I never gamble with instinct, where I have experienced defeat when I have an instinct to bet and 98% will get a win, but it is very painful not the victory that I get but the extraordinary defeat, honestly I am stressed facing that defeat.

You see that certain outcomes are already played out but, you just hope they could do more just because, you missed it the first time. Most times, this does end badly for me.

Sometimes nature has its own way of doing things which we can not understand, it prevents occurrences and also makes things happens positively if only we are very much attentive to some signs it gives out before we taking actions. I don't understand you very well... and unfortunately these are the open topics that take many answers because of their context, there is another thread that I just answered today, the streaks, and I think that a talent is to understand in some way when they are real and when they are not, this can be determined based on statistical data of your game in poker, at least there they exist, now in traditional games I don't know, it's another way of calculating it, I suppose.

It's normal to do so and I do sometimes like having so much instinct about a particular thing like in betting now,trying to stake a game for higher odds and then I bet with amount I can afford to lose, then I hope it eventually turns out big. But on some occasions my instincts works better in giving me just as I thought but sometimes it varies with negative outcome so that's it.

Instincts are just excuses to keep gambling in my situation. I used to believe in those gut feelings too and in those moments where it felt like something was telling me to bet on a certain game or avoid another, bet on a team because you have a feeling they will win or the exact score. When I win I convince myself it was my instinct proving me right. But when I lose I take it as just bad luck or ignore it entirely. Looking back it was part of the cycle that kept me addicted. Guy are sure what you are saying? Whether we have experience and skills, we still move with instinct. Your mind would tell you sometimes that you should play in this way. Even though you have the skills and experience and you have loss with those your acquired skills and experience, you follow your mind to change methods to see if you will win the game and no real gambler will tell me that he or she has not followed his instinct to play gamble. There are some odds we play with our instinct. Instinct are natural.

Exactly. Sometimes your instinct is fear, but they tell us not to give into fear, so what does it mean when you're afraid to bet? Should you not bet because of that, or maybe do the opposite and bet whenever you're the most fearful?
I try to trust my gut feeling to tell me if it's a good time, because for instance in card games you can either count cards or trust yourself. There's no other way to know if you should continue playing or not. You're not going to look at what the guidebook tells you when you have to decide if you want to keep raising the bet or not. There's no time for it.

But how can one just depend on using one's instincts in gambling because when we are talking about instincts, it's literally what comes in our mind at that material time that we feel it is the truth and if we follow it up, we may likely succeed. Regardless of the fact that gambling mostly depends on luck, but it will make no sense to me if someone decides to gamble based on what their instincts feel. We still need to play gamble by following some analysis of the events we want to bet on and not use any form of intuition. However, everyone should gamble with any strategy that works perfectly for them, if you make bets based on intuition and it works often for you, then you continue.

If you are an instinct person, you can lose a huge amount of money. I have seen a friend lose an opportunity to win a lifetime money because he didn't believe in his own predictions, he keeps saying that his instinct was telling him to cash out which was just 3% of what's stake despite having many games and left with two to play, after 2 days, the rest of the games were played and work according to how he expected. I mean he made the predictions, he should have stick to it till the end and not change mind last minute.
