However, if everyone knows this, then there is no incentive to move BTC down to 3K and it would be awfully difficult to move it from 3.5K to 3K. Moreover, even if the whales somehow manage to move BTC down to 3K, it will go back up so there would be no point in massively selling from 3 to 3.5K to move it down.
