I sometimes do, especially when the price gets higher right after. I sometimes convert my BTC to cash in order to purchase useless and impractical things whenever I feel like splurging. There are times when I think about how much I probably could have profit had I not cashed out my BTC but having regrets or thinking about it would lead to nothing. Next time, I should just probably limit my use and stay firm in hodling.

I sold alot of bitcoin when it was less expencive.
I can't say that I regret it because I was forced to do to pay daily expenses. Besides I wasn't expecting the price to reach this level.
What I really regret is not selling but not buying when I had the opportunity but I am always optimistic and there still a chance to recuperate.
People who panic at any crisis and start selling at low prices, those should regret.

Regretting just makes it even worst, you just need to accept the fact and move on and try go earn and gain bitcoin because the possibility that it will still grow is 100% And I think you would end up complaining about the price getting pump up so much and not invest in bitcoin sooner, there is no point in sobbing just go with the flow of bitcoin, And in the past no one knows that the price of bitcoin can surge like this.

I was in on Canarys first batch (2013) of the USB miners and spent 30 BTC for 15 of them and look back at my wallet now shaking my head....

also a few years back I wanted to show my wife that the Bitcoins had value so I paid for our Motel room thru Expedia ...spent .45BTC ...I guess that turned out to be a expensive room..LOL

The last coins I sold was when we hit $5000....so glad I held the rest of what I got. Not sure what I will do with my BCC once Coinbase releases them next month.

Why regret when you get loads of money from selling bitcoin and you can still get bitcoin or take back what you loss in terms of profit, only regret when you gain nothing in return but since selling bitcoin give so much money there no regret in this.

Kinda but not that kind of super solid regret. 50% Nope, Because i have used the money for my family's need and I helped them to the unpaid bills which made me happy and grateful to Bitcoin. 50% Yes, because you missed something-type of regret but not that kind of serious regret, 50% yes Because i missed the opportunity to sell it on higher prices which would give me more cash and help my family more. But hey, it is already done and i don't have fully regret on selling it since that for my personal use and it really helped me a lot, I just didn't sell it for nothing.

So Now, I have learned my lesson and of course other people also to do not hesitate on selling your Bitcoin if it is for your personal use and Decide wisely guys, your hard earned Bitcoin is precious , Bitcoin is volatile but not your decision and needs, Bitcoin's price is unpredictable same as your situation and needs so my advice to other people who are hesitating, Sell it if you need it, do not hesitate. If the only solution for you to have money is on selling Bitcoin, do it.

Obviously, who doesn't regret selling their bitcoin?

But the thing is nobody would have told you with confidence and bet you all their life savings that bitcoin was going to be this high at this current time. So it could have went both ways and it turned out that the holders have been correct.

The rally could ahve ended on $2k if the august 1st events messed up, but it didn't. These were all unpredictable.

Plus, if you had to sell bitcoins for your personal use or an emergency, there was really nothing to avoid it.

Little a bit for sure, who ever say no is lying. Many people are surprised with this bitcoin price, we expected price rise but who thought that we will see so fast rise. I'm a believer and I always was, but I sold many bitcoins before this rise, and I always try to look forward and to not regret for missed opportunities, but there is always but some moments come and I feel a bit disappointed in my decisions, but who knew that it will happen so fast, I thought I will have a lot more time before we pass 1.000$.

Well part of me is regretting that i sold my bitcoin in the past but still if i didn't sell it that time i won't reach on where i am today. Bitcoin price is still increasing and i think it will reach a higher price till the end of 2017 but as the saying say ''live life with no regrets.''
It alright we do mistakes not sometimes but everytime even if your not a klutz were not perfect man. And we didnt know that bitcoin has that potential to grow. Well its understandable why people dont trust bitcoin st first cause its not well credited and safe or can be said legit because it is decentralized. Although if you use it and experience using it you might be overwhelmed of the growing value over a short time in a modern world.

I will regret if I sell BITCOIN too early, I better delay the time to sell BITCOIN at the right time, essentially do not be sneaky sell BITCOIN because bitcoin prices in the market volume specified, so sell casual.

Im just a small dolphin, OP.

I only sold btc to pay my file cloud service. Regretted it, should have used fiat instead.

I also sold some to buy altcoins, but most of those were eventually sold to buy bitcoin back. So no harm here.

Never shorted it in a fiat exchange, though. Been thinking about it, but its too risky.

To be honest, as you can see, the current price of BTC is just unbelievable, have you ever owned some BTCs before? If so, are they still in your wallet? You may be deadly regretable if you already sold them out? I guess.

P.S.: I have an price analysis for today as below.

BTC:
BTC price skyrockets though day traders dump their BTCs out of panic, nevertheless, those new traders rushing into the market are still taking those BTCs over at high levels. Here is my advice: For BTC believers, you can just hold on to your BTCs however the price changes. For day traders, pay special attention to the short-term risks. Once price breaks below MA 5, profit booking should be considered. Nothing will just keep increasing in price without dips, we’ll have another chance to buy BTC in sooner or later.

BCH:
BCH got supported just above the line as I circled yesterday. Today, we saw a violent rally of BCH price which seemed fearless when facing BTC’s astonishing gains, indicating that main funds are determined to protect BCH from dropping. Competitive coins against BTC will have another round of bullish trend when BTC price starts a correction.

LTC:
LTC got a short-term and effective support at current price. A good rally of LTC price is expected when BTC price starts a correction. Also, it’s likely for LTC to continues setting a new all-time high, holding on to your positions is the best strategy for now.

ETC:
ETC price action seems relatively weak. Though forks are coming to ETC like what happened to BTC, the overall environment is changed now. Therefore, ETC is still likely to be oscillating and downward in terms of short-term price trend.

Altcoins:
Those altcoins with support from main funds can be our targets. The astonishing surges in BTC price almost lower all altcoins’ prices, including those with positions set by main funds. Altcoins mentioned above are expected to experience a good rally in price and regain their grounds taken by BTCs. Let’s wait and see.
