Do you remember what it felt like the very first time you sent out a Bitcoin transaction to another address in your life? For some, it might have been an easy thing to do, especially for the geeks who were here when Bitcoin was born and it had not been valued and traded against fiat currency as following soon after, yet for others it can be very confusing to get things right.

Were you filled more with happiness, excitement or fear when you clicked that 'send' button? And in which year was it when that happened? Did it it turn out just fine, did your transaction arrive where intended?

Let me refresh my memory, I remembered the first time I sent a bitcoin transaction was of course the excitement and joy is being there in my heart, it was such a wonderful experience to earn in online in the internet. Then not engage in networking system. So it was very thankful to God during that time.

I can't really remember every details of my first transaction but that was a very small amount when I was very new to bitcoin and was earning through faucets. I wanted to start trading with the little amount which I had earned in faucet. So I sent my bitcoins to them.

Since I had used coinbase, I didn't have to pay fees to the network, that I remember! It was mid 2014 and the bitcoin price was really low at that time. If I had bought some bitcoin that time, I would have become a rich man today!

I don't remember well, but i think i either deposit to casino or simply transfer my bitcoin to other wallet. And looking at now, bitcoin transaction fees was only about 10K satoshi (less than 300 bytes) and it's equal to $0.1 or less Roll Eyes
Even though bitcoin price at that time was low, but tx fee was very low and transaction got confirmed quickly.

Recently I had a quite scary experience with bitcoin transaction. On Tuesday morning, I sent 0.016 btc with preset default Electrum fee (it was 50 satoshi/byte at the moment). Then after 48 hours of waiting and tracking my transaction on blockchain.info, it suddenly dissapeared and I got a message "Transaction rejected by our node. Reason: Transaction was previously accepted but has been pruned from our database.". I thought the funds should come back to my wallet, but after 72 hours, nothing has changed. I needed to send that amount, so I decided to send it again in another transaction with much higher fee (140sat/byte). After I sent the second transaction, the first one suddenly changed and it showed I have 1 confirmation. I went to check it to blockchain.info and my first transaction was there again, despite the fact they wrote it was removed from their database. Then, after 10mins, both of the transactions were confirmed.. Huh Oh bitcoin, you make my hair go grey. Tongue Roll Eyes

50 satoshi/byte is very low these days, if you checkhttp://bitcoinfees.21.co/, they suggest you to use 180 satoshis/byte instead. Also, i think you should update your Electrum wallet since newest version don't have default fee anymore but user can choose fees with simple horizontal scroll.

Yeah I remember, it was not that long ago, 18 months ago and to be honest I was nervous since sending to such a weird address, full of letters and number was new to me, I remember checking the address over and over again and finally I sent the bitcoin, it was not much bitcoin, it was something close to 50mBTC.

I don't remember my first transaction sent. I do remember my first transaction received, however. Someone, I do't know who, sent me small tip of 0.0001.
It was in 2013/14 but certainly not during bitcoin high price period, so BTC back then wasn't that valuable. Still remember fondly this random act of kindness.
People rarely send any tips through Bitcoin network anymore. Fees are killing BTC tipping business.

The first time that I sent a bitcoin is when my cousin borrow some bitcoin because he needed money, I told why does he want bitcoin because I have real money to gave you, though he said he don't want and he wants bitcoin that's why I send him, I was very nervous that I did let him check his address a couple of times. It felt really cool after that and its like you really want to do it again and again.

Not only the first time but every transactions I've ever made, feels something like an o**asm Cheesy especially the part when it says beep!

Wow, okay! The "beep" part is referring to the online wallet on blockchain.info, I suppose?

From the amount of enthusiasm in your post one could guess that you send and receive transactions of very high value... or you just like Bitcoin so much that an incoming transaction of 0.001 makes you go nuts.

I do not remember exactly when I made the first Bitcoin transaction, but it remembers blokchain and you can always see when it was, for that we love this technology, the immutability of the results and complete transparency in operations.

I still remember my first transaction as I sent it to wrong address as it was my first transaction and I was bit confused and by mistake I sent it to some third party, I was fortunate enough that amount was not too big but it made me more focused and now before sending my bitcoins I check and recheck the address as now I cannot afford to loose even a single penny of it.
A lot of new bitcoin users tend to get confused when it comes to sending bitcoin for the first time but luckily for them they don’t have that much at first so it is not a big deals if they got it wrong for the first time that way they can become more cautious when it comes to bitcoin addresses and sending money.

The first time I sent money was to sold my bitcoin to my friend, it was an excited moment and i keep on checking the transaction confirmation, I checked every 5 minutes to see the confirmation, and it arrived to my friend address in 30 minutes, it was a good experience the only trouble was I need to check my friend wallet address few times to make sure I didn't make any mistake

I remember vividly. It was a gaming purchase. I always wanted to buy this particular game and I purchased it with bitcoin. I loved the feeling of it.
Ever since that when I need to buy something digitally I tried to look for bitcoin instead of credit card. Its more secure and much faster. Hell I do not think anyone would use fiat if they knew how easy it is to use bitcoins.

The first time ever i did a bitcoin transaction was when i sent my bitcoins to localbitcoins.com. I was working abroad in Dubai at that time.It took nearly half an hour for the transaction to get completed. I was very much excited and eagerly waited for the result. It was during MAY 2016.The transaction amount was around 0.30 btc.I saw the transaction fees to be low when compared to other currency exchanges.

My first time was in I think 2013 as well. I think I was sending some money to a friend, and before then I had only really received money (I was trying to earn as much as possible). It's funny to look back, I checked about 10 times that the address I copied was indeed the right one, because I was so paranoid that i might lose money by accident. I kept refreshing the page until the transaction was confirmed 😀

I don't have a clear memory of the first time I sent my bitcoin because it was not as exciting and thrilling as the first time I received my very first bitcoin. It dated back when I first joined the bitcoin world and I had no idea of what to do so I tried those typing captchas sites. I didn't earn much but the feeling of getting only just a little amount of money had driven me crazy like I had done something great Grin
