Although today there are many payment services in the form of digital but cash is still a much-needed payment for now because not everyone can receive digital payments and not everyone understands the technology so they still use a payment system that I think is too old.
Absolutely right, yeah digital currency is indeed widely used today, but there are still limits to its use, you can't use it in remote locations or in small shops because they haven't been educated about the digital currency, I still need cash very much
Also, some of them aren't capable of adopting a digital currency perhaps due to lack of capital and incapablity of using electronic means to their area. This is the reason why in my opinion why fiat wouldn't be replaced by digital currency. They can be used both for different purposes.

With my current life style then I used to spend the cash rather than paying digitally more because I really don't want to keep my funds on banks so I will just keep the money as investments and only the money needed for my life will be in wallet,I prefer just to use as physical money because there are still many places in my place won't accept cards.

hence the cash will always be used throughout the world because not all of its citizens use digital currency to pay. and there are not many people who know the digital currency

of course, because the cash has become a daily necessity for making payments, and even when the cash will never die and will always be used everyday

I can do my daily expenses with card only. I've started to use card move often when contactless payment systems came out.

How do you then make transactions that are less than $10 or $5 ? The use of cards is convenient that is certain but some smaller pickups still make one susceptible to using of cash.

We are working on Golden Currency project ( https://goldencurrency.money ), where we issue money that is available both in crypto and in cash form. We find the possibility to use crypto money in cash form as one of advantages. We expect that almost everybody anyway uses cash and in such a case the lack of such opportunity limits the potential use of currency. That's why we started the poll to prove it. Would be glad for your votes and comments regarding your view on such an option.

As of the moment, in my country cryptocurrency was only an options as an extra income or sideline job. It is very seldom for the merchants here   who are accepting it a mode of payment and if ever there is they've only accept Bitcoin or Ethereum only. Unlike in the other country they are very open and crypto was regulated already like in Japan.

Why you cash, when almost every time you get change (and if you pay often, by the end of the week you will have a small sack of coins). Moreover you have to do the calculations every time. Count your cash, count the best combination to get less change and etc. When you can just  put your card to a machine, make a beep and be free.

Currently there is no way to stick only in cryptocurrencies, as we all know the adoption of using cryptos for payment in goods and services are not quite thus its still necessary to have cash.

As of now we cant live without cash, here in our place only few people knew about the existence of crypto. I think its because they are not much updated in the current happenings in the internet and they're just relying on what they watched in tv.

Maybe in the future we can see the progress of how cryptocurrencies influence people especially merchants to use crypto as means of payment.

For daily needs I still use cash until now, Bitcoin for me is to make a profit and exchange it for cash if I'm lucky in trading, because in my country, it's still very rare to find a Bitcoin ATM machine.

We still need cash in terms of paying since let's be honest, not all of the countries can legalize and support Bitcoin that quickly. Changes and developments take time and it is the same for the people to get their trust. Not all of the people in a country that legalized Bitcoin will use it as a payment method that quickly since the first reason is that it is a crypto currency and with a lot of news about people getting scammed because of it even though we already know it is not Bitcoin's fault, they will still get scared. Other reasons? I think lack of information, technology, and knowledge.

Of course I need it in everyday use, the use of cash in our daily lives is a necessity especially when you are living an ordinary life. I think only those people who are already rich enough can afford to live without using cash everyday as they are always use cheque or bank transfers.

It's technically possible to give cash money up, possible to throw it in to the dumpster of history.
I think it is a wet dream of the biggest banks in the world. We can see how cashless society model is being promoted in the mainstream media. This means we as a society, have achieved sufficient technology to implement such model. Question is do we really like to do it?
Or should we do it? Premise is as always, security and ease of use but the other side of this coin is far more important. The control over regular, physical money would be, in fact lost. People would no longer have anything to say when it comes to money creation.
For quite some time, it is no longer necessary to have cash in my country in order to survive. Most of the shops have very small limits for using plastic, limits so small that it safe to assume they are non existent. System is ready to be cashless, it is pushing itself on us. IMO we should be in opposition for our own sake.

Well you can only breeze the gap between cryptocurrency and faint money using the traditional method that is availability of cash at hand and also cryptocurrency available for transaction, but having a machine for that is not yet available except for the bitcoin ATM.

It would have really been nice if we all live in a cashless society but that will be impossible for now due to so many factors and one of the factors is literacy, when you look deep into some parts of the world, the number of illiteracy there is still quite high, how the do you introduce such technology as cryptocurrency to them, and you that is educated enough will have to deal with them in one way or the other everyday of your life, most of them have what you need for your daily life and will only accept fiat as form of tender, so we really can’t do without cash except all purchases and transaction will be done strictly online, which is quite impossible, so yes, I still need cash, so kindly go on with your project.

Absolutely yes, Me and my wife owned a small business printing documents, stickers, t-shirts prints, motor and vehicle decals and anything related to printing. Everyday we encounter so many consumers and even a single one never had any payments of cashless and the likes. Maybe 90% of our city's population do not still know about bitcoin and any other cyrpto currencies. I wanna change this thing, step by step I will make large QR scanner in order for them to wonder- receiving payments at my shop will be available soon and hope it will attract them.

Yes i use cash a lot to buy foods and pay bills etc, because cryptocurrency payments are not yet available in my place and i think it will take sometime before people use crypto as payment in my place. Also for now it is more convenient to use cash because the price of crypto is very volatile.

I always use cash in my daily life, because to be honest in my country the use of cash is still a tradition to buy and sell goods or services and still rarely do non-cash transactions.

It will never be a "tradition", we are already used to that.

Being used and that being a tradition is different. It will never be a tradition it is just that we are used paying with cash. There are no countries looking at paying in cash as a tradition. I think if you say that you rarely pay using non-cash methods then I guess you are from a province of a third world country. I am too and the existence of cryptocurrencies is not that famous to most of the people here.
I agree with you, the use of cash is not a tradition, because it is regulated by the state and must be obeyed by its citizens. so wherever it is used, someone else must accept it. you can imagine if all countries have legalized crypto, of course we can also use it freely

Do you mean, you use or issue crypto currency as a physical note? What is your nature of project. Why should a crypto user come to your service When they can securely have every transaction with blockchain? Now a days, merchants started accepting bitcoin on purchase done with them. So love to hear why i should come to you.
