Other coins might move faster cause they aren't big enough like Bitcoin or don't have to go through a large team to come to a decision. As a coin becomes bigger and more decentralized, it is going to take more time to come to a decision. There is no alternative to this or a better option without compromising the decentralization.

Well, i think it depends upon the coin and on how they progress in market, not all coins can easily move faster, because even the best coin now too long before they move and there are many ways to consider on this process.

Most of the other coins have no real purpose, and they will be replaced by other coins with no purpose within a few years.

There is always a random coin that is pumped hard and even after dumped hard.  So, if you can ride the wave, you can really make some profits, otherwise will get severely rekt.

Yes, every cryptocurrency have a chance to grow even the new one's but we can't easily predict what kind of coin is because crypto value is very volatile and we dont know yet when it rise back.

Certainly. Fast-growing coins generally have a smaller market capitalization and also try to solve real-world problems, and try to form real-world solutions instead of digital currencies.

So far I can't tell what coin is that to move faster than bitcoin. There are so many coins that have a chance to move forward but we can't see any aggressive more from that coin that will move faster than bitcoin.

Probable. Some Altcoins that move up quickly have a smaller market cap and also tries to solve real-world problems and try to form a real-world solution instead of being a digitized currency. Altcoins that solve these sort of problems gain interest from people very quickly, and when there is more supply, altcoin prices tend to rise very quickly. Another variable that can make altcoins move faster than Bitcoin is their market cap.  For an example, an altcoin sitting a rank 300 compared to Bitcoin at number one. Bitcoin is already peaked, as in there is not much room for Bitcoin's price to grow as it is already so high. On the other hand, the lower ranked coin can have room to grow and might also be called "undervalued" due to its low market cap. A lower market cap with public interest will likely move much faster than Bitcoin...

I don't think so that bitcoin is slow, nor alts can beat in speed because at the spot bitcoin is the most expensive cryptocurrency and in last couple of years if u see the charts you will get to know that no other coin can even come near to the speed of growth bitcoin has.

As I observed if bitcoin is low then all altcoins including ethereum will go low too. Then if bitcoin price increase all alts increases too, so the basis will be in the current bitcoin price I guess.

Yes, bitcoin is very very slow but the fact of being like a "pioneer" today keeps it even high...

I don't think bitcoin is too slow. Yes, bitcoin transaction is slower than Ethereum and other altcoins. But It is improving day by day. Blockchain Network is being fixed to make bitcoin faster.

bitcoin looks move slow because the bitcoin has the big price and we know that bitcoin is the most stable cryptocurrencies in the market, so i think that its looks move slower than other coin because of that, the holder and the buyer of bitcoin will keep the price stable on that price

Do you think that Bitcoin has become too slow to compete with the relatively quick alt coins out there? Is it realty competitive to have a slow community rather than a centralised decision making in development?

In other words, does the community effect of decentralisation enough to counterbalance the difficult decision making processes?

NO, even the other altcoins should go downward the price at this time, so no reason why altcoins going strong because of Bitcoin price too low. Bitcoin is nothing compared with other alts because since before bitcoin is still in the top of value compared to all currency even in a real money and dollar, bitcoin is really amazing value even it is in a lower price this 2018.

About others coins move  I would say I thought it is not moving faster.
every here is launching like 100+different coins and all are selling their coin is less price but because they number of coins are huge...people are confused about any single coin but btc,ltc eth, etc. All the new coins are not improving that  much.
but I think if every launching coin amount discrease then it is possible and also if any coi. gives better opportunity...then.

I think bitcoin is not that slow compared to alts. It just that bitcoin already on the top of all coins which is stabilizing on top and looking for its another development. Bitcoin can be considered mature but still it can't be fully develop.

All I can say is, some people prefer to trade using ETH to other altcoins due to it's fee. Since BTC is that high in price, others chose ETH than BTC, and it really affects the status of BTC, but it doesn't mean that BTC will go down. It's just a matter of what experts call, "correction".

I don't think the community is doing anything to solve the sluggish movement of bitcoins. It is in fact now slower compared to other coins that have lightning abilities. I think people should somehow make a platform for bitcoins to be moved faster than what it is now.

I think that other bitcoin moves faster too but not as fast enough as BTC. Since bitcoin is the most prioritized coin. It is the one the has the fastest move in transactions.
