I think that intentionally spreading the belief that they are is used to combat the ever expanding religion of Islam and the political influence of Islamic states that it unavoidably brings to the western hemisphere. The expansionist mindset is the problem. Islam want to conquer the world and rule the humans under a united Caliphate. I would not label the LRA as a Christian group. They are more like a sect rather than mainstream Christian. And none of the Christian churches are supporting them either financially or physically. On the other hand, it was the Sudanese Arab Muslim government, which has historically provided arms and ammunition to the LRA (in order to weaken their rivals Uganda).

I’m not a muslim. But, we can’t keep generalizing that all of muslims are bad. I mean there are also bad catholic or christian people, but we still don’t generalize them all as bad.
