Betting on sports implies that you use your analytical skills, and gambling in the casino, for the most part, only depends on luck. Most forum users are fairly sensible people, which is probably why they prefer sports betting. I bet on sports and play slots, but slots is an entertainment which allows to distract from reality and relax unlike betting on sports.

Yes, I think we can call it normal here to have sports betting as our priority compare to casino games. Although there are advantage of playing casino games and you can actually win big if you hit that jackpot by X odds. But for the majority who grew up watching or following their favorite sports, it's no brainer that we will go and love sports betting.

It's normal that more people would bet on sports betting while watching their favorite team play. If their favorite team wins, it feels like we are also having fun like what their favorite team experienced and vice versa. And that is different from casino games which also have their own fans because each gambler definitely knows what they choose to play gambling. And recently, we have witnessed the World Cup, which attracted the interest of many fans and course, many people must have bet and voted for their favorite team. I'm curious as to what the ratio is for users on this forum in terms of sports vs casino betting.

I personally gamble on dice, slots and blackjack until the game starts and yes I gamble with very very tiny amounts just to spend time, even if I win I get nothing big and if I lose it's okay too, it's small amount. But, I am not really interested in just waiting for the games to start, I wager on the matches and then go to casino part of the website and start gambling there to spend time.

I gamble in casinos very rarely. And I don't try to make money there. I prefer sports betting and I don't try to make money from it. For me, sports betting is just a fun pastime. If you bet on the victory of your team or athlete, then watching sports is much more interesting.
That is one way to see it, if you enjoy sports already then even if you are not an expert on the topic if you add a little bet to it then you will make the match even more exciting than what it is, many people like to do this and that is why they prefer to gamble at sports bets than in other games, however even if making profits is difficult if you have a deep knowledge about the sport it could at least reduce your losses, something that is not a bad thing as it would allow you to use less money in order to get the entertainment that you are seeking.

Sports cause makes the game more fun, knowledge counts unlike complete randomness of casinos. But, definitely understand those who prefer casino games as they are much more thrilling and you don't have to wait for hours for result.
Sports betting makes the game more interesting because you have an amount to lose when you bet on the losing team. But the same with casinos, the randomness itself made casino games more entertaining. It is like opening Pandora's box which we never know what is inside until we see it.
I am more fond of wagering in a casino than betting in sports for the reason that there are varieties of results in playing in a Casino specifically slots. While sports betting has only two though sportsbooks make odds interesting by adding odds options to the betting game.

and actually casino betting is not a waste of time because they bet there with various skills or out of curiosity to hone their luck there, not to make money.

Its true that it is really interesting on dealing up with some casino games specially into those games who do make out some instantaneous results and this is where most gamblers do much prefer

Casino is larger when we include all the card games, all the lottery and off site possible iterations but of the two I will guess sports due all the fans watching. Neither involves expertise really, the sports bettors most often will bet their own team or some biased view and the casino even card betting wont especially be skilled odds calculated betting, its most all done for fun and a past time hope of riches only in a half serious way.
I wouldn't consider horse and dog racing or cock fighting sport, nor a casino game of any kind, I would simply consider all of these to be animal slavery and a sickening thing at that. As for me, I don't think it really mattered whether my money goes all to the casino or to sports. As long as I can bet and play to relieve myself of the stress of the daily bustle, I'm good. Although as I study my gambling patterns, I find that I subconsciously spend money evenly between the two. Like I somehow know to never favor one bet over the other. I guess this unconscious habit of mine is to be thanked for still relatively staying afloat, not losing too much money and not winning that much either.
