I see a lot of people that do not bother to read the paper,
I try to do max due deligence before buying any coin.

What about you?
Reading  the white paper is a must before I invest in .I can know where is my money go .The only ico without white paper is EOS, I think it should be called scam if it has funded the .largest ico record.

I see the same exact thing and it is mind boggling to me. It is crazy how so many people out there are just throwing money into these ICOs without reading the white papers or doing any bit of due diligence. Any investment needs its proper due diligence, and I think that especially holds true in the cryptocurrency space as there are so many scams out there. But, with that being said, it definitely benefits the people that take the time to research and read white papers in my opinion.

Would take a very stupid person to invest in something he completely doesn't know about. I mean damn! I can't even think of anything more stupid than doing so! Sheesh. If you wanna be greedy, at least do it right. And I don't mean just money investment, i am also referring to time and effort investments. Be it campaigns in social media or here.

The content of every white paper on every ICO is vital to every decisions i make whether I would invest or not.

Reading whitepapers gives you additional information about the project, because announcements mostly can't handle all necessary information, for me, it is very important to read whitepapers, because you might discover critical information that can lead you to invest, or to avoid some projects.

When I am investing my hard earned money, I need to understand my investment asset completely before investing. I always read Whitepaper. You can easily see a difference between the Whitepaper of fake and real project. Sometimes the Whitepaper are way too tough to understand. In such cases I tend to avoid that project. The most important aspect of investing is to invest in something which you understand properly.

Yes that's true that a lot do not read the white paper, I myself admit I don't read the white paper at first because I didn't know what it was until I started reading them when I joined a campaign. And if you really want to know if the ICO would be successful or not I think the first thing you should read is this white paper because it contains mostly the important information you need to know about the project.

Before I can actually consider investing in any ICO, I always ensure that I read the white paper and every reading material that is related to the project for me to understand what the project is about and whether its investing worthy or not. I think reading the white paper before you can actually invest is a wise move, since you get to familiarise yourself with the technology behind the project and the team behind the project. A lot people who don't read white papers are usually those who contact customer service to ask about which wallet to use. For my perspective, reading is best.

I think that's one important thing to do before you invest your hard-earned money.
Unless, you just rely on hearsay, rumors, speculations and the likes surrounding the project.
You should do your own homework. So if anything happens to your investment, that's all you.
No blaming or cursing someone. Or destroying someone else's reputation. It's your own decision in the first place.

Not only should you read the white paper, you should also confirm that the team can develop.

Just because they have titles like "CTO", "Developer", etc., it doesn't mean anything if they cannot prove that they have developed before.  They should have software that you can touch, feel and smell and confirm that they can build something.

It's surprising how many projects cannot prove this.

Writing thousands of lines of code takes much more skill, work and time than to make a nice looking video.

yes my mind set is not looking the team, many people can get the title about this but we need action from this.

Because there is several ICOs which already explaining their plan in the first/top page with detail enough. So no need to read whitepaper more, mostly investor are following the other investors.

Presale is live!
Ofc i do read them. I read everything about an ICO before investing in it. I check their developers and the team behind it. I analyze them. I don't want to waste my money on a scam for sure.

A usual thing, when a project announcement contains only the concept, goals, some general plan and loud claims. In this view, whitepaper is a must, cause it contains the most important details and explanations of how it really works. You may look through the project and be interested, but when you're ready to invest, don't ignore this app

Who ever want to invest in coin for profit will surely read the whitepaper but their are so many users who are working for only bounty coins never check the whitepaper. They are just interested in free coins because as soon as it gets listed they just sell off and take profit. But the real users never invest in a coin without reading whitepaper

I most definitely do. This is why I haven't bought any ICOs since March. Almost all the whitepapers have some items that make me lose confidence. I'm not talking about language or grammar or spelling either. People whose names and experience are different from LinkedIn. Extremely vague wording, with "decentralisation" and "blockchain" thrown in everywhere.

I have only seen ONE whitepaper I really liked recently, and it wasn't even advertised here.

Yeah, I definitely do. But I noticed that the most of them just basically copy paste their content from similar projects.
