Personally I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that.

What do you guys think? Wink

I will agree with you.Technology is a great payback of the country's progress. Depending on the technology, the country is moving forward. I think all the people are connected with the technology. So, from that point of view, the possibility of money change on digital currency paper.

There were different types of currency and ways in the old days for trading and buying goods and services that we don't even know of until we visit some museums. lol

Paper currency took over and is still around... for now.

Its a gradual phase. I believe the Digital currency can replace the paper. Gradually, thats happening. just a matter of time and the paper Money might be in extinct.

Yes it will. I am starting coinbook.com which is a bitcoin exchange in the United States. For us, digital currency has already replaced paper money. Our lawyers take bitcoin, our accountants take bitcoin, our developers take bitcoin. We are setting up the entire business mainly using bitcoin. I haven't even seen any paper money since the inception of our business.

In my own understanding and perspective there is a great possibility that it can occur where the local currencies can be replace and dominated by electronic coins in the world trade market.
Therefore it will be a good thing and ease the people's life since there will be innovation happen that contributes a good thing in everybody's future.

I do not think this will happen because. Technical coins can not be used on a daily basis. Traditional coins are still suitable for small payments. And every country needs a penny. I think the government will not let this happen

Digital money will eventually replace paper money. The world is gradually moving into a cashless era and that's one aspect that digital money is good at

I think it might in the distant future.. For now, most of us highly rely on physical cash as it is more convenient and practical especially in third world countries.

In my opinion it will never happen that the digital currency will replace the paper money. Because the word it self digital currency its only work in online investment, online banking, online trading and etc. How come if no electricity? What will I do in digital currency, I think it will not exist without electricity. In fact paper money you can always bring it, where you want, you can give it directly when ever you want.
But the digital currency is working by the help of technology & electricity and not all place you can bring it aside of paper money it can easily bring and use it anywhere. Beside until now there several cointries until now not believe in the cyptocurrencies.

Yes, it is possible but it has low chance of happening. Since it bypass tax so it could result to a lot of work and might lose the purpose of bitcoin. Also for it to replace we should have only 1 government to organize it. So it is not possible since each countries have different culture so uniting it might be impossible.

I am not convinced that digital money will use paper money because paper money has its own market and a large number of users even all people use paper money, therefore I am convinced that digital money can never replace digital money

I think it would be much better to talk about major countries like the United States, Russia and other first world countries. I do not see any occurrence in third world countries or even poor countries because of poverty, poor people can not even afford to buy much food and basic commodities, let alone mobile devices that can transact with bitcoin. My suspicion that either money or a good crypto currency will be used. If only the digital currency could replace fiat money, and I do not see it happening at this time.
