No, I think it is not the right time yet to tell it (at least in the country I live).
Here in my country its open to share about bitcoin and my friends are know that i am using bitcoin thats why i am motivating them to use bitcoin also and present gambling if they can afford to gamble there they need to invest in bitcoin,,
Many of my friends dont want bitcoin because its scam but i show them my money in bitcoin that we ca witdraw bitcoin instantly.

Not really.
Why?
Because people are not interesting and don't want to listen.
If I try to explain to hem that Bitcoin can be solution for their financial problems and, in the long term, can help them if they join now, they just laugh.
I just give up.
I talk about Bitcoin now only online, in the groups, forums and chat with other bTC users.
It's waste of time try to talk about Bitcoin in the public.
It's my experience.

Yeeah you can't make people use something or listen to what you say if they themselves aren't ready for this

It depends on the people I'm with. I try to share my knowledge about Bitcoin and try to make it more popular among my friends also by telling them how I use it in my everyday life. But I don't speak about this with people at work because I know majority of them don't support the Bitcoin and I don't trust them.

Of course I do. Talking about something is the best way of advertising it (think about the moment when you heard of Coke's impressive taste, about a delicious food etc.. did you buy it?).

I just don't tell public that I use bitcoin unless people ask me if I use bitcoin or not. Well when friends ask me I tell them I use bitcoin but I don't tell just anyone that I use bitcoin since they don't need to know that I use bitcoin and many people don't now about bitcoin yet. If I tell them I use bitcoin, Ill have to answer a lot of questions and Ill have a hard time answering it all I think.

I do not tell to anyone, why? because in my country, bicoin do not have much use in real life, at least for many people who do not have money to afford to lose, in my case is different, I will give an example, if I want to buy $20 in bitcoin, I deposit $20 on Payza. reaching $19 in Payza. then i use the exchange (X) then use another processor (Y) and the processor (Y) send $14 in bitcoin to my blockchain account.

$50 is minimum wage in my country and I doubt that those who earn minimum wage will want to spend your money buying bitcoin, it is true that has many rich people, but these people do not want something complicated, so do not see the need to tell them about bitcoin.

Bitcoin is for people who have money, it's sad what I'm saying, but it's true, is a technology that not this within the reach of the very poor,

to have notion, for me to use bitcoin in my country, I must pay card of Neteller which costs $ 68 to send by DHL ... of course for me would not be a problem, but for many people this is a problem.

i never tell about my financial condition because I'm afraid of robbers. here if you say you have money, probably vain to kidnap you and if you do not give the ransom money, they will kill you,

Well for me i will choose to share it public so that more people are attracting to use bitcoin and more investors will come if it will happen the price will increase more.  So it is the best to share it to them..

Make them realize that government and the banks won't have any idea that they are transacting (in most cases), and ask your question again.

Cool

I remember someone telling me about Bitcoins, but I didn't let them know that I use them. If I tell someone, I kind of feel that it should be someone I trust.

Is Bitcoin still considered shady in the public opinion or government opinion?

From 2011:
It's not a secret CIA dudes read this forum. I tried for long time to keep my nationality obscured but eventually I've blown it.

I've also found out that Romanian Intelligence Service keeps noting on Romanians that use Bitcoin. Not for the security of the state but for personal reasons. Please note that in Romania, a country with 22.000.000 people there are officially 200.000 mobile phone taps.

I never yet tell to the public that i used bitcoin. But in some friends, relatives and families i did already.
And they are using bitcoin as well.

Yes, but mostly people don't understand what I'm talking about or they just don't care.
It seems people have attitude: ''show me the money'' and after that they will start to believe that Bitcoin is something special and unique.
In fact, most of this people are even afraid to use their credit cards and buy something online, or afraid to change their life.
It's sad but it seems Bitcoin is not for everybody.

There's no reason for me to tell people in public that I'm using Bitcoin and there's also no reason for me not to. Yes, I tell people that I'm using Bitcoin only when we come across in a conversation where we talk about how we earn money. I don't tell it publicly in a manner like yelling, "Hey, everyone! I'm using Bitcoins!!" because that'd be awkward. I don't think using Bitcoin or earning money through Bitcoin is a shady activity although most people ask me if it's really legal.
