Well, there is no real answer for your question, because most of tokens does not worth a penny, but 1 in a hundred will be great in 2019. That is my point.

Yes, I do. For a long-term better to invest in new and small cryptocurrency because its the most profitable. New coins are cheep and you can buy many units for not a lot money – 10-100 satoshi per one coin. After a few years or several months, some project can become popular and successful so your coins will grow and you can sell them 10+ times more expensive. This is a good plan if you are not ready pay a lot money and look into the future.
The hardest it's finding true and promising projects who really wanna implement ideas and working on it. Need to be careful, check official communities, reed White Papers etc. It will reduce risks and increase the chance to find successful projects.
Personally, I work on this principle also and buy not top 100 coins all time not for profit only but for a support real good ideas and true enthusiasts.

I monitor the status of tokens after they are released on the crypto exchange. I analyze their price movements, observe how the token developers support or not support the price level. If I see a positive, then I buy this brand new altcoin, which is not included in the top-1000 altcoins.

Generally I also keep a check of it but majority of those coins are worthless and does not really have any team or the leader which can make those coins successful even after 6 months of time. If I can make some short term profit out of it then I do sell it and move to other coin as those sometimes holding can be very dangerous.

I bought Bitcoin to invest for a long time, and I bought it not to buy with all the money I have, only buy with 40% of the total finances that I have, 60% I save for savings. because of the current market conditions.

So, you trust the most popular cryptocurrency and hesitate to invest in some new but promising tokens? I can say, that this is a mistake. There are many cool altcoins, for instance, Mallcoin and Shivom.

It becomes risky buying such coins in bear cycle. It is always advisable to stay in higher volume coins because they are less likely to lost in thin year. Even if the price drop to all time low they are not going to die like small cap coins. They will still have community support which would be enough to maintain its existence in the market.

in a situation where the market is falling like now even I am afraid to buy altcoins even though they are listed in the 100 best altcoins on the market. I'm afraid the price continues to decline. and it becomes worthless garbage.

Now no altcoin should be bought until unless you are ready to gamble it.

No matter what coin you buy, as long as the bitcoin drops all the coins will fall, instead of buying coins in the ranking will make you safe. In fact, Bitcoin is now insecure. The cryptocurrency market is collapsing.

No, I don't think all coins after 100 ranks are risky! Even within 100 coins, there can be a scam coin too! Because no one knows which coin is going to scam. I think you remembered the Centra coin name! There a lot of good coins to buy and hold which are not on the top 100 list!

It could be pretty dangerous for your portfolio, if you won't be able to make a good investigation. Just be selective with coins in what you are going to invest in and it does not matter, what coins you are going to add.

I'm thinking about starting to do that now. I have friends who in the proper selection of these coins have earned quite a lot at the same time for a very short time. I think it is promising

Hey guys, do you buy altcoins which are not top 100 of Coinmarketcap? Isn’t it risky to invest in them? Want to hear your opinion!

I trust only a few of these coins because so far there is no possibility that I will be able to earn a lot on this. I think that you need a lot of time to make the right choice

It wasn't risky to invest in new ICO most specially the project that supported by the crypto big personalities. They will attract more investors that also support the project. Easy success for that. Top 100 altcoins are not the only opportunity to invest because new altcoins sometimes are much better than the old. Enough analysis and proper handling of emotion with right mindset will lead you into better investment.

Of course it is risky, even more than in the well-known and stable ones, but only thanks to such investors can one find something new and cheap and, most importantly, very promising. After all, many tokens begin their journey from the bottom.

It's risky, but the returns will be higher if the market conditions change. If you really like a project and believe that project has a really good future, its market cap ranking shouldn't be a big deal.

Sometime i invest in project low cap for long investment. But needed to manage the risk. Many point for make sure if that project have a future. Example point: dev, community, long term roadmap, and etc.

Buying a coin in the top 100 position on the market is good as they have already gained roots and making progress but there are equally good new coins that no where near the top 100 yet performing marvelously well. A coin like Lympo had a great rise when it was listed and still making progress by launching its app in the USA.
