If it is true that money is the root of all evil and bitcoin is money then this cannot be true. Whether the currency is physical or not is irrelevant. You could argue that it's actually the greed and power that cause war and terrorism. BTC is just another type of money for the power hungry to use as a symbol of status.

no, because btc can not eliminate every single war hungry politician in existence. That would be the only way to create world peace, because as it currently is, politicians (especially US ones) do not want an end to war.

Every day they find a new way to justify their wars, and use scare tactics to keep people thinking they are necessary. I've noticed that they do that a lot, always justify their actions by saying war is going to happen if they dont do this or dont bomb here. Its sickening really.

Yes, it would create an individual differences within the people, and surely it won't contribute anything towards world peace, I don't understand what is the relation or connection between bitcoins and world peace, and it would never contribute towards economy of the country as it is decentralised and no one has control over it.

Poor people will never know about Bitcoin and who knows about it will never be able to get it.
But for rich people Bitcoin is just another thing to play with.

I guess some people see the connection as this: innovations like cryptocurrency take certain powers away from the governments and place certain powers into the hands of the people. Although, I'd have to agree that wars aren't started just because of governments.
