We mostly lose that winning but can't deny that there are some people who also make a fortune in gambling and become rich. This encouraged gamblers to continue despite countless times of losing.

When I gamble, I'm already prepared to lose my money. Maybe I was stupid because I'm still gambling, but I can't hide from myself that I was trying to find some luck and hoping to win huge that might change my entire life. So I still gamble no matter what until I can no longer make it.

I may not be considered by others as successful gambler because I have losses and win sometimes. But that doesn't mean in my own perspective that I am sad and broke gambler. No, I am not and I am happy to do it from time to time because with all of the success that this world is giving us, we have to find an outlet to release that stress and find some things to make us happy. So, whether I bet for fun or for money, it's all good for me to be honest and that's giving me some satisfaction and happiness after all. And that is because the fun is in it and if I win the bets I make, I look at each of them as successful so definition of it varies per gambler.

Previously when I was a beginner, yes I was interested in gambling because of the desire to make money to increase my income or I mean initially I intended to make gambling as additional income but yes I think you all already know about what happened to me over time, various financial problems such as being in debt and problems in family relationships came over time which in the end made me realize and know that gambling can never be used as a place to make money considering that everything that runs based on probability can never be relied on which instead of producing but instead you will lose a lot of money and you will only realize it when you have experienced a significant downturn.

On the other hand, it does not mean that gambling will never be able to give you some money but in the long run gambling will actually lose more of your money especially if done blindly.

In the thread that you shared here I made a post on it and I chose 'pass the time', I would've chosen 'to make money' but because of my experience that gambling shouldn't basically be for that. From the poll result I could see that more people chose to make money, it could be their driving force for gambling but I wonder if it's working out for them. I believe that if your intention for gambling is to make money but it's not working out, that means that you need to change your main intention. I've not heard of any gambler that wins continuously, meaning that it doesn't matter if your intention is to make money or not.

Gambling to win money does not mean that they will chase it, likewise when saying just for fun does not mean that winning money is not expected.
Gamblers have different initial goals but they hope to make money.

I gamble for fun but also and also get out of stress and win money also in my head but if I can win it will be very fun but if it is the opposite then it is not a problem

Many of us basically make gambling as one of the entertainments but in principle winning (money) is the main target that we want to achieve, so we can say whatever the reason someone plays, of course they just want to target money, but when money becomes the main goal, it actually makes us lose more money in the game, Because indeed the chances for us to lose are actually higher than the chances for us to win so far, but still for those of us involved actually don't care about it as long as gambling can please us although in the end the losses we get.
