according to Stephen Hawking, mankind will not survive the next 100 years, if we are continuing like today (ok, he promoted to fly to Mars instead, but that will not solve the problems at all..and, frankly, who wants to live deep in the earth, since it’s impossible to live on the surface due to heave cosmic radiation).
So, we shall rather fix current problems very quickly, which are:
1 ) climatic change
2 ) renewable and clean energies
3 ) depletability of resources
4 ) demographic development
5 ) Migration
So, if we can't handle the issues, Bitcoin will be gone as well...

Can you tell Fortune? Why do you think internet will die? However, in one thing you are probably right — I also doubt that Bitcoin will be used in a hundred of years. The blockchain with renewed technologies however, will be used.

Do you have an alternative to internet? Ever since the world wide web was created by Tim Berners-Lee and Robert Cailliau in 1989, there has been no successful attempts to replace it. It has survived for 30 years, almost without any significant competition. I guess in the future also, the status quo is going to continue.
There are many unforeseen future and all we need to do is follow the flow. It may take hundreds of years. It may not be And when it comes to it. Probably we are gone and will become a story. Our children may also follow the paths we take and also order them to be their children.

I think bitcoin will only exist for 25 years. I thought of that because there are still plenty of possibilities to upgrade or replace it by a better one with more layers of security features.
Do you really care about it? OK, if you are a devoted parent you might think that BTC coins that you earned can be used by your kids and grandchildren. However, everything here seems to me so vague. Blockchain will sure live, but as for Bitcoin...Who knows?

Agree with one of the answers (but also questions as well), Bitcoin will survive as long as computer devices & Internet survive, but would it be the form of bitcoin? Or other crypto would replace it?
of course it is, think about other currency it survive more than hundreds of year, because it is useful, it is used for our daily life. so if it was still using after 100 years probably it is still alive and survive. i cant imagine how much the value of it, but sad to think i dont know if im still alive when it reaches 100 years. lol
You're right, maybe 100 years later we're gone, but we believe Bitcoin can be a new payment instrument. if you look at the state of bitcoin today I'm not sure bitcoin coin will last up to 100 years because currently the price of bitcoin tends to decrease, but I still keep a bit bitcoin although I still doubt my current action. hopefully bitcoin can go back like years ago.
Bitcoin will eventually collapse completely and be forgotten. This is a very likely result, but its price bubble may last for a long time and may appear in 100 years.

As I really can't predict the future, I believe that anything can happen within that period, there is a saying that everything thay rises eventually falls, Bitcoin is the major crypto currency at the moment but I believe that as time goes on, another will come which will be more profitable to people and they will flock towards it abandoning bitcoin. To think about whether it will exist 100 years is waste of time in my opinion. The developments in the crypto world are always fast and innovative. Perhaps there will soon be a new development that will replace the crypto currencies as we know today.
