Well loteries usually gives us the dream and ilusion to get rich from day to night ,just some achieve it in milions,that plays.
play local lottery everyday, where I live there are so many different type of lotteries and mainly I have chosen 2 and I bet on them everyday, the prize structure is different for how many numbers you get right and although it may look like it's all based on luck.
which I think is right to certain extent but if you keep records and look into them you'll sometimes find patterns which gets repeated and it's not easy because there are so many variations of it but if you spend a little time on it you'll be able to get sure shots at-least 4-5 times in a week.

Well the self control at loteries as gambling is the main secret to avoid loose,the person i know could win even 1 milion and in a month will be poor again has no brain to get big money...
I did play when I was a schoolkid, long time ago. I was living in the Soviet Union and at the time we had only the lotteries held by the state. There was saying at the time, kind of a joke, "Do not gamble with the state!"

I used to gambling at loteries i may say i didnt risked a lot money usually i spended 2 euros up to 5 euros weekly,meaning 20 euros montly,but well i had won some prizes but in the end i may say for personal i lost much more money then earned at this.Soo why people keep buying?Word is facing financial problems but people keep buying these.. did you figured that already?There is some lotery of bitcoin online,where we can buy a ticket and be able to get the prizes ,i mean one trusted not a scam.
yea, i have also spent a lot of money on different sorts of lotteries. i have bought countless lottery tickets in the past with fiat and now i do it with bitcoin. i also have the same experience as you, i have never won anything big and the amount of money that i have spent buying the tickets is more than what i have won in total. so it is a loss after all but it is fun to spend money and maybe win some prizes.

I do play lottery everyday and theres a very low chance of winning the jackpot but sometime I win some of the prize. But still waiting for the BIG ONE. 
i play lottery here on our country own by the government and buy everyday a 20 php (roughly $0.43) ticket with a grand prize of 30 million php ($600,000) minumum and may increase eventually if the prize haven't won on the draw date. but so far never won a single peso (even on their consolation prizes) but i still i don't lose hope that i will win someday 
I won on 3 digit lottery . i won 5.6k php worth of 0.5080 or $120.. i thought its just my lucky day...is that on suertres lotto? i have never tried buying a ticket on that lottery, only on ez2 but still unlucky and never won

You need good balance to buy most of the tickets to have a great winning chance but if you are just depends on pure luck I dont think everyone here will make it anyway. The more balance you have the higher winning chance that you will get
Mostly people waste his/her money on lotteries becase they are aware that they are going to lose.

But it's always interesting to see the people who DO actually end up winning the big jackpot on a scratch off or powerball type of lottery ticket. Where I live it's always funny to see the new person who won, which would either be some hillbilly redneck, a homeless man, or some kid who just turned 18 and decided "what the hell, I'll try it out"...
If you guys have a website that lists the winners of lottery ticket in your area, I would highly recommend checking it out for just a second. To me it's hilarious, and at the same time, it always seems to go to the best person with the most dire situation of why they need the money. Funny how random things work out for some people.

I know a person that spents all his salary of retirement into these loteries and then after win some reinvest and loose all the person asks money to others to eat,why would you spend all money into some dream of big prize?
Because that's the lure of lotto. A small investment for the promise of big profits. However, that person you know is the kind of people doesn't know when to put an end to his loses.
Yikes, that's a pretty harsh gambling addiction your friend has. The most I've ever seen someone spend on the lottery (in this case scratch off's) in one sitting is $300. We were at a bar that sold them, and everyone was laughing so hard at him every time he would ferociously scratch off those things, and then kind of look up with those sad puppy dog eyes, and the look of pure defeat. But, I mean he didn't go on to put his whole salary into them, and knew when to quit. I can't believe someone will go so far as to put everything they have into a lotto. That's just absurd.

I was play lottery but i never won.... i think lottery is not true. is just a design from the site....
