My answer is simple, no. We don’t need bitcoin banks at all, they cannot do a single thing to make open an account on one if it existed, if I wanted to earn low interest out of my bitcoin I will just invest it in a casino bankroll and get the same benefits as with any bank in my country.
Same benefits? I dont think so since bitcoin does really give even more profits or interest that banks cant give but the disadvantage only is bitcoin price could fluctuate and funds would really be affected.Bitcoin bank is not really needed same as you said because what our wallets are for?

if bitcoin will have a bank it will be centralized for sure thats against the creation of bitcoin thats why bitcoin is surviving until now because of that. Fore sure if bitcoin will have a bank there are people who want to come in so that they can manipulate or spy to those transaction online and may feed to people who are against bitcoin.

I am sure that a large group of the people here (mainly the newer/less caring people) don't find it a problem to make use of a centralized service that happens to call itself a Bitcoin bank. If the service in question happens to offer people interest over their coins, some level of security in form of insured balances and so on, then it gives them enough confidence to jump on board. At the end of the day it's their own choice since we all have the freedom to choose.
Probably, but a service of this magnitude would not be convenient maybe,  because most of them end up selling a whole class of services like insurance policies, credits, mortgages, etc., what I do not argue at all is what you mention: at the end of the day it's their own choice since we all have the freedom to choose,  I could almost imagine, as it would be if the banks went into that system, I do not think it does much sense, since the idea behind these institutions is to store the physical money or values in large vaults, although it is true, little by little these have been evolving, the way they handle checks, debit& credit cards, Cash management has been significantly reduced, resulting in that these may already employ fewer people, with all of the above rather than agree or disagree, I think it would be a matter of practicality and only time will could tell the rest

How's that exactly?

That might have been true some 100 years ago, but this is not any more so. Most money today are purely digital, and banks can be loosely thought of as "mining" nodes in the fiat payment network. They also "confirm" transactions, thereby keeping the financial system of a country alive and ticking. They create new money too just like miners create bitcoins, but unlike Bitcoin they are not restricted by a precise algo (there are other restrictions, just in case). As you can see, it is nowhere near the idea of "storing physical money or values in large vaults"

What it seems to me that the idea of a bitcoin bank is the same structure as the dark current financial institution.

Folks seem to be making a mountain out of a molehill

While they forget to mention that Bitcoin mining is presently much more centralized than Bitcoin banks could ever come close to (or even dream of), provided they should appear at all (which is not given). I guess mining can just as easily be thought of as a "service" too, but that doesn't prevent Bitcoin from surviving so far, though this centralization is certainly by far more dangerous and harmful as well as, ironically, "against the creation of bitcoin"
have a word bank for me, it is in the likeness of something abusive. Therefore, any bank I'll take on the negative side.

If bitcoin bank will completely replace the ordinary banks, it will be the same. Although to be honest, I do not care who will deceive the people. This niche business is always someone in control and will continue to do so.

no i do not agree with bitcoin bank because bitcoin has do not need any bank.
you are right that bitcoin have do not need any bank because bitcoin online system is very stable and i think bank will get a high fees and so online system is very much better than bank system and bitcoin online transaction fees is very much lower.
Using bitcoin very cheap, unlike other currencies, but if it will still be touching the hands of banks, even if Bitcoin banks, their services will have extra interest.

I do not think that the creation of bitcoin bank will make something new in the financial system and most importantly to the convenience of human life. The differences between ordinary banks and the bank is practically no bitcoin.

I dont see why we really need bitcoin banks, beside the maybe thing that would make merchants work with it, something at the moment just a few merchants accepting bitcoin. If banks get a product to bitcoin, it might atract few of us inside, but lending we are able already, the max banks can do is loan and take bitcoin as payment that could be a good option, but i dont see banks adopting bitcoin.

Yes, this is one of the reasons why such banks may be useful

And likely not so much because of the banks themselves accepting Bitcoin (though this will certainly add to Bitcoin wider adoption on its own), but because banks would start using Bitcoin only if they are allowed to do so, i.e. the government itself accepts Bitcoin as a legal means of payment. I guess that would deliver the most positive impact on Bitcoin adoption by merchants, especially big online retailers, which usually offer to their clients the widest range of payment methods

seems like a nice idea but to make bitcoin bank takes how many thousands of offices to meet the users in each country is different, unlike the case with the Automated Teller bitcoin, itiu simpler place is small.

I know that decentralization is on of the biggest features and advantages of Bitcoin but I don't disagree with the idea of Bitcoin bank. Bitcoin bank shouldn't follow the bad example of conventional bank but it could offer some new features and products to the Bitcoins users in more unconventional maner, so this doesn't have to be something bad.
