Yes. Apparently it was the first time I summed up all my courage and bought some bitcoins. From one of my old friend and started trading with it. One of the best decisions I've made in my life..

As many users, my first earning too was from faucets. Also it's very small transaction which was withdrawn to the blockchain.info wallet. Everything looked like a dream when I got those amounts visible in the wallet. Later on slowly got moved to signature campaign.

Do you remember what it felt like the very first time you sent out a Bitcoin transaction to another address in your life? For some, it might have been an easy thing to do, especially for the geeks who were here when Bitcoin was born and it had not been valued and traded against fiat currency as following soon after, yet for others it can be very confusing to get things right.

Were you filled more with happiness, excitement or fear when you clicked that 'send' button? And in which year was it when that happened? Did it it turn out just fine, did your transaction arrive where intended?
The first time I send bitcoin was December 2016, I sent the bitcoin to my poloniex trading platform for trading. I could remember after try to calculate the amount I want to be in my account and the charge. Then after I click send I went back to my poloniex Account to see if my transactions was successful and when I see that it was successful I feel happy.

Bitcoin- in bullish time
I think the very first transaction that i made is when i paid my friend for allowing me to take loans and i did it using bitcoin. In that time, all i know is to buy bitcoin and just another kind of back up money so i don't know how to grow my bitcoin and i'm just using it as another kind of currency to pay my friends that are far from me.

The first time I made a bitcoin transaction was from my old wallet to my current wallet, and I remember I was hyped and thought that I made much because my wallet didn’t display how much in USD my balance was but when I did send it to my Xapo wallet I was disappointed because it was less than a dollar because I got it all from the faucets.

I forgot actually the right date and exact time regarding on my 1st bitcoin transaction but as far as i remember it is from faucets which i made a transaction to transfer those amounts on my own bitcoin wallet and the truth is i feel soo nervous on my 1st transaction.

Most of the persons when they start in first time transaction mostly they are nervous or excited, because it was experience of online amount transfer and no one like to lose their amount, and also bitcoin amount transaction is not too much popular. So everyone feel excited when they do first time.

I dont feel excited or nervous during my first transaction but I am rather curious as to how the system works. I am very impatient at that time and wanted to absorb the technicalities behind the transactions. It is a pain in the head to understand the technical terms including the hashes ans the algorithms that are being used by the miners and developers. But it was fun and after my successful transfer I become lively and challenged at the same time.
Curiosity can't really be removed and I also test it out on how fast does a bitcoin transfer could be done and you are right it's really pain on the head regarding to those technical stuffs when we encounter it from the very first time.

I could only remember the anxiety of not missing any number in the address or sending  it to wrong address. I sent it to an exchange for trade. it took almost 30min before it was confirmed, I spent all the time reloading the page. It was a funny experience

I really can't remember the very first time that I sent bitcoin. But I remember the first time that where I earned my very first satoshi's. I'm not really into first time's and I don't find it memorable when it comes to this type of transaction. Why would I need to take note and mark the first time I transact with bitcoin and when I did it.
I also forgot the first time I sent/receive bitcoin but I remember how excited I am when I received as well as when I converted it to our local money.
It is just a small amount but that motivates me to earn more and to invest my time here rather than doing social media with nothing in return.

It might not be memorable for me. But I can remember that I was also excited to earn bitcoins by that time. Though I'm earning very tiny amount with faucets still that doesn't make sense for me. And when I found out that I can also exchange it with fiat money, it's the best feeling that I was able to buy some foods from it.

Yes, I think I remember Smiley
I earned some bitcoin in my wallet, and decided to invest in one online business.
At that time, I couldn't pay with my bitcoin funds, so i had to transfer bitcoin through wirvox exchange service to my Paypal account.
It took me a lot money for fees so i learned my lesson well.

I don't remember well, but i think i either deposit to casino or simply transfer my bitcoin to other wallet. And looking at now, bitcoin transaction fees was only about 10K satoshi (less than 300 bytes) and it's equal to $0.1 or less Roll Eyes
Even though bitcoin price at that time was low, but tx fee was very low and transaction got confirmed quickly.

Recently I had a quite scary experience with bitcoin transaction. On Tuesday morning, I sent 0.016 btc with preset default Electrum fee (it was 50 satoshi/byte at the moment). Then after 48 hours of waiting and tracking my transaction on blockchain.info, it suddenly dissapeared and I got a message "Transaction rejected by our node. Reason: Transaction was previously accepted but has been pruned from our database.". I thought the funds should come back to my wallet, but after 72 hours, nothing has changed. I needed to send that amount, so I decided to send it again in another transaction with much higher fee (140sat/byte). After I sent the second transaction, the first one suddenly changed and it showed I have 1 confirmation. I went to check it to blockchain.info and my first transaction was there again, despite the fact they wrote it was removed from their database. Then, after 10mins, both of the transactions were confirmed.. Huh Oh bitcoin, you make my hair go grey. Tongue Roll Eyes

50 satoshi/byte is very low these days, if you checkhttp://bitcoinfees.21.co/, they suggest you to use 180 satoshis/byte instead. Also, i think you should update your Electrum wallet since newest version don't have default fee anymore but user can choose fees with simple horizontal scroll.

Of course I know that page, but I don't check it everytime I need to send something and personally I think that 180 sat/byte is really high fee, especially for smaller transactions. You should use this fee if you want you transaction to be confirmed within one block, so lets say in ten minutes. When I need as fast transaction as this, I check the page and set the fees higher of course. But I just wanted to do a regular transfer and waiting for few hours was okay for me, so no need to set higher fee. But I really didn't expect it will take more than 3 days and that the transaction will be removed from the blockchain.info database. I have the newest version of Electrum installed and yes, there is the scroll option, but it is set on 50 sat by default, which I don't think is sooo incredibly low fee if you want your bitcoins to be transfered within hours.
