This year, many icos are entering in some announcement thread here because of new projects comes. And i think not all of them are good. many projects failed to reach even only soft cap because investors chooses different icos so i must say that this year is a bad year for ico.
I do not think this year the ICO market will grow strongly this year. As the ICO market is declining and every day so many ICOs are produced with the same purpose but only very few ICOs are successful and most are failures and scams. Too many ICOs cause market turmoil and investors are confused about investing.

ICO always follow bitcoin and as long bitcoin moving up, ICO will grow up also. Some ICO project already anticipate if bitcoin become slow again by replace it ..

I would call it a realization year for the investors of ICOs. Last year every of ICOs, legit and scam, were funded to their hard cap.

One can not deny the fact that the projects became harder to raise funds for the ICO than last year. But new projects still appear despite the poor market conditions, and when the situation on the market will improve - accordingly, it will become easier for projects to collect soft cap and hard cap, because investors will become more active.
While this year is not the best for the ICO, with each month people invest less, more news about the scam projects. If the situation does not change, then with high probability we are waiting for changes in the processes of the ICO.

It depends on that what do you consider as a “bad year.” If you think about it as a year when crypto will collect significantly less money, then yes, it might be really tough. On the other hand, it motivates teams that would like to enter this market to rethink their strategy, attitude and product to be successful even in this tricky conditions. This means that we will have less garbage ICOs and more serious projects, which does not sound bad at all

my opinion, ICO is still very profitable, some ICOs even make their investors rich in, in my opinion, not because of ICO, but it is because of the developers and some ICO just because of personal interests of the developers.
