No, doing a real job which is purely related to course that I finished is fulfillment for me. I need a passive income that I know it’s a sure income. I don’t have enough money to start a business of my own. There are so many competitive business owners here in our place, and I do not have enough knowledge about starting my own business. Profit in cryptocurrency is not consistent, you still have days that you might lose. If I still manage to do it in the same time, I still want to do it. I think it will benefit me more rather than sacrificing one of doing cryptocurrency and my current job.

In my past years here in the cryptocurrency in which I've encounter so much bull run and even bear market I didn't manage to quit in cryptocurrency because I've already earning here and even there is a bull run we are still earning very well but it is vice versa when the market becomes bear in which it almost of us will experience an hard loss. Due to this experiences that I've made I didn't consider myself on quitting after this bullrun especially now that we are entering in the bear market situation.

I am afraid not,i dont see any chance of quitting my day job after this current bullrun, due to i just have earned less than $100,000 on this Bull Market. It is far from my goal of financial freedom.

If this is your day job, then it is not your choice to quit though, quitting would be very for the kinds of you who consider trading/investing as their day-job.

well it might be a tempting thing to do, to quit job after this bull run , but then you have to think twice if you really want to quit but if you have planned it long ago and been preparation for your next step, and you have enough money then and only then you could quit.

It's hard for myself to quit, because I have no other job, this is the only job that can make me survive ,, I will quit if the government gives me a job, and I have a monthly salary``

many people leave these jobs and choose to work for real. They choose to work in factories or companies because of the money they earn each month for sure. much different from this job, sometimes working 3 months they don't get anything. patience is the main requirement to work in this place

Payouts are always different depending on your country, in mine I prefer crypto over jobs because jobs sucks so bad in my country and crypto is paying me more either in bear or bull market so I quit jobs years ago
Good for you, in my country the work is exploitative and the benefits aren't even there. And we seem to have the same opinion regarding this because what I get for a month in signature campaign is higher than the minimum wage in my country and I don't have to work as much besides typing posts.

The problem is new generation today can’t never have a job that they can truly enjoy working for because the job market has over the boom and bust period, remember people is rushing to work as internet celebrities too because it’s enjoyable but today it’s over the boom and bust as well, internet celebrities is just another sweat shop occupation, that also include many of those defunct internet porn star, they do not earn as much and also they’re not enjoying their job too, all of them are overrated after a while.

Quitting sounds a bit extreme.  Maybe refocusing one's energy on more fulfilling aspects of life than trying to lift an alternative investment into the stratosphere.  After all, Bitcoin doesn't seem to be banking the unbanked anymore so I'm not sure if the fundamental reasons I got involved with Bitcoin even exist today.  I certainly didn't get involved to make bankers' lives easier or enrich Wall Street fund managers, so maybe to some in the community it feels more like Bitcoin quit on us.

Quiting after you have get used to be with crypto? I think it’s very difficult for you to start a new life again, it’s espeically difficult for me to make change to the comfort zone, bravo to the banker who could quit without second thought, but the banker would have to worry about what to do on his spare time, he might come back and run some project and offer coins who know.

As a person that have been into crytocurrency for almost five years and have made enough money from it I see no reason of quiting .Many people have already quit due to the recent bear market not knowing that no matter the market situation you can still make money from it either by making a good investment like defi projects or trading of altcoins

How about you? Do you see yourself quitting your day job after this current bullrun? I hope you make enough to start with a business of your own.

What's a day job, I never had one, was always working for myself. If your question includes "would you retire" option in it then no, I wouldn't. Tried that before and very quickly got bored doing nothing and just enjoying myself. I find it hard to live when there's nothing to occupy your brain, so I'd continue running businesses I have.

PS Not related to the guy in the article, he's obviously pretty wealthy after such a career even without extra crypto money: I've seen and heard of a lot of people who got rich fast. Yet I don't personally know a single one who had managed to keep that wealth, most of them just wasted it all.

The bear market happened so suddenly that I expect many of us got caught off guard. The drop in prices happened so fast that I didn't sell any coins in time. And now it feels like the prices are too low to sell any of my holdings. Prices my drop more in the future but I will keep holding. So no way I quit after the last bull run. Who knows when the next bull market will come, it could take years again.
Have to be optimistic, the next bull run might surpass the current all time high by a hundred folds and you might be thanking your past self that you didn't sold your bitcoin during the current bear market. Also, I don't see the point of quitting because that would mean that there's no turning back.

The same with me, the pandemic has cost me to loose my part time job and im still a student but have bills to pay and this is also the only job i have available right. i tried looking for other job but its hard, and i hope the knowledge i have about crpytocurrency is enough to get me by. i also hope that this would be a little bit more stable because given that is not yet that normalized in the world.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
Not yet, thanks to bitcoin many opportunities have opened to me which I did not had access before, but we must take into consideration the next, the pandemic is still ongoing and we do not know when this is going to end and having a job now is a blessing, obviously if I had 14 million dollars as the person you bring up on the news I will quit now, but since that is not the case I prefer to keep my job and all the benefits that comes with it.
why get out of this business, while we already recognize the characteristics of bitcoin. that way we can minimize risk and gain profit in order to increase our assets so that we can become people who have achieved financial freedom later, but when you think about it, trading bitcoin seems to have become a hobby for me.
When I posted that I would not quit yet I was referring to my job and not bitcoin, I am never quitting bitcoin, it would be the worst decision of my life if I did something like it, and while I am not the smartest person around the world I can at least understand that much, even if my job is not the best in terms of pay I have good benefits and I treat my bitcoin like an additional retirement account, so I hope I can retire way earlier thanks to that but right now it is not the moment to do anything like it.

I would quit my job if cryptocurrency received worldwide acceptance, be stable or at least less volatile. But that is hard to achieve and it will take ages to achieve. What I dont like in general is a huge volatility. I have a family to feed. During last 2 weeks, my portofolio's value has decreased for 20%. I cant imagine myself going to my kid and saying that now we will wear 20% less of our clothes and we will eat 20% less food. Because an explanation like "you know, that is all because some uncle wrote something on twitter" wont be accepted or understood.
There will be always unpredictable changes in crypto as long as its remain to be volatile and i think we will live for it. So it's really hard to retire from your well paid day job and focus on crypto if you still don't see financial security up to these days.

But i also get to know a person who's brave enough to retire from his job and now fully dependent on crypto. He's already enjoying the luxuries and all the good things in life but this one is definitely a high risk decision. But you will not also experience the best of crypto if you're not willing to take the risk.

No I am not going to be quitting my job anytime soon. I did make some profit from this bull run, though I wouldn’t say that it is enough for me to resign from my job, but it is enough for me to stay laying my path. The money I have made so far from the investment, the profit I have now is enough for me to start up a good business that I can be making side income from, and that’s what I have been working towards.

And maybe from the side business I will be able to raise more money and grow it and then be able to quit from my office job and go into a business of my own full-time. For now I am not going to quit cryptocurrency investment, I am still going to continue with it. I have never had any intention of quitting.
