Most price crashes are not caused by bounty hunters, majority of them are caused by private investors and even project owners who hold a larger percentage of the project, a private investor that brought a large quantity with 40% discount can sell for 20% profit for quick gain and move to the next. Most times prices crashes before bounty hunters receive tokens

Many projects now offer huge bonuses for investors and some projects also offer several bonus stages in the sales phase, and obviously this can make their token prices dump on the market, I think if 40% is a pretty big bonus and being able  make token dump price in the market, it is better for the team to think of other steps rather than providing a large bonus so that investors will invest.
Reaching exchange with that bonuses is really tempting for early investors to dumped their holdings, opportunities calling them to instead of holding and keeping their coins as a show of support to the projects, this early dumpers can really affect the market value of the tokens, most of the time the blames being point to the bounty hunters but it's just a small portions of the funds coming from the ico sales.

Developers needs to have a setback plans  anticipating this moves from the early investors who got a good amount of bonuses.

It is not. They has to attract early investors in someway and if they promise them instant 40% bonus, then you would not invest? 40% bonus is very interesting offer.

Do you think 40% bonus for early investors is too much and capable of crashing token price?

This is true in some cases, there are teams which locks tokens for bounty but token even so drops dramatically , this can be attributed to bonuses and or other elements who did receive large amounts of tokens like partners. BTW 40% sometimes is not that much, some of teams offer even 100% for early bird investors.

40% bonus is not very good because this can make the price can experience a big decrease when the initial listing. this is making some projects down to -90% in a short time due to a large bonus. dev should be able to do other ways to attract investor appeal besides bonuses above the average

40% bonus for early investors that is too much, one of the reason why the price of a token dump when listed in exchanges. There is nothing we can do if that is their strategy to attract investors with the bonus to invest their project.

not too much, because i see a lot of project give more than 40%
and a lot of project doing this strategy in their crowdsale period

I think this is too huge amount for bonus and I can say impossible digit to be a bonus and as early investors this is not practical and not feasible. Always remember that we are in crypto world to have an business and extra income and we are not giving charity. So I think 40% as a bonus is too much not only in early investors but also in every investors.

40% bonus is too much, and it's enogh to kill your business in the future. The problem happen with weak hand investor, most of them will sell  70% of their token to gain little profit and 30% if token have significant price, or sometimes they sell all token to gain quick profit. I said this is money game, just in my personal opinion.

10% is maximum for early investor, as token holder better to give investor rewards

I think if the bonus for early investors is high, then the risk that the price of a coin after listing will also fall is high. But the price of a coin is also affected by bounty coins, which can lower the price quite strongly, because something many bounty hunters serve all the coins at the first opportunity. I think that a 40% bonus is normal, but for a project it is better if the bonus is lower.

projects with large discounts are not good projects. because they simply need money to grow but underestimate their token. => token price will be undervalued => high probability, the project will not develop tokens anymore.
That's the big problem that always exists in bad ICO projects. We need to dodge or look carefully before buying.

The bonus is very attractive to all who will make an investment when the initial sale begins. actually the bonus can be big but of course the next bonus is calculated and the time prepared. so that it does not end up when it begins to be released on the market, the price is very falling from the price of ico. resulting in investors actually experiencing losses and make investment very disturbed.
but it is better indeed given a reasonable bonus so that it can be enjoyed together.

my question is, 40% is calculated from the total supply of tokens that will be circulated in the market, or 40% of the total investment invested. if 40% of the total investment of an investor, I think it's not too big and reasonable. but if 40% is taken from the total planned token supply, of course it's too big.

40% is a big number for a token sales bonus. This will make the distribution of tokens on the market controlled by several holders. But maybe this is a strategy to attract more investors because when the crypto market is in a bearish position, it is difficult to find investors who are willing to invest in new projects.

In my opinion the developer team has their own consideration why give a 40% bonus. It looks like a big bonus, but investors who take part in presale always wait a long time to sell it. Sometimes the developer team has a policy of locking bonus tokens within a few months, so maybe a 40% bonus is a strategy to attract many investors

I think that as much bonus can be obtained at the beginning of participating in ICO or IEO it is very normal because by giving a bonus it can be used as a sign that investors get appreciation for giving confidence by becoming an investor at an early stage and the project gives an appreciation in the form of bonuses.

some project will give more than 40% mate,, i think its normal for early,
because early investors is the first people's who believe with the project
but in my opinion the bonus should given with locked up period, so the early investors will not dump their bonus
If locking the token bonus will solve the problem of price crashes, then that is fine. But not many team are innovative enough to lock up such tokens.
