for I do not know that I know someone's life is just borrowing us that you have lived long ago but you will eventually get the god. So do not be afraid you take the god because your life is borrowed

I can prove it, you can feel you are alive just because you are, just as you can see and hear, just as you can feel and think, just as you eat, sleep, have sex, just as you feel happy, sad, dull, wonderful.

We are created from atoms and cells.
Essentially we are just a sophisticated biological machine in which when one piece of matter moves or behaves in a certain way it creates a chain reaction.
A beautiful mathematical and biological orchestra of unfathomable precision.
Given enough time and resources every component that makes up our bodies and minds can be dismantled and explained through science.
So i ask again do you truly believe that you are alive?

Yes, I'm alive but I don't believe that I'm made from atom and cells. That's just some opinion that was just made by science because they don't believe in God. Just read some Bible dude, you need it, a lot. Science is just inventing stories about it though.

Why bible? Why not quran or some spider-man comics? Why not necronomicon? C'thulhu fhtagn!

Mami people are physically alive. I mean of course, they are moving. But mentally they are living in a delusion.

Why would, being comprehensively explained by science, interfere with/negate being alive? (It seems this is what you are implying).

...every component that makes up our bodies and minds can be dismantled and explained through science.
So i ask again do you truly believe that you are alive?

I know myself to be conscious (and "alive"), but I can't be sure that the rest of you are actually conscious.

It seems to me that I live. But maybe I'm just dreaming and about to wake up in a different reality

As long as i felt pain im really sure that im alive. We are not alive if we don't have a Soul or Holy Spirit in our body.

Well, interesting question.
I had interesting discussion with Jehovah Witnesses the other day and they believe that death come to human world because of sin of Adam and Eve but originally, we should live forever and never die.
They believe that in the last days we will all resurrect and live forever, on the Earth.
Christians believe the same but they teach that our spirit is eternal, not body and that we will live in paradise.
Somehow, I more like first option Smiley

While you can still feel the pain you are still alive , and i can still feel the pain so it means i am still alive Grin wth this just like a sort of out of the box questions from a job interview . I remembered the time when i was applying for a call center job and i was asked the same question by the interviewer , at first i knew that i will never pass the final interview .

I believe that I am alive and so are you. We can breathe, think, smile, move and many more. We have a brain and can make plans and decision. We also can feel love, pain, anger, the emotions that makes us feel alive. In addition to that, doesn't feeling happy about something makes you feel alive? When you don't eat for a long time you can feel if your hungry right? well in that case we are alive since you have your senses.

Does it really matter how you define your state on earth though? How does that knowledge/definition help you? By defining something, through experiments, science, philosophy, religion etc you are essentially reducing infinity to a mere container. It makes the world around you less intimidating but at the same time it places a huge burden on your shoulders.

Does it matter? Does it matter if we are truly alive? We were put in this world for no reason. Why don't we just enjoy it? We don't have to conduct experiments and have a bloody debate just to prove and disprove each other's points.

Seriously?  You dig too much on the very flesh and component of your body structure.  Continue to do that and keep on thinking, you will find your self living on a hospital with fellow people on straight jackets.   Grin

I am alive and I believe in that.  I am in pain sometimes, lonely, feel disappointed and terrible and wanted to be dead but seeing my dog Patchi and my cat Munang and seeing them doing their things makes my life alive.  Just find a reason to feel alive.
