Bitcoin will most likely not to bring peace but war or disputes. Bitcoin may be one of the best technology invented in the 2000s. However, as time go on, technology become more powerful - China just invented an AI doctor, drones is getting smaller etc. With that saying, Bitcoin is very vulnerable to hackers. Hackers and developers will be having "programming wars" in the far future.
I think yes. Every people love money, especially bitcoin that have high price. That's why i think bitcoin can make world peace. But the price itself will go down because many people will have bitcoin if every people have bitcoin or can go high.

Very philosophical thoughts. No one was gone so away with their thoughts about bitcoin. I think that he has exaggerated a little because bitcoin has not all those qualities. The world is governed by very other things and it will not be bitcoins which will change that. Any how bitcoin is a tool of peace - for this is no doubt - and never will cause a war. No world peace will never fully come and Bitcoin has nothing to do with it, no idea why people think Bitcoin can stop wars but it can't. Ideological differences and still even basic trying to steal their money could happen with bitcoin.
I think there is an idea that if an enemy was invading they wouldn't be able to get your private keys and in the worst case you would lose your key but they wouldn't get it either. Pretty much in a full crypto world say Government A invades government B for their bitcoin, B starts destroying their keys as A is actively conquering them. A can no longer get B's keys but can seize their mining gear and their existing coins become more valuable until they have 51% of the hashrate through physically taking the miners.

I don't see how world peace would ever be achieved so I certainly don't think bitcoin will achieve that, but it certainly has potential to liberate a lot of people from economic slavery or at least save them a lot of money that otherwise would go to banks and extortionate payment processors.
