I disagree with you on this, why will you say that a gambler must make research before he can become successful in gambling when people play slot games that is purely luck. Also we are gambling for fun and been successful is by being able to limit your losses and gamble responsible, and not by any analysis or research.

Making money from gambling is most of the goals of people who gamble but usually people who have goals like that tend to have serious problems with their finances because their minds drive them to continue gambling without thinking about the risks. As you said with those who gamble without being able to control themselves such as their emotions often do not get any benefit from gambling, I think this is quite real and indeed there are many cases of those who experience large sums of money loss and bankruptcy because they cannot control their emotions when gambling.

And I fully agree with that. I actually hate slots and casino games sometimes and it does feel boring many times too. It's the repeated play that is tiring and that's why I just play it rarely whenever I feel bored. Just to get some fun I guess.

Watching the game with your money on the line is way entertaining and when you love the sport that you are betting on, it's easier to make a pick that might really go your way and win it.
