Look around you. Digital currency has already started replacing physical cash (by digital cash, I mean VISA/Master/Paypal as well as Bitcoin). For my part, I am using credit card or mobile wallets for more than 99% of my shopping. So it has already happened.

Someday in the distant future there will be a replacement of paper money by electronic or digital. But in the near future this will not happen.
Digital money technologies have not yet been fully developed and studied. Sometimes it seems to me that bitcoin is a large-scale experiment
to test the suitability of digital money in the modern era.

I am sure that the presence of digital currency or cryptocurrency will sooner or later replace paper money, the evidence is the decrease in cash transactions using paper money so that it becomes a strong sign of paper money disappear soon.

It will never happen that the digital currency will replace the paper money. Because the word it self "digital currency" its only work in online investment, online banking, online trading and etc. Aside in paper money you can always bring it, you can always use it every where you want, you can give it directly when ever you want. The digital currency is working by the help of technology and not all place you can bring it aside of paper money it can easily bring and use it aanywhere.
The mass of people believe that the paper we call money is secured by gold or other precious metals, and that gives them value. At the moment, there is no country that has gold coverage  in its currency.Mass reception of a bitcoin by the people will replace paper money.

Yes. That is possible. In fact, there are already many countries, including the Philippines, that use mobile phones to pay for their bills and buy stuff. In addition, using digital currency instead of paper money saves a lot more resources which is efficient for any country.

With such a rapid growth in the popularity of Crypto-currency, I am sure that in the next few years they will completely displace cash.
In the case of uncontrollably high inflation, continuous printing of money will lead to a complete depreciation of the currency and its death as a result. But in the case of the global financial crisis, it will be the crypto-currencies that will mitigate the consequences and become the only alternative to fiat money. This will happen because the Crypto currency is decentralized, not under the control of the states and is regulated by the natural balance of supply and demand:
It is the digital currency that will become the next step in the evolution of money.

Because of the advancement of technology, I think in the near future, BTC will dominate paper currency. BTC only needs to have global acceptance for this to fully happen.

Personally I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that.

What do you guys think? Wink
Yes i agree. Since we are now living in a modern technology wherein most of peoples activities are all done electronically/digitally.

Pretty close poll votes, but I think it is a possibility if the govt allows businesses to accept or transact in Crypto coins. Take Japan for example, the country is technologically advanced which means the majority of the people there have mobile internet AND their govt allows its businesses to accept Bitcoin.

I dont think so. Maybe yes because cryptocurrency has its own volume also maybe when that volume of tokens will raised more and more so it has possibility to produce and to sell more tokens but i still dont believe that bitcoin will be defeated by other cryptocurrency.

It will never replace a real currency for the simple fact that it is more difficult to manage and certainly much less traceable. Furthermore, not all people are within reach of knowing what a digital currency is. Maybe in a not too distant future ... let's say in thirty years
