Do we still remember the top 10 coins in 2013?  There are new top 10 coins in 2017. So,no one can guarantee the coin outside top 100 will not the one rank top 10 in next bull market.
Because all of results will depend on the development of the platform itself. File coin is even older compared to the litecoin but it has no demand and it can be considered as a zombie coin. it was including on the first tier of altcoin after bitcoin has created by satoshi.

Hey guys, do you buy altcoins which are not top 100 of Coinmarketcap? Isn’t it risky to invest in them? Want to hear your opinion!
I invest in coins that I think have the potential to increase in the future, both from the altcoin top 100 and from ICO tokens with a number of considerations, namely the first number of communities that use them, teams that always develop technology to progress their platforms. I suggest discarding worry because it will not make you successful, then dare to make decisions with accurate analysis.

Of course I do. I do not based my decisions on their rankings although I used it as a guide but still based my decisions on my own preference and study. In fact majority of my altcoins are not included in the top 100 but still they are performing very well in the market. As long as you believed in it, you make your own study about it, you know the possible consequences of your actions then its alright.

Most coins that those are not in the top 100 are new coins. A project who just started and funding. So in our current cryptospace who doesn't support projects that much thing is more of because of the money. That would be so risky especially when it came the project's mainnet.

You can try them but make sure that you are updated to their progress and if they are a real project with a cause. Some of them might be a good investment if you are good enough to spot them.

Risk is everywhere. Coins or tokens that are not ranked top usually have a slow movement, or vice versa, the price changes are very extreme. It usually occurs on newly listed coins. For trading, I prefer to choose a large volume, so the price movement is quite active and the analysis is quite easy to take profit.

no, it's too risky. even for the top 100 I still have to be pursing again into the top 10. which is between xlm, xrp, cardano, or etherum that I will buy for investment.
Even the top 10 is risky, we cannot control the amount of risk we are taking here.

The top 100 coins are just listed based on their marketcap but people does not really look the reason behind.
If you are wise enough, you'll find out why, definitely you'll do your research and look into their development as that way, you will be able to determine their real value.

so true. if pillared, the risk is certain, but we have to be more careful in information and I keep on being frequently informed, even though lately it is still not up to information and hoping that in the coming year it is time to properly eradicate.

When deciding to invest, you should choose coins that have the top rank on the market. The number of coins and those who are ranked 100 and above, it is very vulnerable to failure or passivity in developing. If you want to get good results with a relatively fast and safe time for the future of your assets, at least choose coins with the top 10 on the market.

yes, but not always. only a few times I bought coins with rakings above 100. I only bought coins or tokens based on bounties.

because, when the bounty has finished, and they will immediately list in exchange, usually the price of the token still below the price of ico. therefore I bought it.

Buying coins that aren't yet top 100 involves more risk, but also it involves more profit because of "buy low sell high". If you buy a top coin, its already high than the others.
If you like more secure investments and portfolio diversification, the CoinBundle platform is innovative: before being copied by Coinbase (its Coinbase Bundle), CoinBundle started the bundle investments, were instead of choosing which coins to add to your portfolio, you buy an already done portfolio with choosen strong coins.
There are conservative bundle (Bitcoin, ETH..), emerging (more coins), aggressive (even more coins, if invest on it do with caution), halal (comply with Islamic Finance, Coinbasic bundle (based on Coinbase Bundle, copying who copied, LOL), and top 20, containing instead of your mentioned 100, it contains the top 20 coins.

In the growing market, it was the fastest way to make money, but in a falling market it is a sure way to lose your investment. My answer is definitely worth buying these coins in the growth phase and in no case do not do this in a falling market.

Yes, I bought, my portfolio consists mainly of such coins. Today they cost nothing and I lost all my money. Do not be greedy, it is better to have in the portfolio liquid tokens.

No, not really. I am just buying some coins that has already established a good reputation on the market and it is really needed when you will going to risk your investments. I guess try to choose from the top 10 in the coin market cap for a much more safer way of investing.

and we see now the price of ethereum has started to experience price increases and I think this time it has gotten quite a lot of profits Cool

In my part as I am not a fully trader or short term investor. I consider myself as an observer and a holder (long term investor).

I always follow the basic of investment. Buy low and sell high, therefore I always monitor the flow of the market every day.
As you can see in these past days, the flow of the market goes down pretty deep. Many are worried and panicking but in my case, I love it as it is the best time for me to buy the currencies that I like to hold for a long term duration.

I also choose within the top 10 only to buy and hold for a long term duration. It is my little strategy.

buy a little only when a market crash occurs, if the market is normal, I don't buy non top 100 coins,
the possibility of ROI is greater when the market crashes, and tends to give a large profit too
I myself have not made non-top 100 coins as a priority, but so far it has given me considerable benefits, including the benefits of money
maybe next time I have to start considering the investment strategy on non top 100 coins

In my opinion, investing in any coin in the market has a level of risk, including BTC and the top 100 currencies. I myself sometimes invest in new and cheap currencies in the market, however, I only invested a very small amount that I was willing to lose.

I buy only coins of new projects that have just come to exchange! I think that they are still underestimated and most likely they will be dumped very cheaply.
