I would like to, but I can't, because my investment in crypto currency isn't big enough to supply my daily needs' costs and potential activities I want to realize.
To quit their job people need to hold several bitcoins, even if it's going to pump 100%-1000% in price futurely. Although bitcoin is a life changer, most people won't be able to achieve the total financial freedom anyway, because it's not that easy to find someone holding 1 bitcoin or more.

How about you? Do you see yourself quitting your day job after this current bullrun? I hope you make enough to start with a business of your own.

it seems like I am forced to continue with my job so far because my current job is able to meet the basic needs of my life, but if I have a lot of advantages from investing in cryptocurrency later, I plan to open my own business and become the boss of my own company.

crypto is addictive...

trust me in a few moments he will be back in crypto again because this is the trend of the future. I will not leave crypto even when I make a lot of money from crypto today, crypto is the future and I will continue to be loyal.

It's all depends on how much of a profit I am able to accumulate after the bullish run. Quitting my day job should mean I have the resources to fund a business of my own that would cover-up for the salary l just relinquished.

But I am certain for sure a whole lot who own reasonable amount of crypto currency in their wallet would consider this after the major bullish spike we are actually expecting sooner than we can imagine
Everyone certainly dreams of having their own business, especially after the bullrun and we get a lot of money where to get the capital to open our own business. but I think I will still make money from the market, because it is a hobby, even though only a small portion of the capital we use for trading or investing

i have no problem of doing them together because crypto investing is not stressful or time comsuming to drop one of them ( my job or crypto investing )

i left out the coins he bought and profited from because it's irrelevant
he invested in ether or etherium ? and you quit on it ? but why when ethers value is doing fine last time but it could also be dumping now like any other crypto but it should be a time to re purchase again

If your job gives a decent pay and covers all the benefits then probably it will be bad choice for you to quit since those benefits are free money. You don't have to put all of your time in bitcoin, just check on it from time to time and you are already good to go, no need to do some kind of compromise.

I would like to build my own company if I have enough capital from cryptocurrency. Now, I am still learning. I am a student in university. I learning business management. When I have enough money from cryptocurrency investment I am planning to buy land and start farm company that produce meat, milk and etc. My goal is to exporting those product. I already have innovation idea to reduce farming cost. I don't like to become an employee forever, I will only become an employee for learning purpose. I know some good altcoins that the price are cheap enough, I see it's great potential so I will put more money on those cryptocurrencies.

"Goldman Sachs banker quits after making millions on cryptocurrency" - That's the headline on one of CNBC article

Quote
~ Aziz McMahon, Goldman’s managing director and head of emerging market sales in London, quit after making millions of pounds from a bet on the digital currency ether, three former employees at the investment bank told CNBC.

~ McMahon is believed to have cashed in at least £10 million ($14 million) worth of cryptocurrency, the sources said.

~ When approached by CNBC, Goldman Sachs confirmed McMahon’s departure but declined to comment any further.

I purposely left out the coins he bought and profited from because it's irrelevant. The guy must be earning big already given his former position but it took investment in cryptocurrency to quit his job.

How about you? Do you see yourself quitting your day job after this current bullrun? I hope you make enough to start with a business of your own.

Well, if you picked the right horse either during the bull run in 2017 or the bull run that was now happening, what kind of job can compete with the returns you could have made in crypto? Imagine you love cartoons and put a million USD into Dogecoin in June 2020, what on earth would you have as your daily job that earned you as much as Dogecoin if you held it for almost a year?

This is what I do. I drink and I know things.
How about you? Do you see yourself quitting your day job after this current bullrun? I hope you make enough to start with a business of your own.

Ah, that's an easy question, at least for me, since I quit my "day job" a long time ago and I'm more than happy that I did it. Cool
IMO the question should be harder like "what if your job is related to cryptocurrency, you will even think about quitting it?" My answer to this question is NO WAY! Grin

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
There are already a lot of people who quitted their job just to focus on cryptocurrency, on my part, I wouldn't do the same thing, I don't have work yet because I am still a student but if ever that I have work now then I don't think that I will quit my job because I think my knowledge about cryptocurrency is not yet enough to be successful on it, maybe in the future if ever that I already know that the knowledge I have now is already good for me to succeed then I will do it just to focus in the crypto community, I know how good to be good in the crypto world.
Unless you have so much bitcoin that you can live out of it for the rest of your life for a price half of what it is right now it does not make sense to quit your job, after all even if bitcoin has been the best investment option since it was created a job gives you benefits like health insurance, retirement fund and other perks that are important and not easy to replace, besides if you keep your job you can keep getting more bitcoin instead of having less which is important as you do not want to sell your bitcoin for a bad price.

Payouts are always different depending on your country, in mine I prefer crypto over jobs because jobs sucks so bad in my country and crypto is paying me more either in bear or bull market so I quit jobs years ago
So you are not among the ones who profited big during this year's bull run. This question I think is targeted at those who invested heavily during the bull run and almost every coin saw a huge growth so if you invested in any coin, chances are you profited big time and whether you want to chance it again or just leave the market now.

I didn't profit too much either during this bull run but I managed to squeeze decent profits and I am not going anywhere any time soon because I am sure the real value of these tokens and coins are much higher so there is a lot of space for growth. People who invested in bitcoins around 2010-11 must have thought that $1k was too big a price for bitcoins. I don't think even a million-dollar per bitcoin is too big given the kind of growth I have seen over years. I am going to stay in the market but maybe after all that is happening, I will be more cautious from here.

I was thinking about quitting my job to spend more time on my own passions and invest more when in 2017 I won a lot of money. The crypto crash in 2018 made me rethink my investment and my work.
I think we should continue to work, a job that we love or match our ability to maintain skills, discipline habits. It is good to educate our children later and labor is not wasted.

I see no reason why I will quit after the bull run, the bull run is yet to start self so nobody knows how things are definitely going to look like but there are still so many years ahead so u don't think there is anything that will currently make me leave cryptocurrency. I know lot's of people will take profit and remove there funds after the bull run but we are different and everybody is having target so as for me am not going to quit cryptocurrency even after the bull run.
Why would quit up into something that can give out the chance for you to make money or income?

Its insensible for you to take such action even if you do know that you can really make out most of it if its done correctly. For those who had secured out profit

before the market crash or serious correction are the ones who had make out some good calls because the market is really on reds now but doesnt mean that
its already over.

Some sees it as an opportunity but some had tended to quit out because they had been badly wrecked on the current situation.

The bull run hasn't yet started. Who want to quit now? Obviously those idiots who believe that Bitcoin is some magic potion which will make them millionaire overnight will be disappointed with the correction. And they will sell their coins at dips. IMO, this is actually good for Bitcoin. If coins remain at the hands of these people, it will be like a ticking timebomb. You never know when these people will dump their coins. Now these coins have moved from noobs to more experienced people and that is good for the overall well being of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin should  hold by those who fully understand the value of this asset. Like what you have said, it's better for those weak investors to throw their coins while the market still in correction period,

Allow those strong holders to keep this coin and let the this situation passed, the cycle will repeat itself and again we will see new bounce to work back again and bring another rise.

Early this year we've seen the best of Bitcoin but it's not the last time we will see that as progress with adoptions continue to wide its scope.

Most beginners think that they will make a quick profit from bitcoin due to its significant bullishness, but they are also unable to hold or understand the correction, so instead of trying to find a solution, they will sell it right away for fear of accepting bigger losses on their portfolio

As a person that have been into crytocurrency for almost five years and have made enough money from it I see no reason of quiting .Many people have already quit due to the recent bear market not knowing that no matter the market situation you can still make money from it either by making a good investment like defi projects or trading of altcoins
The idea is that if you reach a certain level of profit, would you stop, that is the main idea. Let's say you made over a million dollars from bitcoin, you can withdraw it and it will be in your bank account, will you stop? That is the type of question that everyone has in their mind and the answer is never the real answer until you actually do.

I have a friend who started bitcoin trading back in the day 4-5 years ago as well and he started with 16 thousand dollars and reached over 2 million dollars. He was already someone in the finance world and that is why it was easier for him to make that kind of money, he dropped under 2 million recently with these drops but he still has a lot of money. He said he will stop after 1 million but realized he could just put a stop loss at his 1 million and whatever above that he makes will be a profit and can keep going, if it ever drops to 1 million dollars profit for him, he could sell and get out.

After all, Bitcoin doesn't seem to be banking the unbanked anymore so I'm not sure if the fundamental reasons I got involved with Bitcoin even exist today.  I certainly didn't get involved to make bankers' lives easier or enrich Wall Street fund managers, so maybe to some in the community it feels more like Bitcoin quit on us.
After all it was the dream of many including me and believed that BTCitcoin would bank the unbanked even without thinking about the hurdles we had to overcome even to come to a conclusion like that. The fundamentals changed a lot and with changing concept everyone evolved as well and that was the interesting aspect i see in the market  Grin.

The wall street investors are here from the last rally and now their presence can be felt as they are investing billions in the market which was the main driving force behind this years rally and they will book their profit driving the market down. That does not mean that the investors who are in this market will quit after the bull run as majority are here for the long run and not just here for the pump and dump.
