Everyone has their own decision but when it comes to new projects it doesn't always end in a scam,
Of course we need to do research first before joining,
actually it's back again how do we find a really promising project

Irony is that there is no way to detect scam in crypto ecosystem. No matter how rigorous your DYOR is you can still end up in scam trap. But yes you can minimize risk of scam through DYOR. New projects are two edge sword, they can be scam or turn out to be a profitable project Take rik, either you win or learn something.

Till cryptoprojects are mega profitable, there will be a possibility to invest in scam project. Till people is ready to invest in any hype cryptoprojects, there will be scamers ready to take away their money.

Hello everyone, my question is: how often do you invest in new and young projects? Aren't you afraid of losing money if the project closes?

I want to invest in a promising project called Yearnlab. Their token sale starts on 7th Dec and I think this is a good opportunity to successfully invest money.

Share your thoughts on such an investment. Maybe you have some interesting cases on this matter.
No i am not, is topped investing in new projects nowa s i am focusing in the development of older project.
i have been following some old but cheap coins in which more appropriate to invest and safer.
so yes i will not try my luck in some shit project that will mostly end up scam or dead project.

After the recent adjustment of all coins, it is very difficult to say what the vector of the trend will be during the New Year period, as I think. it makes sense to invest after January 15, when the markets open, and before the start of the Chinese New Year. It is as safe as possible. If you want to try your luck, then you can now enter projects.

Investing in a new project will pose a bigger risk because we will never know how far the project will last and whether they will continue to develop the project as written in the whitepaper, honestly so far I have never tried to invest in a new project because I don't have the skills to analyze new projects so well that it makes me hesitate when I want to invest in them.

As investors we must be able to analyze and share good investments, I always divide money for investment into 2 types, namely short-term and long-term with a portion of 65% for popular coins and 35% for new projects, of course we must be careful and can analyze new project before investing.
That seems right, dude. Perhaps, it wasn't a great idea to invest in a single project as the risk is too high compared to if we spread it in different coins. Indeed, research is a must, even we are familiar with the market but still, we need to have this simple step (ain't that simple anyway) in order for us to have some assurance and don't lead us to easily lose.
BTC is still having a big share of my total investment and rarely invests in new projects but of course, why we should have to decline such an opportunity if this NEW project has potential.

just be honest ...
I have never invested in a project, especially a new project because I raised funds from the proceeds of being a bounty hunter and I invested it into several altcoins that are already running and safe in one market. because a new project is very risky to join a new project as well as joining a bounty if you are not careful it will fall on an unprofitable project, it's just that investing must be more careful in investigating the project because of the risks that will be obtained

Now many of the new projects are interested in meme coins. You can invest in meme coins at the initial stage of their promotion, when the hype is just starting to gain momentum. It is necessary to correctly determine the time of profit fixation, as well as to withdraw capital on time, otherwise you can lose money. I don't like to take risks like that. and I like projects more, and those that come for a long time, for example Muzicoin.io. It is a technology created to develop a global phonographic market with the concept of distributing cryptocurrency rewards through music and interactivity on the Muzi platform. Now you can participate in the IEO of this project on the Coinsbit exchange.
Isn't that super scary? I mean sure, you could invest very early on, even before they release, during their IDO or whatever offering method they are using, and after they release you could sell within first hours and make 2x quickly if you are lucky enough. That is all understood and fine but that just doesn't make sense to me at all when we are talking about matter of hours.

I am investing into crypto for profiting in many decades, if I keep doing this per project that means I need to be checking it constantly and being online at all times to make sure that I do not miss out on the best time to sell. It is not the ideal method, but it could be the most profitable method, I wouldn't know since I do not test it. So all in all I would say it is risky and I would advise against it if you are new, or you do not have too much money to afford losing.

It always depends if the project is promising. Meaning I trusted it because of it's good road map, developers, tokenomics, use-cases, etc. I always look also after those projects that are shared to my by my friends since they have groups that are giving effort on researching and looking for good crypto and NFT projects. Of course, if the project doesn't look good for me, I won't invest on it.

I have investment in new projects since 2018 because of the bad experience I had from investing in new projects in year 2017. Some of the projects which I invest my money were announced here in the forum but at the end it all turned out to be scam projects, so am no longer interested in any I will only trade top altcoins now.

It’s a risk, but then you still have to know that even the bigger names that are trending today were once the same as the new projects that you see in the market, and back then no one was sure whether they are going to be successful. So it’s a thing of luck, although there are also some things that can help you determine whether the new coin stands a chance at being successful or not.

I’m usually scared of investing in new coins because of the risk, the few that I have really invested in, I had to follow some procedures to make my selections and the first thing I look at is whitepaper and how good the project is, and the next thing is the team; very important.
There are famous projects today which did start up on having nothing or havent recognized when it is still starting up which means its really hard to recognized it if you wont really make out some i ndepth research thats why its really important on having on this one if you are really looking for
worthy projects but this wont be an easy journey and would be the most tough and challenging of all thats why you should be careful
and keen on making up a selection.

Yes I also invest in new projects because they give a very big discount at the time of presale. I am not afraid to invest in a new project because before investing in a new project I will first check about the project. I will choose a project that has signs of progress in the future, I am not careless in choosing the project that I will invest in. What's more at this point in time most new projects are great to invest in because the tokens they sell are already listed on the exchange.

Never invested before, but now I see new reality, people really earning good money in early investments in projects!

You have made a very right decision for yourself, as new projects really bring a lot of profit. It is enough that one project out of ten brings x10 profit and it compensates for investments in all projects. But this does not mean that it is possible to invest in all projects without a comprehensive analysis of the projects for investment. After all, you are risking your own money.

Yes, I invest in new projects, but with caution, after doing my research and consulting experts. Of course, I am afraid of losing my money, but how can I make a big profit and I am afraid of losing? I think that we all need to go through the experience of investing in new projects, but with an amount we are not afraid to lose because the market is volatile and we cannot predict it.
Do your own research as always and this is something that differs with each person because not all will make and in depth research into a particular project.
Invest on the amount you could afford to lose specially this market had flooded out lots of projects which turns out to be shitty ones.

If you do neglect out on just doing the basics of investment then you would definitely be wasting off your funds.

Investing in a new projects is high risky but you can make good profit if you find a good or successful projects. We know that in this space there lots of new projects are coming everyday. All are not genuine there are some projects are always conducted by the scammers so here we should be more careful to invest news projects.
^ It is very easy to spot if you know how to dig deeper on a new project, it should have a genuine concept that could be useful for everyone, the adoption should be spread out more if the concept of usage is very helpful. But I agree that it is a high risk to invest in a new project because you will never know about their purpose of raising a project. I have encountered as a bounty hunter before, a project that has a promising feature from the start but it ended up scammed after a month of launching.
