I think you should stop what you are doing to convince your friend, I can see that you are forcing him and that is not good. I just know that you want to be a good friend, but forcing your friend who doesn't want to is harmful. He is used to and comfortable in the casino he plays in, if you think your friend is enjoying it, let him. We have our own views on life and yours is what you want to explore, what you are doing is not bad if you enjoy it. Maybe your friend is not like that and you need to respect and support him in what he does if he enjoys it.

Your friend has a point. The average gambler wouldn't have a dedicated bankroll that's meant for gambling only anyway, so it's not like they would be able to have a strict budget to be used across all gambling sites that they have frequented over the past few months/years. However, what I wouldn't really recommend is being so sentimental about something that wouldn't even care for you soon as they chew you up and spat you out. I gamble for entertainment and visit sites that have awesome offers in my opinion. I don't stick to one casino per se because it helps me make sure that I keep my options open should things between me and my current casino sour. It also ensures that I don't just build a parasocial relationship with the casino and the folks that built it which your friend clearly has started to create with the casino of his choice as, it's going to foster even more opportunities to be addicted to the casino that he's devoted himself into.

As for UI, let's be real here, a lot of casinos on the market are pretty much cookie-cutter versions of giant casinos like Stake, you wouldn't have a hard time figuring out the things and offerings that they have so getting lost in the UI's going to be the least of his worries when he starts exploring other casinos.

Exactly what I did too, tried at some of the new casinos advertised on these Forums and even with some deposit bonuses given.
Try making a Minimal Deposit to get the Bonus and start playing many games and trying sports betting.

Of course, there will not be much that I deposit (minimum recommended deposit).
Seeing how the rules for using the bonus given, of course it will not be able to be withdrawn before the bonus runs out, and it is just to play.

Then when getting some winnings try the withdrawal system how fast it can be done, it's like trial error at any new casino.

Having VIP at a single casino is attainable but for me it doesn't make sense to have it in several ones.
In order to reach VIP level you have to lose some money if we judge by how chances work. If you get lucky you might not lose much, but let's use Stake's wagering requirement for VIP, 10k USD in value needs to be wagered so even if we take 0 unluckiness into account you'd need to lose ~100 USD to reach it. Frankly speaking, Stake has a generoud VIP program but it's not so generous as to give you more back than what the house edge would take away.

I was actually lucky enough to reach the VIP level on stake without losing money but I understand that this is not realistic to have as an expectation and I didn't rush to reach the VIP level. I just made gambles I'd normally make and reached it very slowly over the span of a few months. TBH it's quite generous for being the first level of the VIP system but now that I reached it I'm bound to stick with stake.

So to answer the question in OP, of course we're not bound to be loyal to a single site, but if we reach VIP in it we're more likely to stay for rakebacks and bonuses. So unless another casino is either doing something very unique or has a significantly lower house edge, I won't switch just to play the same games.

I can't recall how many casinos I have tried out since the beginning of last year alone up to this day, provided that the casino doesn't require me to pass KYC before I can use them and they are somehow connected to this forum. I do try to test them and have first-hand experience with them, and if they don't give me what I want, I end up leaving them just after the first time.
 
I'm a gambler who is not totally loyal to any casino, so I try as much as I can to get fun from any casino I see has a new offer to give to me in my time of need. When I say need, I mean time, and I want to have fun. Try some luck to earn more and also pass my free time.

This is what im doing on which if ever i do have those initial loses on a particular site then i would really be having those impressions that im not lucky into this platform
then i would neither be going back to the current site im dealing with or would really be skipping into another place and so on. Bonuses are traps, they do really just make it

For reasons best known to people they may bluntly refuse to try out new things as this isn't just with casinos alone, there are other things in that some one may not want to choose from because they are not comfortable to try out new things because of their previous experience with others.

When speaking or do talk about testing out new platforms then im really that open for this one on which it would really be basing up into these ff;

1. Mood
2. Good bonuses
3. Good variety of games
4. Good UI/UX

If these things are much better in compared into the current platform that im dealing with, then i would be likely be
that transferring and making it as a new hang out place or something i do spend my time and money on
but it is really that rare because most of new platforms now are almost clone to each other.

I think it depends for me the nature and offerings from the casino although I understand that some new casino are might be a place for scam activities but I would like to believe that even the most prominent casino actually stated from somewhere and was once a new casino and there are more benefits from new casino because they would be looking to draw more persons to their casino so these casino normally run crazy bonus and offerings.

I believe the rigidity of your friend is dependent on his trust. In any case, both parties are right since your friend is not wrong in sticking with the casino that he trusts while you are also correct in trying out new casinos since as you said, he might be missing something that can give him benefits or advantages while gambling.  I also see nothing wrong with inviting your friend to play on other casinos but make sure that you are not too persistent making your friend feel awkward and pressured.

what you mentioned above - checking the social media accounts of the gambling site's owner/s - i guess is not the best way to check the background of the gambling site. besides, very few casinos, if there's any, are disclosing the owner of their site. they may have official social media channels but the owner/s usually is not disclosed. in this forum, the best way to check the reputation is checking the trust summary of their rep as well as reading their respective threads as you can already get very good insights how they are operating as a casino or bookie.

on the note if the OP will convince his friend to try out new sites - better leave his friend alone. there's no convincing needed here. if he doesn't want and just stick to his usual casinos, so be it. let time find a reason for him to try new sites with tempting offers. he may have his reasons. like he already tried it before and got disappointed. and so he doesn't want to try it anymore.

I rarely accept a bonus from a casino as I feel they are mainly bonuses that are for the casino meaning I will likely lose whatever deposit I may make that is tied to the bonus. Once in awhile you read that someone made a load and cleared bonus terms, but it's rare.

I will however try out most casinos that allow me to play. I tend to play wherever I am winning until I start losing, then i'll go try a different place.

I can try new casino if they have new games (it's pretty rare nowadays) or they are offering some bonuses.
Personally, since I am just playing to enjoy some free time, I am always trying to find bonus and not playing with "real money"

I'm always open to a new casino.  If they are brand new I wouldn't sink too much money in right away but that's how the big ones started, as an unknown.  I wouldn't recommend switching all the time, if you do find one you like and are comfortable moving money in and out of its worth sticking with them for the majority of your play.
