Psychologically, these people who worry too much about a lot of things and about the future are the people who had an economically bad past which made them afraid of the future. Most of them are afraid to experience the same bad experience so their worries are advance.
personally, these years were special to me, not because of cryptocurrency (I was not yet into it) because financially I was still good. Money was not yet too scarce in my part.

I didn't experience what is in 2008 or even in 2016, I am kind of late a bit on cryptocurrency. I have known cryptocurrency in 2017 and that time Bitcoin was very popular because of a higher value and also this forum because of the Bitcoin earning. So lucky at that time, I feel much better because I know I have always money wherever I go and that is because of bitcoin.

Also bitcoin was born in this particular year, the emotion must be so strong that it drive Satoshi to finally decide to do it.

I could feel that life during that year was too different compared to our current situation. Maybe that's because we have crypto now. I have known bitcoin years after it's released but I'm grateful on how it changed my perspective when it comes to earning and finances.

If I had just met the person that will introduce me to the crypto world in a year 2008, maybe right now, Im already driving my lambo in our own little hometown, Its very unfortunate that Ive known bitcoin in late 2017 and in 2018, cryptocurrency experienced its massive downfall and still ongoing up to these days.

Looking at back at those stock charts, the 2008 crash was nothing compared to the corrections we have seen in crypto. 80% down is just another day in bitcoin world, imagine if that happened in the stock market. There would be panic everywhere and people jumping out of their buildings.

Well i believe people always have a problem and they do worries about their future cause we are educated to make our future great and in fact not everyone could became success in future. I do think 2008 is a great economy problems and i do worry what my future will be. I do believe we should make a goals and make a milestones for all things that we dream of that we wanted to achive in future.

You are lucky that 2018 was the start of your career with bitcoins. and i hope you have entered in the market in the last quater 2018 where by the prices were very low. If you had invested before, then you might have got bitcoins and altcoins at a much higher price and your portfolio may be at a loss in the current time.

No argument there......debt is obviously a general problem these days. But I think millennials have felt the sting most because they never had the opportunity to save like previous generations. It was ~ 2000 or so when wages decoupled from GDP and all economic growth began being swallowed up by bankers. So millennials have never known anything except shit wages and skyrocketing cost of living, in addition to being piled under debt.

I got the first job in 2008 where there was a global economic crisis, so much economic chaos and instability where I was. I never thought about the financial future because of high inflation and bad conditions. In the following year I got to know bitcoin but not interested in learning it, never thinking in the future it will become most popular.

Not everyone on this forum was aware of Bitcoin in 2008 and not everyone
would have been able to see the potential it offered.

The collapse of 2007/2008 hit me very hard, I was just after buying a house
and struggled to pay back my mortgage after I lost my job and had to work
elsewhere with lower wages. I wasnt in a position or in a mindset to think of
anything other than surviving from week to week.

If I had truly known of bitcoin and its goals and technology then I would like
to think I would have got into it.

right, most of them don't know bitcoin at that time. but if we look at history, maybe the people at that time were retired from their jobs, with a very significant price increase. lucky for those like that, to know the technological developments earlier, so they can enjoy the results now

That was the year the global market crashed and taking away the dreams of many people, the financial crisis has taken the entire world by storm and there is nothing you could do about it and many lost their jobs, i had some close friends in US who started driving taxis for a living as they have lost their job and the situation around the world was massive, i really lost a lot of money in stock market at that time and that is the year when the legendary white paper came out.
