nothing wrong with gambling itself actually if you can treat it properly. i mean to make gambling as a way to have fun , get an exclusive entertainment . not to earn money which impossible to do that as our human nature always greedy no matter you won and especially when you lost you would just go mad gambling uncontrolled.

i am not sure about planning before hand while gambling but you have to have a calculation on how much you can lose and plan accordingly and never gamble more than you can lose.

so you need to change your gambling strategy then, you should bring such amount to casino that you can control to lose. but i think it is not only your problem but most of the people cannot control themselves while playing gambling.

It is good you can control your emotion on gambling although sometime you still could not discipline following your rules on playing gambling, if you can do it (full control your self on gambling) you can try same ways for trading always discipline and following rules of trading that be made by your self and it will give you profit from trading at least it is work for me. i think it is one of the most difficult job to control yourself while playing gambling, my personal experience is that tried my best for so many time but cannot succeeded to control my self while playing gambling.

Well i do dude. I agree that no matter how many times we say that we have to have self control when gambling, it's a whole lot different when we're already on the table and placing bets. It's very hard not to get your emotions involved because whether you win or you lose, there's still a reason to gamble more. And i think it would be up to the personality of the gambler if he's responsible enough to know when to stop

Sometimes it's best to take some food that will react your brain into making your more self controlled, some food and drinks can have an impact on your neurotransmitters and make yo more prone to addiction behavior, you should check this out, this is definitely better than having to stop by using pills. The best way to create a new habit (in this case the habit of stopping too much gambling) is by go doing it from free will if that even exists tho but you know what i mean just try to do it yourself without help of nothing external then the new better habit is created.
