I remember the story of the Octopus predicting the winner of Fifa but I consider it a mere coincidence nothing else for the record even the Octopus got 2 predictions wrong out of 14 which says what is the reality and I don't really dream about betting but only about big melons all the time, not sure why though. Grin

But we all have some kind of superstition thing to do when we want to do something, like wearing a lucky shirt for an interview or holding the same spot when you want your team to win, and so on.
Indeed.
If you want to bet with dreams and other superstitions then that would be fine; trying is better than to not try at all. At first these instances are just coincidence in my perspectibe but it is more likely has something to do with luck and is not something happening with our own likeness 'coz if it is possible to do so, then many people should be rich by now. It could also be driven by frustration if you happened to keep on losing for a long period of time. One thing is for sure; manipulation is more likely to happen than with gamblers being psychic with their bets.

Psychic betting is placing bets based on the prediction of individuals or even animals because of the belief that they possess supernatural power to accurately determine the outcome of a bet. There is the true story of Fatih Ozcan[1] who helped his boss Hayati Kucukkoylu to win a $1.7 million lottery through the power of dreams. He claimed that he received the revelation about the Euro Millions tickets from his dreams. There is also Paul the Psychic Octopus [2] who is known to predict international football games correctly. He even predicted correctly that Spain would win the  2010 FIFA World Cup. Some persons also believe in the gambling predictions of religious leaders [3] to place bets. Some people believe that lunatics are possessed by some supernatural powers so they also depend on them for predictions.

If there's one thing I believe, that's the fact that beyond the physical world that we see there's a spiritual/supernatural one that we can't see and activities that we are not aware of go on there all the time. If those predictions only occured once or twice then we can believe them to be just mere coincidence or they guessed correctly. But that's not the case here, these are multiple occurrences, we hear reports all the time about these psychic predictions and how they prove to be true, you can't just decide not to believe in those occurrences simply because you tell yourself not to believe in superstitions or maybe your religion speaks against such beliefs.

Back when I was in College, around my second year, I also had a dream where I saw that a team called monchengladbach won their game against their opponents. I e never heard about the team before not until I woke up and looked them up and saw there was a team like that and they had a game the next day. That was more than just a coincidence, I've heard about people seeing predictions in their dreams, I felt thise was mine. Back then I had not even stated gambling. That was my first gamble ever. The next day I told a few friends about it and asked anyone who was interested to join me but they all disregarded it and didn't join me, only one of them secretly went to stake the game without telling anyone. I used my savings which was over $300 and to stake the game, although their odds of winning the game was very slim but it didn't scare me. I staked the game and they did actually win the match and I made over $1k that day and everyone who didn't join regretted, and they nicknamed me Joseph the dreamer. I can never forget that experience, so if you ask me if I believe in psychic predictions, yes I do believe and I've also experienced it too.

I remember that period. It was mad. The octopus was more like the most recognized animal on the planet. I am sure that the octopus would have been in like for a nomination of some award.

The reality is that these things are just superstition. I keep asking if they can predict things, why aren't they as wealthy the billionaires through their psychic powers

In gambling, superstitions and metaphysics don't work.

This thing is real! My first bet and first win was a game given to me in the dream. I never believed it so I had to play with small amount of money and got very outrageous winning in a jackpot. This was even what lured me into gambling.

Although, psychic betting works but it also has its weak side because it is not always 100% accurate. Another thing is that our curiosity can give us false images that can be erroneously interpreted.

Finally, I believe its a special gift... there are people whose their's work while there are those whose their's tale the opposite.

For such lotteries to win them I think there is no psychic involved,if that is decided by God and is written down for you that you will win that huge amount you are going to win that huge amount. Most people are intrigued by such wishful thinking as that is what it is for me and they relate their dreams to such happening.I do not believe in the power of the dreams (Honda does as they have it as a slogan) and I think dreams are our sub conscience which tell us in this case to play exactly those number. Also the Octopus was famous in World Cup but I don't think it needed that much choice, usually strange enough he was picking favorites.
