Some sections like altcoin discussion is getting out of control with spams and I don't think anyone will read the posts on those section since any useful posts will get buried by lot of useless shit posts in matter of minutes. But if we wanted to help in reducing that spam we can report it to moderator with specific reasons and wait for it to be handled.

Bitcointalk was one of the most informative forum about cryptos but now bounty hunters invaded every sections and its really hard to find something useful for any one who is searching about crypto related but when they have enough time to go through threads then they can find more useful replies and it can be highlighted with number of merits as well.
Majority of people here are bounty hunters. They're here to make something out of this forum. It's quite unfortunate only few are contributing meaningfully to this forum. Anytime Theymos remove altcoin section from bitcointalk forum, there won't be no much posting in this forum

yes that is true, I have been ban once because of not reading post and I was posting out of points so they ban me directly. but now I have corrected my mistakes and I won't try it again I most make sure that I read all post properly so that I can contribute to the post.
That's good for you now that you have read the post. Please consider this as my help for you without asking back for anything. You should minimize your over quoting of a post that has a quote in it. It would only make it worst. People should read the post so that we will know what to post and understand what has been discussed.

I will not agree that this is good advice. Often in the main thread there are side threads and only thanks to quotes someone who reads can understand who you are replying to. Quoting is very important to avoid confusion.

The truth is that when someone opens a new thread, only the first few answers are directly related to the main topic. Further responses are usually only changed responses of other users. At this point I can also belong to the group of people who just change other users answers, because I have to admit that I did not read everything in that thread and this is 3rd page already. However, the freedom of expression of this forum is about being able to speak, and everyone has the right to do so, until he do not violate generally accepted rules. I mean that sometimes we have the impression that someone has not read everything, but the most important thing is to speak in accordance with the topic and the rules accepted here.

90% of the users do not read before writing. If you do, you will get many merits and will be considered a good poster.

I recommend that you just ignore any thread with more than 15 replies. Some very specific threads are an exception to this rule imo. After 15 replies, most of the time, everything was already said and spammers join in
I'm not sure on that point. If I have a doubt on any topic, I usually do a general search and look for answers. The post that I find might have 20 responses and there's a probability that I'd want to contribute to the discussion - just so that I understand it better.

Yeah, just take a look at economics or bitcoin discussion board. There are megathreads with over 30-40 pages of topics like "Will bitcoin price recover?", "Will bitcoin overcome dollar?". Do you think people read 30 pages of bullshit before writing some other bullshit?

Most users don't read anything here. If you read before writing you become a reputable member.

I don't think most people read forums. If they were on the forum, nobody would be spamming. There are so many rules in the forum that if we post them later, there is nothing wrong. There are many sides to the forum we should all post well after the rules. If we post well then we can easily increase our rank.

There are people who are in these forum who have goals to learn but there are also member of this forum have goal to earn profit and it is by joining in bounty and signature campaign. I'm here because of both, I know this forum is the foundation of all learnings about cryptocurrency and I meed to read different posts here. I'm also here to increase the bitcoin that I posses.

There is a division of goal here on this forum and those people who wants to earn an easy profit by joining bounties, provide ideas and knowledge, and learn on mining and creating an altcoin.

And we can only see those people who are on discussion thread and technical ideas who are really reading the forum.

I want say something very important to us, I recently noticed that most people don't read lengthy article on the forum and it makes them posting out of the writeup on the thread. most people barely spend time while reading any post in the forum this has made many of us commenting irrelevantly on most posts.

please before posting READ properly to comprehend the contest of the post before commenting on the forum.

please make a reference to this link here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bad-experience-with-exchanges-5192804

what do you think about this?? please let watch over this

drop your comments and reduce some spamming post.

Sometimes there are topics that go out of context before the guy posted about another similar story then the guy comment on those similar stories until people, giving discussions to a thread that are out of context, it happens so many times usually it happens when the thread is very active, a new story is born out of it.

Yes i agree. There are a lot of people who just open the topic and comment sth to raise activity (which is plain ridiculous). The only thing i don't like about this forum is overview since it takes a long time to find replies...

What are you saying is the truth. I have red comments on some thread that are far from the subject matter. Though moderators are doing good jobs by deleting them. We should keep educating others on this. Gracias!

all we have to do is just to keep track on such people, meanwhile when ever you come across such post delete or report to the moderator at the right corner hand sides.

wow this i m really learning from you all, i think this has opened my eyes and to put more effort to read most post.
i m just coming on this forum and i m luckily to meet this thread

I could actually agree to that. Most of the people here in the forum doesn't care about the information anymore, instead they focus more on the post count. To be honest, there are times when I am already tired and I end up doing the same thing but as much as possible I avoid to so. Let us make sure that whatever we comment or quote on a certain thread is dirrectly relevant and does not use too much flowering words that are not really related to the post.

No, the number of people reading all posts on the forum is very small. I see lots of posts with similar topics. They discussed quite the same problem very enthusiastically and brought a lot of spam to the forum.

I don't think so because there is a lot of threads that is already been duplicated and sometimes a new thread with the same slight discussion is being created.

That is why only few people here are reading the forum and page by page. And not like the others are only reading the last page.

Its general concept on internet that no one reads lengthy blogs, descriptions, and posts. If you want to drive attention to your contents then you have to make your point short and specific else very few will read you.

most members only posting replies for the signature bounty they joined and dont have the time reading all the replies made on that topic. which sometimes lead to same replies evertime.

I'm starting to think that a large number of members here are actually just plain stupid and annoying. How the hell can you reply to something without reading? People do it hey. All the day time. Yesterday I was reading an OP about someone asking about transaction fees. Half of the people posting there did not read and went way off talking about other altcoins and stuff. -_- It really isn't difficult to be active and post things that make sense and be part of the community. Those who don't shouldn't be in signature campaigns. I see shitty work and spamming the same as theft.

You need to ask yourself before posting whether or not you would pay for the post you about to send. If no then do not hit post. I wonder if spammers are happy with their work and post quality? There is no pride with these people. People who post the same thing on mega threads are the worst. If I open a thread and see many people with wearing the same signature as me already posting then I leave and post elsewhere.
Having 5 people with the same signature posting in a row doesn't help. Spammers do not even think this far though.

Why even in this very thread people have already proven the OP and I to be correct. Let us take a look at the most excellent quality examples we have here shame we.....
Very ironic that they in a thread that's against spamming and discussing it.

Keep in mind I am not petty and I actually have very low expectations with post quality but some posts I read make me angry. Someone gets paid the same as me when I put effort in and they just talk utter shit. It's not fair and it is not right. The spammers reduce the longevity of the campaigns. Without them, we could have a signature campaign for years and years.

It is good to have a summary of your thoughts or you want to share on this forum. What I mean is not doing an essay but with sense. You can summary your post with at least important information. I honestly do not have time to read for a long article but I want to learn more.

We have this brilliant person who is very very confused. "It is good to have a summary of your thoughts or you want to share on this forum." This isn't even English it's very broken and almost senseless but let's let it slide. More broken English (letting it slide) Then the user says in the same sentence "I honestly do not have time to read for a long article but I want to learn more. " He does not have time to read? Then why is this user even posting if they don't have time to read? They clearly didn't have time to make sense either. They want to learn more? How will you learn more if you do not have time to read? This post is just nonesense and means nothing.

there is lot of information for learn bitcoin in this site bitcointalk .yes there is lot of traders who participe theirs experience with lot of site (exchange;trade;news......)
bitcointalk is an old site that talk about bitcoin and altcois and lot of economics topics . and there are those who read only ; i mean they do not have an account on the site, for example

This one annoys me. This English is gutter trash and the quality is pond filth. It also looks like a bot could have spun it? A bot with bad English skills..... All this user has done in his most informal post is point out something everyone knows. There is a lot of info on a bitcoin forum?? You don't say? Bitcoin is an old site?? Point out more obvious things please. This comment adds no weight to this thread. It is horrible spam.

I wonder who actually read this.... I know for a fact these two that I have quoted will not come back and reply since they just post anywhere and never return just to make a post count. I wonder if they proud of themselves? HOw does it honestly feel to contribute nothing? Such selfish people are found on this forum.
