I do not agree that the ranking of an altcoin is important, but rather how good the project is and solves some common problem in the world. In fact, there is nothing on the crypto market that is not risky

Some of the altcoins in the top 100 are already very risky to invest with. What more for those altcoins not included in the top 100. If ever I'll invest on those altcoins, I'll make sure that I afford to lose those capital. On the other side, the good thing about those coins is that it offers huge percent profit due to its low start point. If you're fortunate enough, that will make you rich.

Hey guys, do you buy altcoins which are not top 100 of Coinmarketcap? Isn’t it risky to invest in them? Want to hear your opinion!

If it is a new coin and just started to climb the market and there is a good volume, why not, all coins started from the bottom then they inch their way up, but we need to see what they are bringing to the table first and the community support is strong before we invest to this coins.

Personally, I don't usually limit my decisions on the top 100 alts in any site. Yes it might be a good reference but its not a law that needs to be followed. For me any coin will do as long as it will give me something in return. You should also make your own research on which coin to buy that has the potential to give you profit. Look for indicators like market cap, previous performance in the market, and demand.

I buy coins that are in the top coinmarketcap for long-term investment, it does not require great market knowledge. For more profit, I invest in coins that are not in the top. I use them for short-term trading. But we must not forget that the trade in these coins carries great risks.

I bought such coins. It is very risky. However, earnings from them can be 10 and 20 times the amount you invested in such coins.

Non-top 100 coins are good for trading, but for a long-term investment I choose coins from the top 10.

I think its depending the project, if I see a good project, I will buy their coin as an investment. But I am more focused on ETH for now because of the small risks and very profitable.

Well, I think the risk is still more than you buy coins from the top 10 , I keep at the moment of course may not be the best moments but I think in the future can grow omx, the project has collected a hardcap!

It seems to me to be very careful in investing in coins that are not in the top 100.
Obviously, the market began to rise from the bottom up.
It is much safer to invest in the top 100 coins, but the money that you are willing to risk can be invested in new promising coins.

Sometimes, I spend a little of my capital to try luck with some small Altcoins and the benefit that it has brought for me quite fastly. Maybe multiply 2 or 3 times just after one day but I have also lost a few coins of them because it is not almost traded anymore

May be some Projects inside top 100 in cmc can be also risky if this bear market continues for another 24 months.Even good Projects can be declined as a result of no funds . So current Financial stability of the Projects are highly Important in the selection of Alts to Invest.

Yes, I have invested a couple of times in the  altcoins, which were not seen in the TOP-10. And, I confess, I invested very profitable. As it turned out, the coins are quite promising. Although it was risky.

I don't usually buy those listed in top 100 because it is to hard to take the risk of investing our money in those currency. And I think if you have a hard time to get involved in the currency that has not listed in top one hundred and see how profitable it is in the future I think it will be good to invest to it.

Although this is a big risk, I buy coins that are not in the top 100, but they have a working product and great growth prospects. You need to risk, because you can earn a lot more

I only buy coins with a minimum value product especially coins that can be used to exchange a value from an already existing offline company with track record of success. If such coins are doing - x50 or more in coinmarketcap, then i might just shill it

Yes, I think not very risky, there are very promising coins that are not much more can boast of a large capitalization, such as xyo
Nope, It's too risky to buy not on top because it may happen to fall in it's value .I think there's a lot of potential that affordable right now in altcoins so much better to choose for that.
