BTC ETC EOS LTC ETH DASH MONERO XRP, guess they will be in the market for 5 years. But I think Durov's ICO will take the lead and overtake even ETH cause people will use it in daily life. And many giants like MasterCard will shift to blockchain!

I am sure that the crypto Currency will not go anywhere, but only more and more will begin to spread to all sectors of our life

Yes I really believe that altcoin can last even 20 years or even last forever because most of the profitable altcoins are trusted and supported by so many people world wide due to its great help to so many people in terms of financial stability.

I believe in altcoin ethereum, ripple, litecoin and monero because this altcoin is reliable and I am sure it has a very good prospect that so many people are investing here, and I am sure this altcoin can last for 5 years.

I think that there are some altcoins that can last for five years with the likes of ethereum and litecoin being on that list, then again, there are alot of altcoins that will not. So many of the altcoins that we are seeing now are scams anyways so once the people behind them get the money that they are looking for, most of these projects will crash out before the next five years.

Yes it can last more than 5years (for those with good plan)

but from altcoin development for this year with a very different price far from last year I started to fear altcoin will dim and will disappear in the swallow earth..

Today we face the lack of infrastructure that would allow us to use alts in our everyday life. But the industry has been developing, and I believe we will use them in the future, and thus even in a five years.

Depending on the kind of coins you are hodling. Do you believe in your coins and do you think they have potential? I'm hodling on to ethereum for example, and I have full confidence that even in 10 years, it will still be relevant and probably even doing by far better in the market that it is now. Si, yes, I think altcoins will be relevant in 5 years, but not all.

Altcoins shouldn't be generalized. Coins like Ethereum, XRP, litecoin, EOS, DASH etc gmhabe already attained a degree of stability and sustained growth.
Definitely, every coin out there won't survive the test of time.

With the exception of a few coins, other coins are unlikely to last more than five years, so holding altcoin is not a good option.

Looking at the market cap of the top altcoins now and I think they can really go beyond 5years but not everyone will succeed on this challenges. But since cryptocurrency are slowly adopted by many countries I believe many altcoins will come to replace those who will failed in this market.

How can people say things like this, because even governments want to legalise the cryptocurrency how can they say altcoin can last for next 5 years. Potential coins who are developing the project will always have growth in the future, cryptocurrency will be here forever.

Nobody knows what will happen in the future and what will be the market of crypto currency in such a long period. Personally, I believe that the crypto-currencies and their technologies will develop, but all projects and coins will withstand competition.

Of course they can, maybe not all, because there are such assumptions that most of them will come to naught. But nevertheless you will never know for sure which altcoin is the most promising. If there is a possibility, it is better to invest in several at the same time, and in time you will see everything.

Yes I think it will, because we need more than 5 years to establish the proper attitude towards cryptocurrencies including alternative ones in our Society.

Altcoin is very can for reliable future. with the ability of these developments are able to produce far greater profits in the future. so with this great advantage, it is very capable of bringing Altcoin in the next 5 years to become a valuable coin and a tremendous advantage.

The potential of the technology and use of altcoins within business is undeniable, so much even internationally recognised institutions like the United Nations are taking advantage of its benefits (which can be seen with Ambrosus).

The point is the efficiency, accuracy and transparency achieved with the blockchain solution, would not be possible without it = rock solid use case.

The token itself holds value which is an added incentive for enterprises to adopt the system. This value will obviously increase as more institutions deploy the blockchain solution to improve their supply chain management, causing a network effect. Leaving less of the AMB in circulation (with no more being produced), consequently driving the value of the token up.

With a bit of research I'm confident you will see there is a very bright future in altcoins.

Yeah, most definitely. Altcoins can last for so long, as long as there are different investors all over the world who are willing to invest in different coins. Te more the investors come,, the more altcoins keep blooming. All I'm scared of is that there are lots of scam projects as it stands.

At this point in time.. It depends. So many altcoins are just plain scams and you can really never know for sure if the project will go well or not even if the project looks really good on paper; quite similar to what market will be in 2 years - you can never be 100% sure.
