holding bitcoin is better than ethereum, because i think bitcoin is very popular to all investors due to its attractive price, 7800$ compare to 330$ of ethereum, it can bring to bitcoiners a very good profits if they dare to trade, and surely bitcoin can rise more than 8000 in this year.

I hold ETH for utility purposes mostly, not as an investment. If I need to participate in an ICO, I exchange relevant amount into ETH.

The recent bitcoin price volatility is particularly large, but the price of eth has been very stable, you choose to buy eth or bitcoin?
 Tongue Tongue Tongue

These two coins are for me the most stable coin to hold. The coins that i have right now is 50% btc 30% eth and 20% other alts. Btc is still number 1 for me

Yeah like you bitcoin occupy mostly my portfolio and just some alts that for long term holding and for day trading. And having more bitcoin really gives me a good profit than anything that's why when bitcoin dumps I'd make sure that I can buy at least some satoshis that I can add up. I'm accumulating as more as I can.

Ethereum is lagging behind Bitcoin in dollar value and has more than halved its Bitcoin price. You could say it has been stable at around $300 the last few weeks only if you disregard its movement relative to Bitcoin.

um! i don't see much of a stability in ethereum price though! it used to be a lot more than this then started creeping down. before all these recent bitcoin rises it was nearly $400 then when bitcoin started its big rally, the price dropped down to $350 and then bitcoin didn't stop there and continued to rise but ETH dropped down lower to $300. well that being a round number resisted a lot specially with the whale manipulation so ETH had a lot of dead cat bounces but it fell to $280 too.

so to answer your question, yeah i am choosing to hodl bitcoin not ether. because i see constant solid rise in long term for bitcoin and i see short term pumps for ether and long term dumps!

I will definitely buy bitcoin. We know that the price of bitcoin now is high enough. I believe that the bitcoin's price in the future can be two times higher than today, so don't hesitate to buy bitcoin now and hold it. The price may goes to the moon someday.
I agree with you . Bitcoin is considered to be the most profitable investment market in the world, as it is a pioneer in the 4.0 industrial revolution. If it is legalized in many large countries, Bitcoin will be considered the most profitable investment.

If you do have the money then why would hesitate or having doubts on choosing if you can have both?. These 2 coins are good for long term and on short term depending on how you do gonna trade it. These two are on the top which we can really expect for it to last for more years to come and would really be a best candidate to make profits on future years to come.If you do only have sufficient amounts to invest then i would still stick to bitcoin rather than on ETH and if i do gain profits then i would buy Eth later on.Rinse and Repeat.

Ive made more profit holding bitcoin than most of my alt coins. My alts have grew alot in price but bitcoin has netted me the most profit to date. I think my timing had everything to do with tbis though, buying in bitcoin at a fairly low price. But at this time, i think you will probably be seeing more profit if you invest into ethereum. As bitcoin seems like its ag its peak. But you never know, bitcoin never stops surprising all the doubters and non believers..

I have a mixture of both. Both I think are very strong long-term coins.
Volatility can be very good though if you're trading, particularly if it's volatility around a stable average.

I am holding both coins since its better to spread your investments on few of them. I believe profit is there to be made since we are still in the beginning of crypto path.

I would go with both,  Bitcoin and ETH.  I could observe both have positive deviation towards its growth. But,  compared to Bitcoin, the growth of ETH is very slow. But still ETH stands on its place in the market.  So I would hold these two.

I like both of them. ethereum is good investment and bitcoin is too. I use eth to send small transaction because the fee is smaller. If I want to send big amount of  money I use bitcoin. The fee is not problem if sending btc in big amount. Eth is good to invest in ICO.However most of my bag is eth.

This two cryptocurrency now is on my wallet let say 50% of btc and 40% ethereum and the rest 10% other altcoin who have potential for gaining in long run. Well, you will not compared this two coins now because they are both high value in crypto market cap it always top of my priority the high price valued cryptocurrency the bitcoin and ethereum. I hope bitcoin price hit 10k$ by the end of this year.

Both are volatile but I think we can sure get a good profit when taken care with cautious when making a trading or invest with it, but right now I am taking chances with bitcoin because it is the leading crypto today with a $7700 value right now that is why I have a 70% money on Bitcoin and 10% goes to ethereum and the 20% are fiat, you should have fiat when the least expected.

I would like to hold 50% bitcoin and 50% ethereum so i don't have risk of losing all my investments if something happened to one of the coin the other price will equalize the price fall. But I think both coins have good future so both will give huge profits to us,these two are the best cryptos of the available cryptos. In recent times the ETH price is very stable so many people will invest on ETH too in the future so it will cause the price increase on ETH too.And bitcoin always the price keeps increasing so it is better to invest and hold both coins.
