To me business is joy and life. I find the transaction very difficult, and it will be more difficult if it is the source of your family. It is possible to lose money at any time and you must use your profits to pay for these people.
Of course I trade for money for my families needs. I don't find trading as a means of fun and entertainment, maybe for other people but not for me. I do trade to earn profits and as part of my families income.
I rarely hear people doing trades for fun or emotional satifications, maybe I hear them more often in gambling, but for trading, I think most or just all traders have a goal to earn a profit, like you to finance your family needs...
Likely, if I'm too damn rich then maybe I'll trade just to satisfy my ego and tell myself I'm doing good. But no, I'm not that rich and money matters here that's why trading alts are too vital for me because in just one wrong move everything will ruin. Besides, I don't want to loss more than what will I gain.
I agree. People like us only focus on money because we are not like those insanely wealthy fat pigs who are not doing a lot of effort to make money but they still have millions sitting in their banks. We still feel satisfaction but it is very , very rare.

Ofcourse, I trade for money. It is the main reason why i trade. To earn good amount of money. So that i can provide all the needs of my family. And have a financial freedom.
When you have got other sources of income then you can trade for emotional satisfaction. But, I am trading for money, as I don't have other sources of income. At this young age, I need a lot of money to support my family. So, If I can some, It would be good for my family.
I'm just like you, I always think of my family's sake as well. I am actually trading for money because I would want to have an emotional satisfaction when I could sustain and provide all our daily necessities. It is an advantage than I still have crypto aside from my job because it makes everything lighter.
For me, of course I will trade for money not for anything else. Trading means business and not an entertainment. My main goal in trading if i were to invest is to earn profits.

I trade because of money and not for personal transactions. Money is a medium of exchange and money is a means for survival therefore money is really important. Trading is treated seriously if you are investing in cryptocurrencies as an extra income or a full time job for others.
Here everyone have Thier own needs to do hard work . No doubt that most of the people here in this field are doing work for the money .Here I myself working here because I want make earnings , but indirectly my work in this field related to my satisfaction because at one side I already made much amount of profit and that earnings are enough for 4-5 years needs of my life , but still here I made a goal to reach at that amount of earnings where I can give a way for the family to enjoy life without hardwork .
So I am not only doing hardwork in trading like things but also giving my hardwork in trading as well as in bounty campaign and in ICOs Investment , so that my earnings remain Always stable even in opposite circumstances ( dump of the market ) .

This is a very interesting piece of article, and I will be on the fence on this one. I think trading for either profit or emotional satisfaction (which I want to believe is entertainment, and not sadness) would be as a result of one's current realities. If you are already rich or wealthy or well of or comfortable with your current financial status, then I can understand why for you trading can be for fun. Just like the rich folks who go to the horse race tracks. However, if this is your everyday earn meat, your path of make or break, it is definitely to make money; I don't see why such people will waste their times on a 49% chance of loosing most of the times, when their very livelihood depends on it.
When I trade I feel both, I trade because I want to earn from it while earning I am happy so trading is a game if you win then your emotion will be satisfied.
Much depends on the approach to trade. If for you, trading is the only source of income, then for you this occupation is primarily a money generator. I myself am more of an investor, I prefer this.
There are certainly people like that, people who make their own satisfaction by trading Bitcoin so that his passions are met. Just as it is a painter who focuses always on his paintings without knowing how much the value of the painting price he made.

I guess that a lot of the people are trading for money, they want to get rich. Maybe there are some people that trades because they like it, or they enjoy it, but no one wastes his time just for trading and risking some money. I trade for money only. I guess many people trade for money because everyone wants to fulfill their dreams.
Everyone is interested on earning money, most of the people who are just trading because of their emotions are losing a huge amount of their coins, so always try to handle your patience in trading because the market is volatile.

Everyone wants to earn money and also wants to earn income. I'm also with this. When you make money from different means, you will be mentally satisfied.I can not earn even more money. So I'm not trading. I want to have satisfaction with my family by making money.
Emotional satisfaction because for the satisfaction we cannot sell them for low price funny! We are trading to make money, not for any other thing and sometimes a situation of the market will not help us to make money but we have to hold the coins for certain period in order to make profits.
