Ask anyone who failed a pee test for a job or a probation hearing.
Wouldn't that make the laws destructive?

Yes and no are 50/50 at the moment. Kind of surprised considering the "anarchy" theme of this forum.
Exactly at 50% strange.

The whole poll has been ill thought through.

How about add the option "No, not interested."

That way we can say no without running to the law, which currently is the only 'no' option.

The options are a little silly anyway; you must either be in love with it, willing to try it, or so anal about it that you wouldn't want anyone to have it ever.  I'd hardly call that a yes and a no Tongue

Wow, I'm honestly shocked at all the 420 vitriol. I thought you guys were cool man...

SWIM enjoys pot from time to time but usually only when she's with friends or if she's got a day off with no plans. She likes to read, listen to music, and/or cook a feast and eat it veeeeery sloooowly.

The only thing that annoys me about some avid pot smokers is their vehement denial that marijuana can be addictive. They figure as long as they're not sticking a needle in their arm they cannot be considered an addict. The word "addiction" carries so much stigma because of these kinds of misconceptions, one being that it's only reserved for hard drug users and another being that in order to be an addict, you have to hit rock bottom. Rock bottom is the RESULT of addiction, something that can be prevented.

Anyway, I support the legalization of marijuana only because a kid doing a bid for having a gram of pot on him/her is a waste of taxpayer money and law enforcement's time. However, just like with alcohol, hyper-palatable foods, sex, and practically anything that triggers the reward system, pot can be profoundly addictive and destructive. Ask anyone who failed a pee test for a job or a probation hearing.

"So like, why didn't you just stop smoking? It only takes two weeks for THC to leave your body."

"Bro, my guy copped some northern lights and I couldn't resist."

Le sigh.

No one has died from cannabis, ever
Ahem,
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1452117/Cannabis-is-blamed-as-cause-of-mans-death.html
Dank, you seriously need to start opening your eyes. You only want to read and believe the stuff you want to believe in, and ignore all the bad stuff. That's not research.
This is clearly bull.  You would need to smoke over 1000 lbs in 15 minutes to die from cannabis poisoning, I don't think that feat has been accomplished on earth.  Even then, you would die from lack of oxygen before the cannabis killed you.
Weed is the safest drug on earth.  Safer than aspirin, caffeine, even water intoxication kills more people than cannabis, which kills none.
All you ever needed to know:
http://forum.grasscity.com/medical-marijuana-usage-applications/645925-grannys-mmj-list-july-2010.html

True.
It is impossible to die from THC unless you take it with that intention.
There has never been a documented human fatality solely from overdosing on tetrahydrocannabinol or cannabis in its natural form.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetrahydrocannabinol#Toxicity

Contrary to this, aspirin is damn dangerous. Poisoning is frequent. Death may happen.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspirin_poisoning

It's true.

Marijuana has a high lethal dose level.  Alcohol is low.  Cocaine is low and highly variable.  Heroine is low.  Many legal opiodes (synthetic heroin) like Percocet and Oxycodone are low.  LSD is very high, as well, if I remember correctly.
