Basically gambling is supposed to be for fun but for some persons who have turned it to a money making venture which has in turn taken money from them then it has literally given them but because they are bent on getting the money, most of them do not mind and will keep playing regardless of how much they have lost gambling.

The drive of chasing money for gambling has been one of the reasons most of these people have turned addicts from gambling but if they have played rather for fun maybe they wouldn't have gotten to the point of addiction and as you rightly stated Its mostly common amongst developing countries where the citizens in the bid to make more money will continually indulge in gambling activities with the hope to some day be lucky and win a good amount of money that will transform their lives for the good.

As it should be but gambling becomes that too huge industry because people had treated up the different way on which they are really that doing gambling for the sake of money and not for entertainment  anymore on which we know that it cant really be avoided that peoples mind would really be changing up along the way considering that we could potentially earn money. We do know that money is one of the most important or not rather the most important thing on this world. This is why it wont really be that shocking that people would really be changing up those impressions and would really be that sticking into those ideas that they do have in mind on that recent point on which its not really that something shocking anymore. So in conclusion on which people do mess up
just because of the wrong approach that they do have with gambling.

gambling to some is just means of entertainment and for fun only, but we still have some set of people who sees gambling as mean of earnig money and this are those who come into gambling just to fine means of escaping their financial issues and settling up bills, but in the end, gambling is a high risk thing so they end up alwys getting disappointed and exusted at times.
For me gambling is just for the fun and why i dont gamble every day, i only gamble when i have the chance and most times I rather enjoy watching those playing instead of staking on any of the games.

This is sad but the reality speaks that every gamblers have their own perspective and like what you said above those rich people some of them are playing gambling for fun and not for aiming some profits or earnings . Probably you still gonna do gambling even though you have or dont have sufficient money since it just gonna depends on how you view gambling, is it a way to make money to make a profit? or something that is just for entertainment in your view.
