I have never made a payment using crypto currency because none of the shops in my country accept cryptocurrency payments. I really want to use some of my Bitcoins to pay for all my household needs, but the government in my country has not legalized Bitcoin as a legal tender. I heard that some countries have legalized Bitcoin, people in those countries are very lucky because they can use their Bitcoins to buy anything they want.

Currently, here in our country I have never experience paying in shops or physical store using cryptocurrency as much as I want too but sad to say I haven't encountered any store accepting any crypto token and if ever I've find one I will definitely love to try it. However, in some case I do try to pay using crypto when it comes to example I am buying a token or NFT to my colleagues and friends who use to accept crypto as a mode of payment because they are also a crypto user and we prefer to use a two way crypto transaction nut in terms of buying needs in a physical store I don't try it yet.

I am interested what do you guys use for payments.

I like Litecoin paying the most (superfast and supercheap) but I am not afraid to pay with Bitcoin.

Doing this little research because I am preparing project
I will appreciate honest answers and comments

Thank you

I've never paid anything using bitcoin, and I don't really want to exchange and buy anything using bitcoin, even I find it difficult to make payments in my country using crypto, because the government still prohibits buying goods using crypto.

There are some countries that still placed bans on cryptocurrencies, China dominates that territory at the moment.
Even in Bangladesh, a guy told a story of their friend where they got ripped in a P2P scam by sending them money from the bank of someone else's.

Absolutely Yes! It's easy than banks. Sometimes btc has high fees, so I used xrp or lite coin.

I don't really think that is something I consider for now. every Bitcoin I have is basically for investment. With the little I know about Bitcoin, I don't see myself spending Bitcoin directly in buying anything I can spend Fiat on buying for now except if spending Bitcoin is the only option and I really cannot do without that thing.

I continue to use bitcoin as a personal loan to myself, if I need liquidity I withdraw the amount I need, gradually I put back the amount, thus I avoid asking for loans from the bank, it often happens that I return with the loan earning a lot

Probably most of us use debit cards which we top up with different coins. Mostly im using LTC because of cheap sending costs but sometimes also other currencies. Binance, Crypto.com and others made it much easier for us to spend crypto on everyday things but if you are not short with money, it would be wiser to hold your coins for now since the bull is still not over.

Frankly, I have never used my bitcoin to purchase anything. Came here just to see what other people have been doing with their bitcoins. I might get some ideas. Smiley

Even bitcoin as a representative of crypto does not have an easy position for the payment system, other cryptos also don't seem to have a chance to be used in real cases, quite a few countries also do not have special regulations on crypto but their goods only require cash or pay by credit card, rarely allowing the appearance of crypto wallet addresses. Businesses need a stable amount of money in circulation, instead of looking at the type of money that can increase in the morning but decrease sharply in the afternoon, which is a lot of pressure for them, after all, we are in a state of forced social compliance, can't apply crypto indiscriminately

in my country there is no place to pay for goods using crypto currency, restaurants, kfc, mini markets etc., have not accepted payments in crypto, maybe in a country that has provided a place to be able to pay using crypto, maybe they have done all that, but I personally haven't used crypto payments at all..

in my country I can't use crypto to make purchases, even if I personally even if the government in my country issues a license to pay with crypto, most likely I will never make payments with crypto money, I prefer to pay using fiat currency, I still going to make bitcoin as an asset for myself..

if everyone is willing to accept bitcoin as a means of payment maybe it will be easy to do bitcoin transactions in any form, such as giving wages in the form of bitcoins to workers if they want to actually accept or adopt bitcoin widely, this is waiting for approval from both parties so that the process can be realized.especially payments regarding bitcoin to workers

for a payment regarding crypto we must of course get approval from both parties for the payment process, but for me if there really is someone who wants to accept payments with crypto then I will also do that especially considering the payment is very instant so it is very easy for us to do the process quickly, but this has not been realized where bitcoin is currently not widely adopted among the public

for now, crypto seems to be an amazing investment tool, but we can see that it is still difficult to make payments with cryptocurrencies, this is because in my country there is no clear regulation, even if it is legalized, I think if it is not for urgent needs , then it's a shame to sell, because nowadays we can make a lot of money from crypto

To make payments using crypto is certainly cheaper transaction fees, and stablecoins are my mainstay because it is easier for us to use and does not have a big effect on the price when experiencing an increase or decrease, but for bitcoin and other altcoins it feels very valuable for us to use because for the future there will definitely be an increase so that we can cause very deep regret if the price has become 10x of the value now.

Bitcoin is extremely precious for me to spend.

You are spending fiat though. Why not move everything in Bitcoin then if you consider it to be a currency?

I don't know if this counts as paying with crypto but I bought some gadgets using SLP from Axie Infinity. I had around 40k at that time so I was able to buy 2 phones and a decent laptop. It's a pretty awesome experience, never had any form of investment, it was all pure scholarship so it's basically free money. I haven't found any use for my bitcoins yet though as I feel like it's worth more if I continue hodling bitcoin rather than selling it.

It is cool to pay with cryptocurrency, but I will regret it after paying, because the price of cryptocurrency has risen, I think my payment is not worthwhile. Now I am not in the habit of using cryptocurrency to pay.
Never regret spending your coin in valuable things , remember that crypto is also a Money in which must be spent to circulate , and besides the amount you will use as Fiat if converted in crypto that time is the same .
