With the financial system in place we will continue to see these type of crashes every 10-20 minutes. This is what happens when you have a system that revolves around debt. I know many economists say this is required for growth but I disagree.
2008 I did not know crypto, getting to know it was 2013 when I heard that steam games accept payments with bitcoin. my feeling is just weird because I don't know what the currency is, because what I know is paypal or credit card. but after 2017 and learn more about bitcoin, it turned out to make me feel even more happy.
That year I did not know the crypto currency with all its investments. I knew crypto about 2 years ago, maybe at that time the crypto currency was experiencing extraordinary developments and was very profitable for investors.Bitcoin created after 2008 economic crisis and satoshi think economic system corrupt. Many people laugh when bitcoin created and become news in online media because many people think its digital toy and i am believe many people regret not buying and hold bitcoin at that time
If only i have known early about bitcoin as early as 2008 or even 2010, then i would probably invest in bitcoin and some altcoins because it's the early stage of this breakthrough technology where i think it will bloom in the next couple of years.
unfortunately we were too late know about bitcoin.but i think current condition has same opportunity in 2008 if we courage to buy bitcoin and altcoin.almost all cryptocurrency now in dip, and ready to recovery in near future.

2008/2009 feel like very special year for me, I could feel all the people around me are very different compare to before, they have a lot of worries, I overheard one of my respected senior talking about their worry about their pension, worry about the future generation, worry about their job security, a lot of worry, but as a millennial I have no clue why they're so worry about them.
To flash back it today, I'm still unable to understand all their worries, it may be the reason of age-gap, the one age group that felt stronger came from the older generation.
Well, I would like you to describe what's your feeling about 2008 and why it is so special compare to any other year like 2009,2010,2011 etc.
Also bitcoin was born in this particular year, the emotion must be so strong that it drive Satoshi to finally decide to do it.
All those worries about job security,retirement plans,business growth,future generations(our kids) will gonna chase us untill the rest of our lives.We have to get use to it and fight our way to success.
Back in 2008-2009,I didn't knew that bitcoin existed,I was just a teenager with optimistic thoughts about my future.Everything is really different now,but it will get better.
If I remember it right there is an economy crisis in US at that time and because we are from asian country, we are also affected. Year 2008 im working in an electronics company, I cant forget our manager he gave us a sad news that the owner were going to close his business and we will get half compensation as a regular employee.
During that time im still single hence having no work is not a problem since no one is relying to me. I became interested in fb investment program and tried it, the following year btc were introduced but having no clue what it is I just ignored it. I started engaging myself in btc early 2015 when the value is less than $1k.

Many thanks for every one have helped me joined and teach me how to invest money at bitcoin and altcoin, always got profit with bitcoin and altcoin become asset and could be growing up later, during 2008 I feel bitcoin is nothing but today bitcoin become stronger e digital currency.

That reminds me of how much the price of Bitcoin that time. It seems like people nowadays forget the history of Bitcoin where in it goes up and down every now and then. Yet again it grows too much in this present days and this current dip makes people panic and losses their patience towards cryptocurrency.
In 2018 the monen was very bad for me, in investing in a history of unforgettable 2018 cryptocurrency, much of my capital went down without saying anything but waiting and waiting. I hope that in the future crypto and Bitcoin will be better.

It was quite uneventful for me. I live in a developing country and somewhat insulated from the 2008 crash. It did affected exporters and families that are reliant on remittances, especially those that receive theirs in dollars. But for the rest, it's just the usual plod.
in 2008 the price of krypto was still very low, and so I had not done anything at the time. so now I am also very disappointed that the price of krypto is also cheap that year, but I think that I also still have many opportunities to invest in crypto now, because now the price of krypto is also starting to increase. so I'm sure I will also get more profits in the future.

In march 2008 I read an article on Bear sterns going broke and despite warnings written about exters triangle and process of deleveraging (contagion) I thought it was just a bank trouble not a thing that would propagate to every part of the economy. Pretty much everyone thought that.
My take is that 2008 will repeat, same thing people will be aware and yet drift into troubles of similar or greater magnitude. The reason 2008 is worse next time is they have already done everything possible, nothing is left to do but take the hit. You know this is true because none of the 2008 debt was repaid, it is structural failure patched using band-aid holding it to this day

Very very weird, can you please get your facts straight? Bitcoin what release in January 2009, so how can someone invest in 2008? And remember 2008 was a financial meltdown as far as I can remember. Lehman collapses, many losses their job, it's a hard time for me and my family. Yeah many people who did not invest in 2018 must me sad now because now golden year has begun and it will keep increasing in price 2019 will prove as best year this time, people cant make prediction surely about price but they should have faith and it is only faith and determination which gives us profit at the end after investing so I was confident about my future. I didn't feel the punch of global crisis that time. I was on my third year at the university and my parents were covering all my financial needs. I also do not remember did they compared or not, that was so long time ago actually.
