals. Doing this would deter crime and save a lot of money.
Death penalty should be given to those who did crimes. Killer or rapist should be given death penalty in public square so that nobody again dare to kill or rape someone. It is better to kill one criminal than poisoning his next generation because his upcoming  generation will do the same like their ancestors did. Believing death penalty means not tolerating the violence of the society.

I think that forced sterilization or castration for rapists and twenty years of prison is quite enough, you can also kill the murderers by court order to life, but with a review of the "case" in five to ten years. Now, DNA is deciphered, while in Russia everything in the blood group is determined guilty or not ..

Absolutely not. It has even been proved that death penalty is not a good deterrent.

I need this. For rapists in the first place. Even better, give them for life, but not in a simple prison, but in a special one, in which they will also be raped.

No. I value life, even the sinful. Plain and simple. Everyone deserves a second chance.
