It's not surprising that intuition works. It happens that not always, but this does not negate the very fact of intuitive foresight. And of course, intuition can also work for gambling. However, the success of foresight depends very much on the individual characteristics of the individual. Intuition cannot be "pumped up", you can only be born with a highly developed intuition. Personally, I do not have such a quality, or it is weak, so I do not rely on an intuitive hunch before making a bet.
This is an interesting discussion in my opinion, because I myself sometimes listen to my instincts and sometimes ignore my instincts when I am going to gamble or am gambling. When I gamble and experience defeat, my instincts sometimes still push me to continue gambling, but with my brain thinking "it's useless, the results will be the same" this sometimes makes me have a dilemma about which one to follow, sometimes I lose control and what I do is continue the gambling session with the same results, which are disappointing.
In addition, we can learn from what happened before, which is whether we listen to our instincts or not because it will produce results later. Another thing is that I think everyone has been trapped by their own instincts and is in an unfavorable situation.

It could be a coincidence, but it could also do some good work because of how people behave when they want something. If you try to do it most of the time, it shouldn’t be that much work, but you could try to count and know if it is effective.

Relying on this kind of strategy can get really stressful as it might even make you start doubting yourself over time. For regular gamblers, it’s better to have a solid system to follow and only consider instincts as a last resort, or when your system doesn’t give a clear answer for a bet.... honestly, gambling based on emotions is a recipe for disaster. My bets are mostly on sports, so it is very difficult for me to bet on instinct; many of my bets are based purely on technical analysis.
I only rely on instinct when I need to "break a tie" in a technical decision or when the technical data is non-existent or very superficial.
Technical analysis allows me to identify betting opportunities based on historical events, identify factors that can influence the outcome of a game, such as the strength of the squad, home or away performance, weather conditions and even the style of play of each team. There is a lot of useful data that guides me to bet for or against that team in future games. It is impossible to ignore historical data and bet solely based on intuition.
Of course, technical analysis is not infallible because every sport is also unpredictable and there are several other factors that can influence the results of a game, such as injuries to key players, tactical changes and even the element of chance, but I still would not trade a technical analysis for intuition.
There are several interesting books on this topic. They all claim that markets and gambling are counterintuitive and relying on intuition is ridiculous. Also, I remember a quote from a trader and a similar quote from another person, a gambler, who claimed that if you don’t have at least 5 years of gambling experience, then consider that you don’t have intuition. Most likely, in these cases, your intuition is lying to you. You can lose a lot of money by trusting your intuition. Gambling is mostly statistics and precise calculations, not intuition and “instincts”.
this is the exchange of energy that i have experenced and noticed for the majority of my life, its just about the need and want exchange in ones self, from my understanding, example: are you lying to yourself saying you need to win, else all is lost, or are you being honest and truthfull to yourself, not caring about wining or losing becuse theres nothing at "stake" in the moment(mabie have lots of bank).

It will always end in defeat, I bet on sports only with natural instincts that suddenly appear in my mind to bet on certain team that actually does not have big chance of winning and in the end failure is the final result that I have to accept and this happened not only once but several times until I realized that betting does require knowledge and analysis to get good predictions.
Science and knowledge are often underestimated by someone who gambles because they think everything can be won with luck but these people cannot realize that with additional knowledge and knowledge they can create their own luck to win, indeed it cannot be obtained continuously but at least in each betting session they can increase their chances of success.

We need to understand that gambling is all about luck only. No instinct or strategy can make you win the games if your luck isn’t favouring you.
I don't Think so. Why I said this is that most times when you playing lottery, card, dice or number games, you might be triggerd by your instincts to guess a particular number and due to not being sure you might neglect it and when the number of the game happens to play you get mad at your self and thinked why you didn't follow your instincts at the first place . Yes, you can control the influence of the luck by doing sports betting instead of casino gambling. In sports betting some skills are required to predict the outcomes. Here some also bet with instinct but there is always very less chance that you will make profit. So it’s your hard earned money. So gamble responsibly.
Well I think the instinct works more better in the casino or gambling game but not much in the betting game since casino and or gambling Game are more of trying luck and guesting so I instinct is attached than the better betting game that requires good prediction and Proper analysis. Though instinct is attached to betting but not as it is in gambling or casino games. 
At some point, everyone of us have followed our instincts while gambling, yet we still lost. This shows that our instincts are not always effective in influencing our win. The few times we won, it was not because we followed our instincts, luck played out.

I learned a lesson that sometimes our instincts could be wrong and sometimes it will have a perfect prediction. But still, I always try to also listen to my instinct because it could also help at choosing what bet you want.
Analysis in sports betting should not be forgotten though, we cannot just rely on instinct alone and we must enhance our chances of winning by using facts, records, and history. Those things will still be the main ingredient to have a higher winning rate chance.

instinct is extremely unreliable when it comes to gambling and this is coming from someone who has followed their instinct when gambling in the past. while it feels good when you win a bet because you followed your instinct because it gives you a sense of satisfaction where your instinct played a part in your win, it is still no different than not following it especially when you are betting on luck-based games.
When you talk about luck-based games, you can't really have such assurance of winning. Even if your instincts is saying that you will have a very good chance of winning, you still can't count on it.
Yeah, this sounds like a joke. I guess we all listen to our instincts before we place a bet, and usually, that instinct tells us "We will win this time"... And sometimes we are like "Hell yeah, our instinct was right, we need to trust it more". In the next moment, we are losing our balance, but we still hope that our moment is behind the corner.
That's true, I mean gamblers are very superstitious, so we "believed" that our instincts is always correct and so we also listen to them no matter what. And obviously, there are no logic on it but we do go with the flow.
And maybe there are some who won big and says that "hell yeah", I should be doing it. Just like today, there is an itch inside of me, fortunately for me, I didn't listen and decided not to follow because it might turn out to be a bad decision.
Not all the time one instinct will be right, yeah sometimes your instincts can also help in gambling though, just by following it you can make some good wins , but at same time you can also make losses despite following your instincts, so following your instincts doesn't guarantees the game going your way that's why is mainly all about luck .
If the instinct happens to work in some cases, we can just say that it's a little coincidence because there is not real work that instinct has to do in gambling; it's just like guessing some things in your head and putting it into practice by placing bets based on that, which it can only be luck that will determine if you will win the game that day or not, just like it does in every game that you place on using your special skill in analysing them, which luck ends up determining what the outcome will be at the end of the day.

All gamblers decisions were almost 99.999% of the time will be based on the instinct and that's what make the Gambling as entertaining. The only exception can be sports betting but not everyone bet simply based on the odds, there will always be someone who bet against it and those are the people can win big if they win at all and the obvious win games give little rewards only.

In the definition of concepts, instinct is different from prediction. But some details should be clarified as you pointed out. Predictions in gambling are always based on intuition (instinct based) for almost all games. However, there are predictions that can be based on a certain reading or following a certain playing strategy. This can be observed in sports betting in particular.
Personally, I have never thought that I follow my instinct when placing bets. If you don’t gamble with instinct, what do you use to gamble?There’s not much choices we have when it comes to gambling. Especially games that are based on chance or luck alone. There’s no strategy that we could use so all we can depend on is our desire to play a certain game. Of course your instinct will not akways be right. It’s normal. So, don’t get too overconfident.

Your case is very different from mine reason being that following my instincts has helped me a lot to manage my winnings reason most of the times when I failed to follow my instincts, it always resulted in more losses for me and I have now concluded that following my instincts is much better than applying my skills in gambling and for sure I also agree with the notion and advice that we should stick to what works for us and me following my instincts have worked for me much more, and I know that you also is right to have experienced more loses by following your instincts and now relying on your luck to get along with your gambling activities.
Actually currently i didn't believe in anymore my own instinct this because previously i have try to gambling listening my own instinct and the results is quite bad because at that time i was lost all of my money and instinct will be useless to used in gambling especially in sport betting because people cannot be utilize their own instinct when decide to bets on the particular teams because if people did that then most likely they will lost their bets and in sport betting to gets the better results people should have skill to analyzed the condition of the particular team to decide which teams would they picked and not used their own instinct
