I dont have any desire playing on lotteries because the probability of winning is so little, you might as well save those money you spent daily on buying tickets and then invest them on a much better money making business than trying all your luck on winning the lottery.

This histories of some of you brings the question about if is better to save or invest, now lets suppose your grandmother put those 1000k into bank how much should she had now?Even making small deposits all weeks as play at loteries..
I can say my mother had the numbers of a prize of 200 milion euros, but she didnt registed those ticked, soo family went into depression ,kiding we were saying i could kill you because you forced to use the other ticket then this one, because a 10 euros ticket im not a milionaire but well its life ,first months after that were a pure depresiion thinking i could be sleeping buyin a car ,all things that we can do with money, that isnt work, then we registed all tickets my mother made and repeated those unregisted ticket winner... till today only a red flag on the way.

I do play lotteries of different categories. The biggest prize I won so far was 1000$ but I keep continue playing. It all depends on some lucky day to win and to win it is necessary to play.I will keep playing until I win some jackpot.

Lotterys are probably the hardest game to win. My grandmother was playing lotteries her entire life and the most she won was probably $500 but she probably ended up gambling $10000 to get that.

Yea lottery is like buying money at very high price.

I won once 600€ but i almost spent the same to get it, but then i stopped with lottery.

Now i just play dice games like SatoshiDice! Cheesy

Lets face it, people play lottery games for the jackpot prize, not the secondary outcome.  All lotteries hope you win secondary prizes to keep your interest and purchase more lottery tickets from your winnings.

There are many slot machines with jackpots with extremely horrible odds too, and in fact some have worse overall odds on winning then a lottery.  But the secondary prizes keep them playing the slot machine.

Anyway, lotteries are designed as a get rich quick for the lucky few, and basically entertainment value for the rest.  If your grandmother spent $10,000 on lottery throughout here life, and it brought joy into her life, isn't that what really matters.  There are many things in life in which you spend $10,000 on, and the actual value is worthless.

Personally, I had 5 numbers right on a ticket once, with the very last number being off by 1.  I looked at that ticket over and over hoping that last damn digit would change, the payout was $585.  But yes I still buy lottery ticket from time to time when the jackpots get over $200 million, even knowing the odds, but some lucky person will win (why not me).  Believe me, I am not the only person that plays the lottery for entertainment, and a chance at riches.

Make a 15-20 bet parlay (fair and steady odds), then put 1-5mBTC, and if you win, kaboom, easy money.
No need for random lotteries. Smiley

Lotteries are harder than:
1)Dice
2)Blackjack
3)Roulette

That is in list from the most hard to less hard. Imo

Lottery can is more hard because blackjack you have 50% of possibility to win, lottery depend of many ticket have sell and how many you have buy

Are you for sure? Blackjack will have 50% chance of winning? I dont think so, it will depends on the number in your hand before you busted with the number above 21, the enemy is the dealer and the number that will make its harder

Lotteries aren't a good way to win money, I prefer dice and casino games since the possibility of winning is bigger. I think that most lotteries are a waste of time and money.

Played several online lotteriea and got nothing from it. Guess I'm not lucky wbough or maybe winning is just not for me.

No, you're no necessarily unlucky, it's just that the odds of winning the lottery jackpot are really slim. You have a better chance of being hit by lightning than winning the lottery.

Im sure only who create the loterie and government are getting something on it.Would be great instead you be able to win a prize if you achieve the all numbers required you being able to get interest on your ticket....lets supose euromilions collects 200 milions in a week if they deposit into a bank will generate interest those would be shared with all person who has a ticket from that week, but the ticket prize should be just one not multibets allowed. Those would make the loteries work better and benefict all people instead someone in milions.

Lottery can is more hard because blackjack you have 50% of possibility to win, lottery depend of many ticket have sell and how many you have buy

Blackjack does not have 50% possibility, the house edge where I play blackjack in Las Vegas is 0.457% (Double Deck, 3 to 2 blackjack).

Lotteries do not depend on how many tickets are sold, if you were the only person purchasing a ticket your odds are the same if there where 1,000,000 tickets sold.
The only effect the number of tickets purchase has is the overall jackpot payout, it does not effect the odds.

Using our 5:55 LOTTO game for example: Pick 5 numbers from 55

The overall odds of 1 correct out of 5 is  2.56:1, where the actual odds are 3.02:1
The overall odds of 2 correct out of 5 is 16.68:1, where the actual odds are 17.75:1

Many people get the overall odds and actual odds confused, the only odds that are exactly the same is the jackpot in this case 3,478,761:1.

Bottom line is lotteries odds are high, but not as bad as some slots or Let it Ride games.  All lotteries will tell you the overall chances of winning.

Powerball USA overall odds are 31.85:1 and jackpot is 175,223,510:1 -- this is the reason they can have such large jackpots because its even difficult to win the lower prizes.

A couple years ago, I got pretty hooked on scratch offs (dumbass, I know) ... but when I played my first one, just for the hell of it I won like 50 dollars off the first ticket.  So I thought, what the hell might as well try out some other gas stations and play "for fun" now that I'm in the profit area... next thing I know I lost like $300 worth lol

Lotteries are cool, when they are educational lotteries.. but when you don't know when to walk away your screwed. Now for the online lotteries with btc and stuff, I'm not really sure how that works out.  I would imagine it would be even harder to win/walk away from since your just casually sitting on your computer clicking a button to buy the next ticket.

IMHO lotteries are stupid
