No, I don't think that will happen.
Because of new circumstances people will need to adjust and e-sports betting will become more popular than it's now but it will not replace regular sports.
People just love sport for a reason and sonet or later we'll get back to normal sport events, matches and championships and that is what people enjoy and want to bet on. I can't imagine that e-sport is only offer that is awailable to us.

Needs long time for eSports gambling to be more popular than normal sports betting. Normal sport betting is still easier to understand for even newbie compared to eSports. I myself not interested in eSports since I knew it for the first time year ago if I recall it correctly. Imho, normal sports gambling will be still leading in the next few decades.
We never know esports is getting pouular now because of the young generation, and they have the upperhand now because of the lock down, sports betting has been on us for so many years before the advent of the internet, but times are changing, there might come a time where Esports leads the betting in the future, the stats never lie.

Esport gambling is growing and growing these days,i remember back time when this is mostly having teen participants and limited mature people but now?they are spreading the world with all generation.
From son/daughter to mother/father and sometimes even Grand parents are going into this.
So basically this will grow but yet?Normal sports betting will remain since majority of people are into physical games.

I agree physical games will be the biggest part in the next decades, but who knows after that. Many folks from the first generations of esports from the 80/90s are still playing today and now have their own kids. Esports will grow over time even more, and with so many viewers already in the big tournaments, gambling will become a huge part of esports. Many esports casinos are using the huge secondary markets for skins and mounts in some games as currency to gamble.
With the growth of the internet, many people, especially younger people, like to play online games than offline games. We might not see some of them are playing traditional games, but they play online games. And that is included with online gambling, which is become popular in this pandemic. So eSport will also grow like the other, and maybe it will use as a gamble for people who want to make money.

Why would need to compare the two? They can both become big and popular without the need on competing these two things.They have different markets yet

When it comes to popularity then theres no doubt that normal sports betting do really have that but we cant deny the fact that esports is becoming more

It is a market share thing. Gambling sites has to look at the latest trends and then they have to gear their operation, based on the latest demand. Go to the majority of the online betting sites that offers online Sports betting and you will only see a small amount of them offering eSport betting.
I think a lot of them do not have experts in eSport that can help them with the fixtures and betting odds, so they simply ignore the shift into eSports. The gaming industry must adapt to the changing needs of the younger generation or they will lose a lot of business and profit to the other sites that are shifting more to eSports.

esport and sport gambling in my opinion have their respective markets and communities. for those who love technology, and modern games, of course esport will be their choice. However, for those who like classic games, then they will tend to choose traditional sport gambling. In customer, esports will continue to grow. More popular or not, I think most esport gambling will follow the trend. There will be a time when the game gets the attention of the audience, at that time maybe the gambling esport will come popular at least until the trend goes down.

The excitement and momemtum is far different between the two sports. Though esports are in great advantage during this lockdown but the normal sports betting is still in the hearts of the players. Some players also not fond of esports, too. Anyway, we can't say who's gonna be popular in the future but as long as there are sports betting in some gambling sites whether it is esports or normal sports, the multiple choice to bet, the better and more fun right?

Esport popularity growing rapidly indeed and following it people who bets for this sport also increase especially when this pandemi still not over yet and most of sports events postponed then Esport could be good alternative to those who still want to make bets but in the future when everything back to normal and pandemic over i think people will back again to sport betting so in my view Esport gambling cannot surpassing sport bets popularity

It could get close, but not more popular.
Every single football game from the main leagues and horse race is with ~1m turnover per market just in Betfair. Smarkets numbers are close too. When you add the bookies like bet365, Pinnacle and so on, the amounts are astonishing.

Highly possible. Yes, there are people that both enjoy normal sports and eSports, but most eSports are easily catered by the young age right now. Most of those young ones are actually influenced at an early age by games played on eSports. Still, it isn't that particularly difficult to watch both, it's just that eSports right now is comparatively growing at a huge rate compared to normal Sports, BUT if you consider how it started from zero, that is completely understandable.

The issue of young and old probably stemmed from the fact that eSports is still young. When compared to sports that were already showing its prowess for a long time right now, it's understandable how both young and old people enjoy it, compared to how eSports is comparatively enjoyed by young. However, such problems would probably move on after a few more decades, when the old is replaced by the new "old". we have the same thoughts . sports has a high number of viewers compare to esports and its not just one sport but many sport have a different set of fans while on esport only few games have a high number of fans .
dota is supposed to be the high watched game for esports but because its first and old now , gamers feel bored and try new games like lol but as soon as people will got bore with it . the viewers can decrease too and will transfer on other more newer games .

If eSport continues to grow well and they can have more events/matches, then it is possible. As we know that many actual sports are delayed during Covid-19, betting on eSport is probably increasing as they have more events/matches. It is the sign that many gamblers prefer joining the betting on eSport than waiting for too long the actual Sports events. Well, I hope the increase in eSport betting not only the Hype during Covid-19 and it will decrease gradually after Covid-19 is over. Anyway, it is good to have many alternatives to betting. The thing that makes me wonder that esport would be more popular in terms of betting is the fact that we are under a pandemic right now and that sports are being stopped. But right now that the sports are resuming, I guess sports would still be more popular than esports.
Esports might gain a lot of viewership in the past but I don't think it would compare to the sports for example like in Basketball. People would bet more in basketball than a LoL match. Esports is still growing, but I think big players in the world of gambling might still stick to sports since people might be scared of what we call match-fixing in esports since it is the scandal of it for a long time now.

The demand between young and old groups of people will only be appreciated when it comes to actual surveys. I guess both eSports and normal Sports betting will be popular on same scenario, because every person has their own preference when it comes to gambling. But for this time that there's a physical distancing to avoid transmission of disease mainly covid-19, I believed eSports gambling is having the advantage as to compare with the normal one.
